The freezer was plugged in and turned on and within 9 hours was fully ready for us to fill it. So we emptied our old chest freezer that was packed full and proceeded to fill the new one and we had room to spare. The freezer is relatively quiet, the food in the freezer is frozen solid, and the temperature control is easy to use overall the freezer is doing better than our expectations and as long as it doesn™€™t have any issues we are going to be very happy with it.

We got this freezer because we are buying 1/2 a cow and the size is perfect for it. The shelves allow for easy organization, same with the door layout. I like that it doesn't have a handle in the front, but keep an eye on this if you have a tight space.

Having an audible alarm and and light to alert me when the freezer temperature is above the setting is great, just that feature alone would have save me from losing a lot of food when my old freezer stopped working.Another positive feature is multiple slots for shelf adjustments

The freezer looks great! We love the fact it has a simple temperature dial on the inside and the green light at the bottom makes it simple to monitor. It does run on the louder side but I figured that is just due to its size. At first I thought something could™€™ve been wrong.

Very quiet

Very happy so far. Only 6 days in. Freezer is super quiet. I have 2 minor issues. 1) The door does not close on its own. 2) The freezer made A LOT of noise the first 12 or so hours it was on. So much in the fact that I called Frigidaire out of concern. They were very willing to replace it if necessary, but the noises did stop. Noises are hard to explain but a lot of snap crackle and pop sounds as well as expansion and contraction crackling. Frigidaire should post an informational message that this could be normal on first startup.

I had a chest freezer for 40 years. It was difficult to organize, reach food, and defrost. I had food expire so their was a-lot of waste. My husband used it as his work bench. I had to remove his tools to access my freezer. I am so glad I switched out and bought this upright freezer. I love I can see the food I have in this easy open design. The door closes tightly so I do not worry about the door being left open. Easy organizing. Less Food waste.
