Cheaply built, not effective at washing

This dishwasher is cheaply built, the racks come off the track all the time and just have a cheap feel. I have tried every possible setting to see if the cleaning would improve and there have been no improvements. I have also tried changing detergents and no improvements. This dishwasher also does not dry at all, even with the heat dry the dishes come out with water on them. I have had this looked at by my plumber and there is nothing wrong mechanically. I have only been using this for a few months and I will never buy another Frigidaire dishwasher. At this point it is easier to hand wash the dishes as I know they will at least be clean.

This dishwasher has lots and lots of room. I love the 3rd rack for utensils and small items. It has a huge capacity for dishes, bowls and silverware, too. When it is running I can barely hear it. It is wonderful.

Our dishwasher was installed and started on a test run. 4 hours later it was still washing with one minute to go for one and one-half hours. And hour later we tried to put it out according to directions. It kept running. At 1 am, we pulled the plug and turned off the water. We spent the next hour cleaning up water running out the bottom all over the kitchen floor. Now, when we plug it in it runs even with the door open. It does not move from cycle to cycle and no lights are lit. We cannot get help until weekday business hours. We had a Frigidaire refrigerator for 22 years. This is a glorified towel hangar.

I really like this dishwasher, the only negative so far is the utensil holder! with the large openings at the top as you go to put in the silverware it slides out the side and down into the bottom. why it is made like this is silly. I have loaded many a dishwashers in my time and this is the first I have seen like this. It does a good job at cleaning the dishes....

Love new dishwasher though its heating element doesn't dry dishes as well as our old 2011 GE dishwasher we needed to replace due to leaks. The price was good and dimensions were perfect for our space until it came to installation time. New models aren't necessarily designed the same as older models. Consumers who measure overall dimensions also need to look at the back of their existing dishwashers before buying newer models. It was a challenge and extra expense to have our new Frigidaire dishwasher installed as its back was solidly sealed and could not fit into existing space without hiring a plumber to relocate old water pipes and a raised electrical outlet. Unbeknownst to me, our original 2011 dishwasher had an open back that better accommodated the existing pipes and electrical outlet. Both had to be relocated at an additional $1500 expense to accommodate the new dishwasher. Too much aggravation to try to return the new dishwasher and try to find something else that fit. Most newer models don't have an open back design. Consumers need to know that the design of the back of a new unit is just as important as its dimensions.

The racks in this DW are terrible. They are spaced so narrowly that the only thing that fits well are thin plates. I put a lot more in my dw than just plates. And they are not adjustable. I don™€™t like this dw.

Works very well. I like the big tub and extra shelf on top. But, it was a pain to install. Fishing the hoses and electrical line thru the small narrow channels on the bottom while pushing the unit into place was difficult and frustrating.

The stainless steel tub is great. The dish racks are poorly designed because the pegs are all slanted and don't fit the dishes well. On neither rack there is no good place for plastic food storage containers. The top control panel sticks out beyond the front so it scrapes my hand when closing the door. The heated dry is insufficient to dry dishes with a low spot, like a coffee cup. The closeout at the bottom does not reach the floor by 1/2" and is not adjustable even though it has screw slots; it's like a piece is missing. The eye for the rinseaid is useless, there is no way to see the if it needs to be filled. Beyond these items the dishwasher does clean well.

Positives = very quiet, cleans good & looks good but normal cycle takes a long time. Instructions are poor and the water sending module could only be connected via left. Not easy to pass through water line as unit does not have easy pass through.

Very nice. Somewhat quiet. For me, it makes a swooshing sound during the first cycle. I'm not complaining because I am used to hearing a dishwasher work. Some review said that it was very quiet. But for me, that's not the case. I'm not mad about it. The third rack I use for odd things, like silicone spoons and spatulas. I pre-wash all caked on food so I cannot attest to the effectiveness of the third rack in cleaning.
