This double wall oven is a godsend! It's beautiful to look at, is of quality construction, was very easy to install (came with excellent instructions), and the digital operating pad is intuitive and very simple to use. Both ovens work really well and are easy to clean. We could not be more pleased.

We really love the oven. It is quiet! We like the keep warm setting of 145, and the max oven setting of 550. It is good at keeping food warm, and capable of producing quality bread and pizza. Having convection in both ovens is also a big plus.

So far, this double oven has met all expectations and operates very well on all foods cooked. We particularly like the touch controls, which are easy to follow and make changes. We had to do some carpentry work owing to the shortness of the electrical connection. We had to pay extra($175) to move the control box to a higher position in order to hook it up. So far. Electrolux has not accepted out application for rebate called the Fit Promise:-(

Great except one thing

Love the look, functionality and simplicity of this 27" double wall oven, especially for the price. But something annoyed me exponentially - the power cord from the machine is only about 25" - whereas I needed about 60" to reach my existing junction box. I could have bought an extension cord from Frigidaire - for $430!!!!! NO THANKS FRIDGIDAIRE. So, I spent about 10 hours elongating the cord in the crawl space, cutting through sub floor and main floor and raising the junction box to be within reach of the ridiculously short power cord from the machine. That would have probably cost another $500 - $1,000 for someone not proficient at DIY. Not pretty. I don't see why the cable could not be longer in the first place - so short-sighted. Otherwise I like the oven - but that's all moot if you cannot plug the thing in!!!

I purchased frigidare model FCWD2727AS, a 27 inch microwave oven combination. I paid $2800 on 08/06/2022 and waited 6 months for delivery, which delivered January 28, 2023. Immediately, upon usage of microwave, there was a loud humming or buzzing, which still remains. Then, using the oven, I Immediately received an error code 45, that simply says contact customer service, with a toll free number. I contacted customer service, set up a service call. The error code was due to a cooling fan loose connection. A brand spanking new appliance should not have these issues right out of the box. Now I am being told, that the magnetron on the microwave may need replacement due to the microwave noise and again have a service call scheduled for another day of having to take time off from employment. Although a one year warranty is in effect, I have lost six months of warranty due to back order of appliance and would like frigidare to extend the warranty in a goodwill concession, since I do not know what else is going to fail next; however, I have very little faith, based upon the current failures already. A new oven may be the remedy, since this is certainly not an appliance that is new, with immediate failures out the box.A brand new costly appliance, thousands of dollars spent, should not have problems out of the box.My customer experience has been horribly frustrating, stressful and anxiety ridden. You wait six months, only to incur an oven, microwave that cannot be used. Taking valuable time off from employment, to accommodate a service technician to enter the home, not once but now twice. Loosing, time, money and patience. This is the first time I have purchased Frigidare. I have Maytag, Kenmore, GE, kitchen aid and never had any problems. I don't believe I would patronize this brand again, unless something or someone makes this right. Ron Baltimore, MD

Single Wall Oven

Had to select double wall oven as my model # FWCS2727ASE shows not valid. This is a review of the single wall oven. I installed it myself and if the power cord had been 6 inches longer I would have given it an excellent rating (5 star). Perfect fit, easy to operate, seems to do everything advertised. My only complaint is the power cord would not reach without the oven in the space and I had no other access to the connection other than the space where the oven fits.

My new ovens fit in the previous space perfectly. The control pad is is small and easy to use. I am basically an oven cook... I like the way food tastes when cooked in an oven, and these a perfect job whether for roasts, egg stratas or baking macaroons for cookie exchange!

I am not happy with the fact that I cannot put aluminum foil on the bottom of the oven andthat there is no heat element on the bottom of the oven, only the top. I'm a baker, and notbeing able to foil the bottom of the oven to catch drips from pies or melted butter from thecrust of a cheesecake means I must clean my oven after every use. I'm not a fan of convection ovens because for fruit pies I like the bottom crust to cook faster so it isn't soggy, and to do that, I need to have a temp of 425 for the first 15 minutes before turningthe oven to 350 for the rest of the baking time. A bottom heating element is essential forthat to happen. I also don't like the fact that the oven turns off when the timer goes off.Sometimes baked goods need extra time, so then I have to reset the computer . Thisovens are more of a hassle than my previous Frigidaire ovens.

Long over due in buying a new oven . However, we are 100% happy with our decision after months of research. Not easy finding a 27™€ double wall oven and what a great find with both being convection!It does take a few extra minutes to preheat.Wish the blue protective film came off easier.Also, a little bit longer cord would have been nice.It does NOT overheat kitchen and is NOT loud!Love it!!!!!

I read the book and followed startup procedures. Oven controls are very easy to use. My one issue is the noise the bottom oven only makes when in use. It is a whining noise that I am told is normal for this model and will eventually stop, we will see. Other than that this is a great oven.

Our new 27" double wall oven has been very sufficient. Our last one was not. It was giving us all kinds of different settings on temperatures. Cookies were over cooked and turkeys were under cooked one day and the next the opposite.This oven has been doing what it says it's supposed to do and we are happy for it.

We purchased this model because we needed a 27" double oven to replace our old one and there weren't a lot of options available. I am sure I will get used to it, but since the menu option for the upper and lower level are tabs instead of two distinct buttons, it is easy to get the two mixed up (I accidently turned on the upper oven that had bread rising instead of the lower oven that was empty). The upper oven works as expected; I have yet to try out all the various features of the oven.The biggest issue I have is that only 3 days into having the oven, the lower oven will not always turn on. After starting to preheat for a minute, it will give an error and not allow you turn it on. We called out a repair person but could not get the oven to throw the error. Now a few weeks later we believe the issue is when we open the door prior to turning on the oven (to check to be sure there is nothing inside) then we get the error. So, now I have to call out a repair person again. Pretty frustrating for having spent so much on the oven.

Easy Baking

We chose this model because we prefer ease and durability over bells and whistles. Our initial experience has been that the oven is indeed easy to use, spacious, and sensible controls. It heats more quickly, and cook times seem shorter than our old oven (even shorter than many recipes call for.) A couple of loaves of banana bread and pizza crust have had edges burnt or dried out during standard cooking times, so we are having to experiment with shorter cooking times, placing food and racks differently, and using foil protection. Still, we are satisfied with the oven so far.

When squirrels chewed into the main power line to the house, my 20 year old double oven suffered internal damage from the power surge and couldn™€™t be repaired. In looking to replace it we found only Frigidaire made the 27™€ double wall oven we needed to fill the space without additional carpentry. Though skeptical of trying another brand, we felt we needed to buy this one. I have not been disappointed! It cooks evenly, offering both conventional and convention in both upper and lower, My Thanksgiving meal was cooked at the same time to perfection. This oven is so quiet you don™€™t hear it running at all! I give it 5 stars!

Such A Great Difference From Our Old Whirlpool!

We recently purchased this double oven to replace our old Whirlpool. We had replaced our glass cooktop about a year ago when our Whirlpool cooktop cracked. We chose Frigidaire for it's features and price point. So, with the double oven needing replacement, we decided to go with a matching Frigidaire product. The unit is very attractive, a little more streamlined than the previous Whirlpool model we had and the digital menu is super easy to navigate. It's heat distribution is wonderful, especially when compared to our old unit, which had some issues with temperature variation, which made it nearly impossible to be sure when anything was cooked correctly. While we had to wait several months before we received the unit (what with all the current shortages going on in all products, it seems) we are thrilled with our new unit.

Easy to use. I have only used the bottom oven once since installed in our new house. It worked fine. It seemed to run a little hot (almost burned my biscuits in the normal amount of cook time), but it could be that my old oven that I was used to wasnt working well.
