Finally An New Oven!

Our 12-year-old oven died eleven months ago. Replacement parts were no longer available, and it had a cutout that made it seemingly impossible to replace. As if the gods were watching, it miraculously came back to life after a few weeks and sporadically was on and off. Cooking usually worked, but it was impossible to bake anything. On a whim, we went to another dealer who found a Frigidaire oven that fit the cutout perfectly. Hallelujah!!!

We™€™ve just had it about 2 weeks. Delivery was great. Easy to install. Nice looking oven with features. Not in love with the touch screen/buttons as it takes some hard pressing at times but I™€™m sure we™€™ll get used to it.

Inexpensive Double Oven

Our 25 yFrigidaire 30ear old double convection wall oven finally stopped working so of course we needed a new oven. All we wanted was a basic inexpensive double convection wall oven in white which would match all of our kitchen appliances. After visiting several stores we were shocked not only at the crazy high price for a double convection wall oven but no one was selling an oven in white! Finally at RC Willey we found the Frigidaire 30 inch Double Convection Wall Oven in "White" at the lowest cost that we had seen since we started looking for a new oven. We have now used our new Frigidaire 30 inch Double Convection Wall Oven for about a month and it works great and is easy to use. The only addition that would make this oven perfect would be a roll out rack which we had in our other double wall oven. We would highly recommend the Frigidaire Double Wall Convection Oven if you want a reasonably priced usable oven. Plus if you want it in white - Frigidaire has it!

I love the look of the wall ovens. It is user friendly with the control pad. The only change I have to get use to from our old ovens is that it takes a lot longer to reach the desired temperature. Otherwise, the baking itself is great!

Purchased/installed this double oven a few weeks ago. Replaced an old Frigidaire, so it slide right in the same opening. The new unit looks nice and was a fair price. It is easy to use and works as expected. Cannot speak to longevity. So far so good.

We got this unit to replace our 25 year old Kitchen Aid unit that just recently started giving us some trouble. Very happy with our decision to go with the Frigidaire unit, as it was about half the price of the Kitchen Aid model that was similar. We have had it for little over a month now and are very pleased with it. Easy to operate, quiet and performs well. Would definitely recommend this unit.

My new ovens are attractive and the controls are easy to operate; however, the exhaust on convection bake blows out a swift gale of hot air which will blow out a fireplace match at 18". The oven temperature is not consistent. It begins at the set temperature and cools off during cooking taking longer than recommended to cook the food. There is only one oven light located on the left side making the right side very dark. The oven handle is not wrapped on the back side with the plastic covering so the oven handle is uncomfortable to the touch--rough and scratchy. I am working hard to adjust to these deficits in the ovens.

A dire replacement of another manufacturer's oven. Pretty new; seems to work fine so far. Love the view into the oven Wonder whether the slump in temperature over a cooking event is usual or a flaw. Do not so far see the advantages of convection. So glad to have a working oven.

So far we love it. Very easy to use. The door windows are large enough to check on everything inside. Really like the fact that the heating elements are enclosed. I haven™€™t had anything run over yet but it is inevitable! The convection fans are quiet.

Faulty oven

They advertise this oven has convection not true it is not. Shelves are not the ones for this oven. When bottom oven is in use it™€™s window as well as top oven window steams over. Top oven inside glass oven shattered first time we used it very dangerous. Store blamed company company blamed store. Been way over a month sense we bought it. Offered to take it back they said they would not take it back. Company and store don™€™t care about customers.

Convection is great, digital options are easy and it's definitely the latest generation in baking. Worth every dime! I LOVE to cook which is why I have full-size double ovens, even though I live alone. I also have white Frigidaire refrigerator along with white Frigidaire spare refrigerator and spare freezer in my pantry!! I was delighted when I found white Frigidaire double ovens that would fit in the same cabinetry built for my prior double ovens and at such a reasonable price--even in this lousy economy. Problem 1 - The oven works fine, so far. However, the self-cleaning part still needs manual cleaning afterwards when self-cleaning is done.Problem 2 - The built-in double oven was too small for the opening from the previous built-in oven. Therefore, a three-inch gap remains at the bottom of the oven. I was told that there was a trim kit for the oven. I was okay with that. However, Frigidaire "does not make a white trim kit anymore." And I cannot seem to find a store that has one. Everyone has stainless steel, but not white. Now, I am stuck with how to fill the three-inch gap at the bottom of my oven, with no viable solution.Problem 3 - No one has a white trim kit or a reasonable solution. And Frigidaire Customer Support does not help with a solution. So, consumer is left on their own. And Frigidaire does not care.All this is why I rated the oven three stars.

Have had the oven for about a month. Overall it is a good oven and good value for the price (I got it on sale).I like the additional space (I moved up from a 27in) and the convection fan. I can comfortably bake all the cookies or cupcakes at once, which is much more efficient. Things have baked evenly, though they take a little longer to bake than my prior oven. I guess I could adjust the temperature, but have not done so yet. Differences from the prior oven are to be expected.It is slower to preheat compared to my old oven, but most of the time that is just a planning issue of when to start the oven during the prep process. Only for things like frozen pizzas is it noticeable. I wish it had a rapid preheat option where it could engage the broiler element along with the convection fan (which is on during preheat) to preheat faster.The convection fan comes on for brief periods (~16sec./min.) even in normal bake mode. It comes on for longer (~30sec./min.) in convection bake mode. I wish there was a "Custom Bake" option, where I could experiment with the convection fan setting during bake (fully off, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, on at all times). I suspect having the convection fan on longer would allow for more of a frying effect. As it is, this oven is not a replacement for my countertop air fryer, which is faster, more efficient and provides more of a frying effect (but is much smaller!).Because the oven is bigger, the doors are bigger and there is more of a reach. My solution is to pull out the rack, which slides easily (for now).The controls buttons are a little less sensitive (it takes more of a push), but the screen itself is fairly sensitive and you can start up the controls just by touching the screen.It has a nice clean look. Not too busy.

It's controlled by an easy touchscreen and looks very modern and slick. I love that it's a convection oven as well as food cooks more evenly. So happy to have a new state-of-the-art double oven!
