New Dbl Overn

We have had the oven less than two months and it has not been working for the last month. First tech was a no show, second tech said the control board was bad and he had to order one, we had given the error code telling us that the control board as bad and we gave that to the lady who took our service call , do not understand why the tech showed up without a control panel, New control panel was ordered and the tech installed it. Before he could leave the area, I called him and said we cannot set the time and cannot change between the upper and lower ovens. He said once he heard that he ordered another control panel different than the one he just installed. The new panel will be in next week. On top of not having the use of a very expensive oven, when you call for service your wait time is well past 45 minutes. Clearly the customers time is not valuable. If I could give Frigidaire NO STARS I would. Cannot recommend them at all.

We replaced a 1998 wall oven/microwave combo with this. I love the size. Our previous oven wasn™€™t large enough to accommodate a large cookie pan but this double wall oven is very spacious, easy to keep clean and I love all the options for cooking! So far I™€™ve used bake, convection, air fry and broil. Can™€™t wait to try sous-vide. Still learning about how it cooks - but seems to warm up quickly ( there™€™s also the no wait preheat option!) and cook pretty evenly. I did bake 2 pizzas last night and should have separated them more with one at the top and the other at the bottom bc there wasn™€™t enough room to cook the bottom of the pizza on top so it was a bit doughy but that was user error. So easy to keep clean too!

The installation was very straightforward and went well. We have used some modes, such as slow cook and regular bake, and it worked as expected, except for some unexplained clicking during the slow cook mode. Setting up and using the front panel is very easy and intuitive.

So far I really love the new ovens...they are very user friendly and seem to heat up much faster than my previous ovens. I also like the fact that it has so many different settings for baking and has the Air Fry capability. If you are short like I am, you have to be back from the oven display to see the icons for both the top & lower ovens. Looking straight up you cannot see the icon clearly for the oven that is not on. This is the only thing that could be better. Just a matter of getting used to the workings of these ovens. I would highly recommend this double oven combo.

I had my new oven installed last week to replace the one I had for 14 years under the Kenmore name. That glass front shattered. This (almost exact) replacement looks beautiful and cooks wonderfully. The first thing I did was bake bread that i'd run out of. Super result, of course. I look forward to many years of happy use and trying out all it's features.

But it also would be nice to be able to set the delayed start time for more than an hour. For a busy mom who is pulled in many directions on any given day, that is very inconvienient not to be able to start the oven in, say, 4 or 5 hours.

This oven looks beautiful but don't let the look deceive you. This is a $3000+ piece of junk. It does not cook reliably. The temp fluctuates between 50 and 75 degrees either way. Baking is out of the question. I had to call repair out before my warranty even expired. I was told that all ovens fluctuate but it averages to the correct tempature. NO. NOT EVEN. Tell that to Lace Oatmeal Cookies or a Souffle. Bite into some raw fish. ON TOP OF THAT whatever you do, don't purchase their warranty. It's managed out side of the United States and other than scheduling an appointment, they are useless. Today will be the second appointment missed to repair my oven. The appointment instructions were clear on the time frame. Apparrently, Frigidaire doesn't hire repair companies that can read.A total disappointment from start to finish.Basically, stay clear of Frigidaire/Electrolux. Their products are made cheaply, their Customer Service is absolutely abysmal to non-exsistent. I wish I had never purchased this piece of junk.

Bought this and several other Frigidaire appliances as part of a kitchen remodel. It is our first double oven, and we love it. Great performance, value and aesthetic. Also really appreciate the different modes, ESPECIALLY the air fryer. Can cook 3 pounds of chicken wings to a perfect crisp with just 2 tbsp of avocado oil. Far healthier and better tasting than takeout wings cooked in unhealthy, reused oils. My only regret on performance is that when using the air fryer even at temperatures under the smoke point of the oils, and even after a self-clean, it still creates an inordinate amount of smoke that escapes into the home and sets off detectors. There are some videos out there indicating I'm not the only one with this issue, yet I don't see a solution offered by Frigidaire. Perhaps it's unavoidalbe byproduct of the cooking method, and the tradeoff is worth it, but I'd give it 6 stars if that problem could be solved somehow. Always wondered why ovens don't vent to the outside, or come with some sort of attachment with flexible hosing that can be routed up towards the vent over the range.

November 2023 our single wall oven which was over 35 years old started giving us problems. We needed to get something by Thanksgiving so we could prepare our feast. My wife and I looked around at several different manufacturers and models. We decided on a double oven which we always wished we had from the time we bought the house. Finally, we decided to buy the Frigidaire Gallery 27" with multiple cooking methods. We got the oven the day before Thanksgiving and installed it ourselves with help from a friend. Thanksgiving was a success.The oven has digital controls with a good amount of options including convection, temp probe, air fryer and more. This oven allowed us to cook multiple dishes and time them to come out in time to serve hot food. The oven is very nice looking, functions well with easy controls and cleans up easily. We are extremely pleased with this purchase!

The Double Wall Oven exploded and it caught on fire. This on the day it was installed! Brand new. Horrible service and nobody has any answer at the customer service line. No help and no answers! I'm left without a Double Wall Oven. I can't believe this. Somebody could have been killed!

Kind of a science experiment - gone RIGHT :) I was in a rush so the bone in chicken thighs were slightly a bit frozen, but I needed to get them in the oven. Long story short! Convection at 400 and a couple turns (60 min total) resulted in perfectly cooked chrispy skin chicken that would have had to have gone under the broiler in my previous oven!
