Great cooktop

Installed quickly and works so much better than our old one. My wife and I love how this cooktop looks and works. We really like the fast boil burner. Having two large burners is wonderful. Both my 12™€ frying pans fit at the same time. So far we™€™ve enjoyed everything about this cooktop. Our only issue has been that it does seem to scratch easily. Hopefully replacing our old pans with stainless steel pans will fix it.

Very fast cooking, easy to clean. I do wish the knows weren't Plastic but they are good quality. Also has a metal piece on the front edge that protects it. I would love that to go around th sides too but it's a great cooktop! And a great price. Easy install.

Defected electric cooktop

We've got our 36" Frigidaire electric cooktop on 5/16/24 and it was installed next day.We were happy to have a nice looking cooktop after 1 month! We've checked that all burners are working well, but we realized thatthe "Hot surface" light didn't turn off even after in 2-3 hrs and we didn't use it that day anymore. After 5 days it is still on! So, we cannot trust is anymore! We don't feel safe!The Best Buy's Quick Squad Technician came out today and wasn't able to fix it.It is definitely a factory problem, and the cooktop needs to be replaced. Based on Best Buy the earliest availability for replacement is June 20,2024. It is ridiculous to wait soo much, since we already waited in line to get this product, and we shouldn't suffer because of a defected product!I've seen other reviews for this cooktop and I'm surprised the Frigidaire Co. didn't solve this problem yet, since it is a safety issue!!

Excellent cooktop. Moving from coiled cooktop to the ceremic cooktop does take some adjusting but love it so far. One suggestion that the labels on the cook top could be somewhere else as removing the labels left behind glue residue.

The cooktop heats quickly and maintains heat more than our previous cooktop. This has lead to a learning curve where oatmeal boils over because it heats so much more quickly than we were used to. A transition we are happy to make for the increased efficiency. The size and spacing between burners is great. Other versions have the same number of burners, but they are spaced so closely that you cannot use more than 2 burners at the same time. We have not had that problem with this cooktop.

The appliance is very difficult to keep clean. We have owned glass top ranges before. We are very careful to not spill at all on the burner but have on occasion and even with the special glass top cleaner, is very difficult to keep totally clean. My retailer was mailed pictures over two weeks ago and I have heard nothing from them. Very disappointed with this product.

The quick boil burner is a serious concern. It got so hot when I was hearing a pot of oil at about 6 that it caught fire. The flames shot up the the ceiling and we almost lost everything. I tried to reach out to Frigidaire about the problem but, the phone numbers hang up on you because no one is there to take the call and I can't seem to email anyone about the issue. I thought, what did I do wrong? Did I use the wrong pot? Was there warning in the instruction manual but, there is not. The pot I used can handle the heat. So that leaves the stove top getting too hot as the cause. I would not recommend this or any stove with a quick boil function again ever.

Works great, is easy to clean and was competitively priced. With the knobs to the right side edge, all the burners are more accessible. It was also easy to install with no issues. I really liked the larger burners in front with one that is a combo, with both a large and small burner. I'm pretty handy, but if your not, get an electrician to do the simply hookup. All the rest of the install was really easy.

Overall, I am quite pleased with the cooktop. I would appreciate a mid-size burner, as there only appears to be small and large sizes. Cleaning, even with the provided stovetop cleaners, does not seem to restore the original clean surface.

This stove top cooks evenly and looks great on my granite countertops. It has a nice metal stainless steel bar at the bottom that helps it from chipping. My other stovetop kept cracking at the corners and I kept getting cut. I purchased this one because of the metal bar at the bottom. It has 5 different eyes with some of them able to do a quick boil. I really love it cooks and how nice it looks in my kitchen.

The Figidair cooktop was the second cooktop we purchased to replace out old one. We originally purchased a Chinese touch top stove. The instructions for this were terrible, and once we got it installed, one burner was not working.We found the Frigidaire met our needs and was in our price range. Total installation, including wiring, was less than one-half hour. It dropped right in our counter hole.We like that it has its knobs on the side. They are easy to operate and turn smoothly. The cooktop heats very quickly and has a good range of heat adjustments.

I just had my 36" electric cooktop installed today. I was replacing a KitchenAid one that had a crack in it - plus I did not like the built in controls. My question is on the Keep Warm burner. When I turn it on high, it is barely hot to the point where you can lay your hand across the burner and it is only slightly hot. The element shows to be on, but doesn't really seem to be emitting much heat. Is that normal?
