Awful experience

My main gripe is with the ordering process. When I ordered this oven through this website, Frigidaire also included a free 5/8 inch flexible gas line connector, and to be clear, this was done automatically and was not something I myself selected. Now, if one is logical, they might assume that this free gas line, provided by the manufacturer themselves, would fit the product it's packaged with. IT DOES NOT. For a lot of people this wouldn't be a problem, they simply wouldn't end up using the extra piece and move on with their day. But me... maybe I overthought it. I know that the installers that get these contracted jobs are typically going to do the bare minimum - they won't make any alterations and will refuse to install unless everything is perfect and ready to go. So, knowing my preexisting gas valve was not 5/8, I had my plumber switch it out for one that was. On the say of delivery/install, the guy takes one look at my valve and says, "Oh that's not going to work, that's the wrong size. You'll have to get that changed before we can install.""What do you mean?" I said. "Frigidaire included a gas line with this oven, that valve fits it perfectly."He looks at the gas line that came with the oven and says, "Oh I don't even know why they included it. The oven already has its own gas line attached and it uses a 3/8 valve."And I'm thinking that surely the manufacturer knows what gas lines go with which of their products, but no, they do not. So, they ended up not installing it that day. I was told I would get refunded for the installation cost and I would see it back on my credit card in a few weeks. This was a lie because I have yet to see this refund. Once I finally got the oven installed, it worked fine at first, but already It's starting to malfunction - the locking pins for the oven door don't work when I engage the lockout function. They did at first but then they just stopped. Maybe this might not be a big deal for most people, but I was looking forward to the lockout function to keep my autistic child from messing with the oven. Overall this was a very bad experience.

I wasn't sure how my bread would rise considering the flow of air in this oven, but it turned out higher and more golden than the previous old gas oven. My cookies turned out great also. I did have to adjust the timing slightly.

Only direct replacement of my old Maytag

I needed to replace an old 24" wide Maytag gas wall oven and this was literally the only direct replacement dimensionally. There are a few "Euro" or "RV" models that fit the width but are much shorter and would require cabinet modifications to install. I waited for it to go on sale ($1,679 after $300 Home Depot rebate) and pulled the trigger. It fit well (just a quarter inch extra space on top) and works great. My only real complaint is that the fan stays on well after turning off the oven which makes noise and blows hot air into the kitchen. That is very annoying. I don't know why the oven feels like it needs to cool itself off quickly - my old one certainly didn't. I could also complain about the air fry rack being sold separately but a standard cooling grid over one rack with a baking sheet on a lower rack does the job just fine.

I purchased this oven because it had time-bake, convection, and steam bake and steam roast. I bake a lot of bread, however, I have yet to have a loaf of bread turn out perfectly on convection steam bake. It does a good job on steam roast.

Needed a 24" gas wall oven to replace a failed unit, and the Frigidaire Gallery unit looked good on paper, and our local distributor had one in stock. Installation documents were OK, although the unit we received had a broken power cord retainer/grommet that we needed to replace, and some steps (like installing the gas regulator cover plate) are not mentioned at all.The installed oven heats up quickly, although the broiler function is feeble and the air fryer mode only works well with relatively small amounts of food. (One or two potatoes worth of french fries, not three or more.) My bread recipes greatly appreciate the bread proofing and steam baking modes.

We are happy with this oven and all it's features (standard, convection, air fry). We wish the oven racks would slide more easily. We also wish the oven came with the Frigidaire Air Fry Tray. I went to purchase it at frigidaire.com but it was out of stock. Upon closer inspection, the Frigidaire Air Fry Tray doesn't come with a drip tray so I will most likely purchase a different brand. Lastly, the facing around the oven is ~1/8" so there's not much to cover the cabinet opening hence the gap at the bottom of the oven. It's hard to see this opening in the photo but hopefully you can make it out.

We purchased this oven to replace one of our older ones at our house. It does not go back as deep, but it operates very efficiently. It does seem to pull quite a bit of power, so be aware of that.

I have had an oven from the early 1980's since we moved into our home in 2005. Knobs were no longer attached and if a recipe said something cokked for 30 minutes, be assured it would be 45 minutes to an hour easily. By the time we were able to get something to replace it, the original oven manufacturer, GE, had ceased making the same size oven. I thought I was doomed! But, lo & behold, not only did Frigidaire make a 24" oven, it looked to be the exact dimensions we needed! We ordered through Home Depot and, even thouth it was delayed for a week, got it right before Thanksgiving. My husband & my father installed it.Other than trying to put a new oven into an old house, the process was relatively easy enough.Then we used it! For the first time since we moved into the house, I made something and it cooked in the right amount of time at the right temperature! Hallejuah!! And the Air Fry is awesome! I can now make food for everyone all at the same time instead of batches. Clean up has also been a breeze! We are so happy with this oven!!

Have yet to try all the features. One that is still confusing to me is how to heat the warming oven. The instructions on p. 29 could be more helpful: (1) can you use oven AND warming oven, or only warming oven? (2) see instruction #4: ™€œset desired temp™€: Is 200™€™ the warmest?

The internet is a funny place. Everyone with a beef goes there first. Satisfied people rarely do. So I was a little nervous when placing the order.But Home Depot reviews were good and this oven had the highest overall ratings of any they sold.it was also the most expensive - by a wide margin.But it arrived undamaged - even though the packaging left a lot to be desired.It fit perfectly.It works. And isnt that really the most important thing?Took off 1 star because:1: The controls are goofy and not intuitive. 2: If the oven is on, there is no displayed clock.3: It doesnt come with the air fry rack. Seems like something it should have included - especially for the price-point.But would I buy again? Probably. Lets hope I dont have to.

We love this oven! It was really easy to install, and worked perfectly right away. It has so many great features, but we especially like the air fryer function! It preheats so fast, and cooks everything evenly. I highly recommend this if you need an in-wall oven.

Nicest and one of the few that would fit my old opening. I opted to pay double the price for looks, the other brand looked like an apartment oven. It does not produce grill marks when cooking, extremely disappointed cuz the area underneath is just for storage. What a waste of space. I'd prefer the grill. First time I broiled, my house filled up with smoke that the alarm could have activated. It was a mess. And yes, I did use broiler pan. Some start settings could be more advanced. Cook time can mostly only be set AFTER the preheat, which takes forever. I need to do the first cleaning, and per instructions, it will take hours to do so oven will be unavailable and locked till it is done and cools down. The instruction manual is very detailed yet it doesn't say which number rack is best for different types of cooking.

The oven is beautiful and provides many more functions than we realized when ordering it. This is an excellent addition to our kitchen. We felt we were restricted by the small size of the space available. However, with all the things we can do with the oven, we are completely satisfied.

I've been a cook for more-than 50 years, and this oven is my all-time favorite!! It's amazing! My first experience with it was cooking a 12 Lb. turkey, which I convection roasted, It came out perfect! I purchased the air-fry tray and have cooked wings in it twice, so far. Love the Broiler. It works great as well.Very pleased with my purchase!

Only oven I could find with proper dimensions in white to replace old model. Controls are too sensitive, if you brush by it it turns oven on. Must Lock Screen. Air fryer rack should not be sold separately, should be included with the oven to avoid inconvenience of having to search it down. Seems to work like any other oven. Still new so not sure yet.
