Do NOT purchase the Frigidaire 30 in Electric Wall Oven and Microwave Combo

This has been the worst oven and microwave we have ever owned. It was expensive. This oven worked great for 3months. Then out of nowhere, It lost all power. We called Frigidaire. It takes 3 weeks for them to come out, order the part, and fix it. It continued to do this 2 more times. Then it just broke after only 5 days of being fixed. We have requested a new one, but they say it is repairable, so they will not replace it. We have had it a little over a year. It has broke with the same problem 4 times. We have been out a working oven and microwave for a total of 3 months. We are frustrated and will never purchase a Frigidaire product again.

We've had our wall oven microwave combo a little over a year now and it went out, no power. Oven performed well while it worked, but sad to say you pay over 3k for something that goes out shortly after the warranty expires. After reading many of the other reviews across the web, seems this is a common problem, "the ovens just stop working." You think with this many reviews stating the same problems, they would issue a recall, but they haven't and their reputation is no longer reputable. I tried calling customer service to the tune of basically they told me "tough luck!" Save yourself the heart ache and buy a different brand!

Excellent combo wall oven!

This oven replaced another brand combination oven microwave that started failing within a few years. First, the microwave went out and fixing it was going to cost over $1000. Then, it wouldn't broil any longer. We'd had enough and purchased this unit from Lowes. They also provided installation of the new oven and removal of the old. Their installers were excellent!

We built a house a had an LG oven combo installed. I last barely a year. So, we purchased this unit to place it. Reviews were great as were the features, which helped make the decision. We have loved it. Both the oven and microwave work much better than the LG - fast heating and great options. My son makes bread and likes the "proofing" mode, my wife likes the "dehydrator" feature. We are very happy.

We love our new combo unit. Really enjoy the fact that the microwave is also a full speed convection oven. Also the bottom oven has a cavity to pour water and act as a steam oven. Great to cook bread, croissant. Finally the air fryer feature and the temperature probe for meat cooking.

In addition to being used as a microwave oven, the microwave can be used as a toaster oven, including a small broiler top, as well. This is very personal and will come in handy when extra oven space is needed. My only complaint is that the defrost pre-settings are very limited, only for pounds of meat or poultry. But, there are separate settings, which can be used instead.

The microwave portion of the oven has never worked properly, always had to push the door closed extra hard, or it would turn on but not heat anything up. Decided I would deal with it because I thought I was beyond the warranty period as it was installed over a year past when it was purchased. But the other day I was using the microwave and the whole oven controls shut off. checked the breaker and it was not tripped. Display will not turn on at all. Used a tester and there is electricity to to the appliance. Called to talk to Frigidaire about it, and because its out of warranty, they won't do anything. Absolutely livid that I could pay over $3,000 for this appliance and only use it a handful of times, to be told Frigidaire will not stand behind its appliances. Terrible product that is completely useless at this point. Would not recommend.

I had a brand-new house constructed featuring the kitchen of my dreams. In the process, I chose a stunning appliance package, opting for a black wall microwave and oven combination from Frigidaire. Shortly after installation, I encountered problems with the microwave not heating properly; it would run without generating heat. I discovered that we had to push the door extra hard for it to heat food. A month ago, I returned home to find the entire unit without power. Since it was still under warranty, a repair technician was dispatched. Unfortunately, he couldn't resolve the issue and needed to order parts. After a two-week wait, he finally received the necessary parts (during which time I had to buy a countertop microwave). When he arrived today to fix the problem, the unit worked briefly before dying again. The technician informed me that he couldn't repair it and would report the situation to Frigidaire. They may send another technician for verification and possibly consider a replacement. As it stands, I am still without my wall oven and microwave. I designed my kitchen to include two ovens, so I have a backup, but I still had to purchase a countertop microwave. It may take at least a month or longer before I have a functioning unit again. Looking back, I see that many reviews mention similar issues. I cannot recommend this expensive model to anyone. We will have to wait and see if they honor their warranty. While the unit was beautiful when it worked, it has proven to be unreliable. My inexpensive countertop microwave has been far more dependable. I am extremely disappointed.

Recurring Failures

This unit was part of my new home build. We are generally happy with it when it works, but am disappointed that it has failed for the 3rd time in 18 months. The first time was the oven fan and was covered under warranty. The second failure, after a month of troubleshooting and a hefty bill, we found it was the microwave door switch that blew the fuse and cut power to the whole unit. The repair requires removing the unit from the wall, in my case a two man job. Now, this has happened again! Is this a problem with this model or was there a bad batch! Not a happy customer!

This product does not last ! This is my second one in two years and this one is out also not even a year old neither was the last one that they replaced with out a hassle but this time it been horrible. They have had the repair men put on nine parts and they ordered five more today to put on .Its been out and not working since before Christmas. It's a pure shame they make the consumer do without for that long .they try and cover it up with words but they dont seem to understand that's not working . I think as long as repair men get paid and the frigidaire people get their pay check it doesn't matter to them at all as to how long the consumer does without. You pay over three thousand for an appliance and it doesn't last . Dont quite understand why the first time they just sent out a replacement then this time they telling me they have to follow protocol. Bull malarkey. So I'm telling every one to stay away from frigidaire appliances . You cant even bother to try and talk to any one cause they try to feed you a line.

The first oven that was delivered had an issue with the oven door. It didn™€™t close all the way. It was just slightly ajar but the seal wasn™€™t sealing at the top. A replacement oven was ordered and delivered with the same issue. A third oven was ordered. When it arrived it had been pre-inspected and all was well. Some might say this was a bad experience but I am grateful for the great customer service. In the end we have the oven we wanted and it works great. We have tried many of the cooking modes and all work great. I love the volume control. I can turn off the annoying beeping when the microwave is done. It looks great and works great.

Wall oven installed very nicely how ever there was an issue with the Oven, The panel when using the over displays DOOR OPEN and is clearly closed. After contacting Frigidaire support which was kind of helpful they arranged a warranty support company to come out to trouble shoot issues. It appears that there is a recall on the switch on the oven door. The Tech said it was ok to use the oven but also noticed door gasket in top section is not glued to the door. Not a very good experience with the oven so far. Will be at least 3 to 4 weeks till part gets to the Support company then another week till install. I am in hopes that I do not run into issues with the cook top as well.

After 16 years it was time to replace our older microwave/oven combo unit and boy were we surprised at how technology has improved. We can now get rid of our air fryer and toaster oven on our counter as this new appliance replaces these. I can toast bread in my microwave (convection oven mode) and I can air fry with items all on one layer in a much bigger tray than my countertop model. The black stainless aesthetic is really nice as well. I will say that DIY installation was slightly difficult in terms of lifting this bad boy but once we got it in the opening the rest was a cinch.

This unit is a piece of Crap. We purchased it late August 2023 by 2nd week od December it was totally broken, absolutely nothing worked. A repairman came and did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, DIDN'T EVEN RUN A DIAGNOSTIC TEST, he ordered parts for something he NEVER EVEN TOUCHED. Here we are 4 months and $3000.00 later (01/20/2024) still don't have an oven nor microwave. We should have bought a Samsung like we started to. We will NEVER EVER BUY ANOTHER FRIGIDAIRE PRODUCT. THE PRODUCT, CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ACTUAL SERVICE SUCKS.

We had the same oven for over 20 years. It was small and from 1978. When had to remodel our kitchen due to a water leak at the fridge we started looking to upgrade our 1978 model to a newer one.
