Overall a Good Oven, But With a Problem That Should Be an Easy Fix

My wife and I have become fond of our new Frigidare double oven. In general it does a good job cooking our food and offers different features that have been very useful to us. So we are satisfied overall, except for one thing.The problem we have is that the sliding rack that is included has 2 tiny springs that very quickly have work out and come off the rack. This makes it so that you can't use the sliding rack which was one of our favorite features when we purchased the double oven. When I tried to resolve this via the Frigidare online chat I was told that this isn't covered under warranty and that I would need to buy a whole new somewhat expensive sliding rack. This seemed pretty unfair to us as the problem is these 2 tiny springs that control how the rack slides. They are both broken and would probably cost less than a dollar if I knew how to get new ones or received new ones as part of the current warranty.Anyway, a warning to future customers about a problem in an otherwise good double oven.

When I consider which appiance to buy, I look for ease of opperating the settings. The control panel on this Double electric Wall Oven makes it easy to navigate all the settings. Setting the temperature, the mode and timer are all reasily navigated.

Disappointed for the price- only one timer can be set for double ovens. Also came with only one glide rack , seems like there should be one for each oven. No air fryer try provided. Customer service not helpful with registering- turns out because I already had an email with a previous . Seems to cook ok. Electrolux product.

My Frigidaire oven has been on more adventures than me this month. One day it decided it was a jet engine and started throwing Error 47 at me like it was sending distress signals to space. It refused to heat, shut itself down, acted dramatic, the whole thing.But credit where it™€™s due: Frigidaire actually came through. The tech showed up, pinpointed the issue, swapped the harness, and suddenly my oven remembered it was an oven again. It preheats like a champ now and hasn™€™t screamed for help once.Was it annoying? Absolutely. Am I weirdly grateful? Also yes. Shout-out to Frigidaire for bringing my drama-queen appliance back to life.

Awesome Ovens ! The convection is quick and cooks evenly . The Air Fry option saves having to have a separate air fryer . They are stunningly beautiful and comes equipped with a SS glide rack and several SS racks with grab handles . I recommend these ovens !

Works well but it is missing parts if you wish to broil food or bake cakes in both ovens.

The oven is working well, however, it did not come with inserts for the broiler pan. According to their user guide there are clearly documented warnings, on several different pages, that you should not use the oven in broiler mode without inserts so as to prevent fire. Also, according to the users guide when cooking layered cakes, the glide racks should be installed in position one. The oven only comes with one glide rack. The user guide recommends that you only bake layered cakes in the one oven that comes with the glide rack. If you wish to bake layered cakes in both ovens, you must purchase an additional glide rack. The bottom line is that if you wish to broil food or bake more than one layered cake you must purchase broiler inserts and a second glide rack. I feel as though Frigidaire has misrepresented their product. I believe it should clearly documented on their website that if you wish to use either oven in broiler mode that you must purchase optional broiler inserts. Similarly, if you wish to bake layer cakes in both ovens, they should also document the need to purchase optional glide racks. The reason for needing glide racks in position, one is to prevent burning on the position one with a flat rack. Glide racks are approximately 1 inch taller than flat racks. Using a flat rack in position one will burn the cake pans in position one. Attempting to broil a greasy dish without the broil insert such as bacon or skin-on chicken is much more likely to start a fire. Additional glide rack costs $159.99, and 2 broiler inserts cost $59.98 totaling $219.97.

Installed it myself a few weeks ago, pretty easy to do with the help of some extra muscle to put it in place. I have only used a few of the many many modes, but they work well, food comes out evenly cooked/heated as an oven should do!

Just getting to know our new double oven. Love the new programming and features. Performance is still under evaluation. Seems to get a little hotter at the back of the oven than our previous Frigidaire so rotating baked goods is more critical for an even bake. The food probe does not seem to connect when plugged in so has been useless thus far but everything else has been great.

No more rotating dishes or waking up in the middle of the night to cook holiday meals. I can cook the entire meal at the same time and everything is done on time! I wish I purchased this sooner and the oven is quiet convection. I told a friend and she purchased the Frigidaire Gallery range through her local Costco! She's happy too!
