Disappointing

I had to get a shorter (ADA compliant) dishwasher for it to fit under my countertop. I am really disappointed in this dishwasher. I realized that it would be smaller, but I never thought two inches in height could make such a difference. On page 7 of the manual, there™€™s a suggested loading diagram. Nowhere does it show pots and pans, and indeed I don™€™t seem to be able to fit any in when I have a normal amount of plates and bowls. I guess I™€™ll have to start washing pots and pans by hand. Furthermore, the top tines are very short, so glasses, cups, and smaller bowls fall down until the basket is fully loaded and they hold one another up. And two things are required that weren™€™t with my old GE dishwasher: I discovered a rinse aid is needed for the dishes to dry (my first few loads were dripping), and hot water needs to be run before starting the dishwasher. Makes me feel bad that I had to spend $250 more for this inadequate dishwasher than a normal-height one, but I had little choice once I discovered I needed to get an ADA compliant one for it to fit.

July 13, 2022I have run my new Frigidaire dishwasher once on the normal cycle and once on the one-hour wash with heat dry cycle. As recommended, I did use Cascade Rinse aid. Very pleased with cleanliness of all items in dishwasher. I did stand next to dishwasher, when I was cleaning my pots and I found my dishwasher was very quiet. All my large and small plates fit into the bottom section along with three large glasses. I was able to fit four small glasses and my bowls in the top section. Very pleased with my new dishwasher.

My old washer was a thicker stronger stainless steel. This door wobbles! Plate rack is great, but the front bottom is very inefficient; no place for bowls!

I replaced another 7 yo model because it was on its last legs. I had to go with an ADA model due to my counter height (standard size was 1/2 too high). This one cleans well, but the rack configuration isn™€™t well thought out by anyone who actually puts dishes in a dishwasher. The front door is light weight and kind of chintzy. The controlsOn the front are really hard to read and I presume the push button styleWill give out in a few years too. With few other choices, it™€™s the best of a limited set of not great options. I wouldn™€™t recommend this one unless you had to.

Dishwashers have come a loooong way since my 20 year old one I just replaced. Everything about this new Frigidaire dishwasher makes me ask "why did I wait?". Easy to use controls, super quiet, and great cleaning results. Bonus points for Energy Star rated, so I got a rebate from my utility company. The wash cycle I use takes only 4 gallons of water, yet abracadabra, the dishes are spotless! (Be sure to use a rinse aid, as they suggest-it really makes a difference! )

Bought Frigidaire appliance suite. Happy with refrigerator and gas range but the dishwasher is a disappointment. Cannot find capacity specs but I estimate the new dishwasher holds 40% less than the old one (also Frigidaire). This can be ascribed to smaller internal dimensions but also an inordinate number of tines that make it impossible to load dishes in a logical or intuitive way.

Absolutely Useless Drawer Design

This dishwasher came with a new condo unit that we are living in and unfortunately, the design of the interior drawers could not be more useless. The Spacing for plates does not fit our plates, our cups do not stand up and fall over due to the bad design of the upper drawer. We cannot fit a full load of dishes and have frankly just given up on this. I wish there were other options for drawers to install, because this brand new unit has no place in our home and is an absolute embarrassment to who ever designed it.

Weve been using this dishwasher for about a month, and are very pleased with its operation. The interior is well-designed and accommodates a great variety or shapes and sizes, from a roaster pan to glasses.. The wash cycle is thorough and quiet. I haven't used the heated dry. The only thing I would improve is the touch panel on the front is difficult to see and read.

I bought this site unseen during covid. I needed a special size for my space since someone put the tile floor in after the kitchen was built. They had to cut out the previous dishwasher. It is hard to load odd size items. None of my water bottles fit well. The plates are hard to get in and out. The silverware basket lets forks fall through. The wheels on the racks are small so the rack gets stuck if you pull it all the way out. It does not appear to vent after washing the dishes so the dishes are quite wet when you open it. It clean well.

We have only had our new dishwasher for 2 weeks now but it is working fantastic! We are very pleased with the ease to load it and unload the sparkling clean dishes. We have only used a few of the different settings but they are quiet and like the clean button.

failed the first time I ran it

I bought it at Lowes and they installed it within 5 days. That part was great. 1st time I did a normal wash, we got an error code and it ran for hours trying to drain it until I finally had to trip that breaker all night long. When I turned it back on in the am, it was still running and had the same error. Of course all the dishes were still wet as well, so we had to spend additional time doing that too. just got rid of a DW that ran successfully every time for 16 yrs for this junk

I have found it cleans the dishes quite well. I love the utensil upper slide basket. One thing I miss is being able ti adjust the rack holder so that you can fit larger (not taller) items.I would give it a 9 out of 10.

We purchased this dishwasher (along with a Frigidaire oven and fridge) in November 2019. In May 2020 it broke however since it was still under the manufacturer's warranty, it was fixed within a week. In June 2020 it broke again (same issue), but, like last time, it was fixed again within a week. In July 2020 it broke again (same issue), however this time we were told that the part was on back order. We continue to call and open cases with the company, however, 6 weeks later we are no closer to a resolution. Do yourself a favor and don't buy this dishwasher.

I bought this a month ago and it cleans very well. I even put the grill f rom my small weber to get clean and I was pleasantly surprised that it removed all baked on gunk. It is extremely quiet and a wonderful addition to my kitchen. Love the many options available to utilse for specialty cleaning
