I have yet to turn on the appliance, but I can say the contractor didn't have an issue installing it. I that it will work. I know not to use cast iron skillets on the ceramic stove top. I don't often cook or prepare my own meals.

First time using this type of cooktop, I was used to the traditional one where the burners are like a grill, well let just says, I like it, not thrilled about it, requires more maintenance than what I was used to, harder to clean ,even using the scrapper and then the ceramic cream to keep it nice, on the other one I was using the aluminum covers, and throw them away when they got to soiled, the basins i would popped them out and wash in the sink, easy piecy.

2 separate appliance installs. Both turn the cook burners on and off intermittently while cooking. The red heating light element will turn on and off. Tried different cooking pans and behavior the same.

We had our electric cooktop installed last week and it works great. It's very nice to look at and has all the correct features we were looking for. One of the very nice features is the cutout measurements, it gives a plus/minus measurement so you have a little room to play with. Great product/investment.

This our first Frigidaire cooktop and we love how it looks. It is extremely easy to use and boils water much faster than our old cooktop which was not a Frigidaire. The installer was punctual, professional, knowledgable, and answered all of our questions. In less than 30 minutes he removed the old cooktop and correctly installed this new one. The thinness (height) of the unit is perfect for our needs because it is mounted into a granite countertop. We give this model five stars and look forward to many years of ownership.

I like my new 30™€ radiant glass cook top. It replaces a 20 year old radiant cook top. It heats nice , evenly and faster the my old cook top. My only complaint is that it™€™s too shiny and shows smudges and other debris too much, like finger print or moisture droplets.

Comprehensive install instruction, easy to install, cooktop works well. Slower to heat than my previous one but keeps the temps consistently. My only complain is monotone black shiny surface that shows every single speck. It would be nice to have some color variation/ camouflage.

Wanted a replacement cooktop that fit in the existing cutout and had analog controls (knobs) and not digital. This unit fit the bill. Installation was easy. Only had it a few weeks so can't speak to longevity. The unit performs well so far, the burners heat up very quickly. I am satisfied.

Poor design/layout and burner size

This cooktop has a very poor layout. There is a big burner in the back, so when cooking on that burner you need to reach over the small burner in front. The big burner size is 9™€, yet pot/pan sizes are 8™€, 10™€, 12™€. I should have tried to get my old cooktop repaired before buying this one. Very unhappy.

I think it's a nice looking cooktop and in the very short time I have used it 4 times. So it's really not enough time to get a real feel for the cooktop or if it has issues. Why not wait until after the warranty is over to ask for a review? Probably because the company knows that the sales would be much lower. Because consumers would have time to experience any known or unknown failures. If I win the 3k sweepstakes being offered for this review. I will definitely update but it won't change the outcome of my honesty experience of the performance of the cooktop.
