Used for 3 months, never worked properly from the day it was installed. Now it wont even turn on!

The microwave portion of the oven has never worked properly, always had to push the door closed extra hard, or it would turn on but not heat anything up. Decided I would deal with it because I thought I was beyond the warranty period as it was installed over a year past when it was purchased. But the other day I was using the microwave and the whole oven controls shut off. checked the breaker and it was not tripped. Display will not turn on at all. Used a tester and there is electricity to to the appliance. Called to talk to Frigidaire about it, and because its out of warranty, they won't do anything. Absolutely livid that I could pay over $3,000 for this appliance and only use it a handful of times, to be told Frigidaire will not stand behind its appliances. Terrible product that is completely useless at this point. Would not recommend.

I had a brand-new house constructed featuring the kitchen of my dreams. In the process, I chose a stunning appliance package, opting for a black wall microwave and oven combination from Frigidaire. Shortly after installation, I encountered problems with the microwave not heating properly; it would run without generating heat. I discovered that we had to push the door extra hard for it to heat food. A month ago, I returned home to find the entire unit without power. Since it was still under warranty, a repair technician was dispatched. Unfortunately, he couldn't resolve the issue and needed to order parts. After a two-week wait, he finally received the necessary parts (during which time I had to buy a countertop microwave). When he arrived today to fix the problem, the unit worked briefly before dying again. The technician informed me that he couldn't repair it and would report the situation to Frigidaire. They may send another technician for verification and possibly consider a replacement. As it stands, I am still without my wall oven and microwave. I designed my kitchen to include two ovens, so I have a backup, but I still had to purchase a countertop microwave. It may take at least a month or longer before I have a functioning unit again. Looking back, I see that many reviews mention similar issues. I cannot recommend this expensive model to anyone. We will have to wait and see if they honor their warranty. While the unit was beautiful when it worked, it has proven to be unreliable. My inexpensive countertop microwave has been far more dependable. I am extremely disappointed.

Recurring Failures

This unit was part of my new home build. We are generally happy with it when it works, but am disappointed that it has failed for the 3rd time in 18 months. The first time was the oven fan and was covered under warranty. The second failure, after a month of troubleshooting and a hefty bill, we found it was the microwave door switch that blew the fuse and cut power to the whole unit. The repair requires removing the unit from the wall, in my case a two man job. Now, this has happened again! Is this a problem with this model or was there a bad batch! Not a happy customer!

This product does not last ! This is my second one in two years and this one is out also not even a year old neither was the last one that they replaced with out a hassle but this time it been horrible. They have had the repair men put on nine parts and they ordered five more today to put on .Its been out and not working since before Christmas. It's a pure shame they make the consumer do without for that long .they try and cover it up with words but they dont seem to understand that's not working . I think as long as repair men get paid and the frigidaire people get their pay check it doesn't matter to them at all as to how long the consumer does without. You pay over three thousand for an appliance and it doesn't last . Dont quite understand why the first time they just sent out a replacement then this time they telling me they have to follow protocol. Bull malarkey. So I'm telling every one to stay away from frigidaire appliances . You cant even bother to try and talk to any one cause they try to feed you a line.

The first oven that was delivered had an issue with the oven door. It didn™€™t close all the way. It was just slightly ajar but the seal wasn™€™t sealing at the top. A replacement oven was ordered and delivered with the same issue. A third oven was ordered. When it arrived it had been pre-inspected and all was well. Some might say this was a bad experience but I am grateful for the great customer service. In the end we have the oven we wanted and it works great. We have tried many of the cooking modes and all work great. I love the volume control. I can turn off the annoying beeping when the microwave is done. It looks great and works great.

Wall oven installed very nicely how ever there was an issue with the Oven, The panel when using the over displays DOOR OPEN and is clearly closed. After contacting Frigidaire support which was kind of helpful they arranged a warranty support company to come out to trouble shoot issues. It appears that there is a recall on the switch on the oven door. The Tech said it was ok to use the oven but also noticed door gasket in top section is not glued to the door. Not a very good experience with the oven so far. Will be at least 3 to 4 weeks till part gets to the Support company then another week till install. I am in hopes that I do not run into issues with the cook top as well.

High Quality Wall Oven

We've only had our new Frigidaire wall oven for a few weeks. But so far, the oven temperature has been spot on and everything has worked as it should. We wish the menu could be customized to fit our preferences but finding the correct choices is not difficult. Hopefully it will be dependable and last a long time.

We ordered our new unit and are so thrilled with the ease and information one the control panel. There are so many options to use as far as baking, air fry, defrosting, convection, etc. We looked for a long time to be sure this was the best for us and so far it has been great!

After 16 years it was time to replace our older microwave/oven combo unit and boy were we surprised at how technology has improved. We can now get rid of our air fryer and toaster oven on our counter as this new appliance replaces these. I can toast bread in my microwave (convection oven mode) and I can air fry with items all on one layer in a much bigger tray than my countertop model. The black stainless aesthetic is really nice as well. I will say that DIY installation was slightly difficult in terms of lifting this bad boy but once we got it in the opening the rest was a cinch.

This unit is a piece of Crap. We purchased it late August 2023 by 2nd week od December it was totally broken, absolutely nothing worked. A repairman came and did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, DIDN'T EVEN RUN A DIAGNOSTIC TEST, he ordered parts for something he NEVER EVEN TOUCHED. Here we are 4 months and $3000.00 later (01/20/2024) still don't have an oven nor microwave. We should have bought a Samsung like we started to. We will NEVER EVER BUY ANOTHER FRIGIDAIRE PRODUCT. THE PRODUCT, CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ACTUAL SERVICE SUCKS.

We had the same oven for over 20 years. It was small and from 1978. When had to remodel our kitchen due to a water leak at the fridge we started looking to upgrade our 1978 model to a newer one. This oven / air fryer /microwave combo took us from 1978 into the future and made me feel like George Jetson. A touch of a button makes any function easy and amazing!!

I never knew I could love a microwave or oven as much as I do this one. The microwave reheats food to perfection using the preset modes. It even did an amazing job reheating pizza! The fact that the microwave can double as a small oven will be very useful as well when having large family dinners. The oven has done everything Frigidaire promises. The no reheat setting made a quick meal for the grandkids even faster. It does a great job baking items on convection bake as well. I look forward to trying out the ™€œturkey™€ setting on Thanksgiving and the ™€œair sousvide™€. I did purchase the air fryer tray from Frigidaire™€™s website that is sold separately and was not disappointed. It allowed me to easily use the ™€œair fry™€ setting to make perfectly crisp potatoes. I look forward to many years of making fantastic meals for my family with this unit.

- [ ] Aug 14th after 13 and a half weeks (of oven being installed and working properly oven stopped working mid baking at a temp of 375* It was running for less than 20 min.- [ ] Aug 23rd first attempt at the oven repair. They sent one man to repair a wall oven. He took the front of the oven off. Checked everything out then said that he could not get the oven out of the wall by himself. And that he had to order a part. He told me it was the relay board that needed replaced. Then the unfortunate news that it will take 10 days for the part to come in. - [ ] Sep 16th got a call that the part came in damaged and had to order it again and reschedule our appointment. - [ ] Sep 19th Two men came out. 27 days from initial part order. 19 working days. They claim they could not get the oven out of the wall? Later that day husband and young son took oven out with ease. So again had to reschedule another appointment after WE took the oven out of the wall for them. - [ ] Sep 27th took another 8 days for the same two men to come out again. They replaced several parts all parts replaces included at the end. After not being able to figure it out, and calling the tech help desk at Frigidaire they now said that they needed yet another part. Left oven out of the wall claiming they were not allowed to move it or put it back in the wall. Must leave it the way they found it. ( mind you its out of the wall because they claim they couldn™€™t get it out.) - [ ] Oct 16th 20 days / 14 working days later got a call that the part yet again came in damaged and they had to order another one. Part they claimed came in damaged would be the main harness.part 5304530389 .. not sure how wires come in damaged? Must reschedule again. - [ ] Oct 19th same two men come out oven is STILL out of the wall in the middle of the floor. They worked on it for quite a while, then again on the phone with tech support. Now they claim that a fuse that was replaced at the last visit is damaged. So still no working oven. They gave us a case file number and said there is nothing more they can do. We must reach out to Frigidaire again. Or they will be reaching out to us. As of now the oven had worked for 13.5 weeks and has been out of service for 62 days as of Oct 19th - [x] April 7th oven/micro was installed bought around 2/8/2023 but not installed right away kitchen was not ready for it had it held at the store until instal Parts replaced: - [ ] Main board. 5530453096 - [ ] Left head interlock. A23242801 - [ ] Right head assembly. A23243301 - [ ] Main harness 5304530389 - [ ] Fuse on back of unit. 318647300 - [ ] Relay board. 5304530411 - [ ] Relay on back of Micro. A18493801 - [ ] Another fuse they claim is now the problem? - [ ] Oct 26th Got an email stating that our new replacement oven was shipped to the delivery person- [ ] Thurs Nov 9th called Frigidaire to find out where our oven is? Still no oven. Was not he phone and hold for almost an hour. They gave me a number to the delivery/installation co Fereye 319-777-7182. Called them at 5.25 pm same night. They told me they do not have my oven and that they don™€™t even service our area. And that this happened often. Told me to call Frigidaire back? - [ ] Fri Nov10th once again sat on hole for over an hour. ( along with being in a text chat?) they told me that the oven was sent to the delivery place. Same thing that i was told the night before. I asked to speak with management, was denied this. Said they would put it in the request for a call back. This was at 1:30 pm plenty of ti me in the day. I asked for a call back that day! NOTHING!!!! My oven is missing.. Thanksgiving is coming up™€¦ and i have not had my brand new oven since AUGUST 14TH! - [ ] Monday Nov 13th.. got a generic email stating that my oven has been shipped to the delivery/installation? ( still no contract with management)and this is the same email i got back on Oce 26th? - [ ] 11-15-2023 9:04am Jose finally picked up at 9:11am. 9:25 Jose said we are slated to have instal on the 27th. I told him that was unacceptable since i have been without my oven since Aug 14th and that is after thanksgiving. They need to come up with something better. 9:40 he gave me the number for the delivery company which their mailbox is full and cannot take messages or answer the phone. Once again asked fro speak with management. The new delivery company is EDCNAL and their number is 609-699-7043. When i told Jose that its not right for the customers to have to spend all this time on the phone making calls and finding out where our product is he also called the delivery co to also find out that the mailbox is full no one to answer calls. he suggested just waiting???? And let another 2 weeks go by until the tentative scheduled delivery. which i only know about because he said that is whats in the file. No one from anywhere has even contacted me. Jose just got back on the line and told me the delivery placed changed again after i asked him to check and make sure they service our area. New company is CRST 833-491-2713 No less than 4 times on this call i have asked to speak with management .. every time i get the run around. Finally at 10:10am i was being transferred, however jose said they are not going to tell me anything different than what he has told me. - [ ] 10:00 am a manager Joseph picked up.. put me on hold to read the file - [ ] So mr manager Joseph said there is nothing that can be done.. just sit and wait for the delivery company.. i have been sitting and waiting for a working oven since Aug 14th. We spent almost 10,000 on appliances

After much research, we chose this to replace a very troublesome Wirlpool model that came with the house ... it was only 6 years old but I had tried multiple repairs which proved to be a waste. We have been using this much more often that we did the old one because it has so many useful features, including the "air fry" oven option. The oven has proved flawless. My wife bakes deserts and the like while I do nearly all the meal preparation. The temperature was always stable and accurate. Preheat is quite rapid. My wife is very pleased with her baking results, especially compared to the problem-prone original. The delivery team were excellent and positioned my new oven up on and installation rack that I had built. Installation was easy for me due to my prior experience. Bottom line is that we couldn't be happier with our choice. A surprise benefit ... this oven is SO quiet!

Worst Purcahse Ever

Purchased the unit new in January 2023 and already by the Summer of 2023 we began to have issues with it. The microwave on the unit would intermittently not work and we would need to turn the unit on/off several times before it would actually heat something. Had a repair tech come out to fix it and within days of that visit it began doing the same thing and then the unit stopped having power entirely. We will be on our 5th service call and at the time of this writing it is still not working.
