My 2nd purchase of a Frigidaire refrigerator. First one is almost 20 years old and still works like new. It™€™s In our garage. New one looks great and has what I need and leaves out the stuff you don™€™t really need. Love the ice makers - no need to worry about flawed design and constant defrosting and not enough ice like my Samsung.

New Frigidaire French door refrigerator

Love my new refrigerator with the dual ice makers. Only issue is that the left door doesn™€™t close properly. It doesn™€™t catch the bracket at the top to make the door close shut.

Looks great, only a few drawbacks

We really like the look of the new refrigerator, and it fits better in the kitchen than our last one that stuck out too much. Our only negatives so far are than it makes higher pitched noises that are not as easy to get used to as the old one. Also, the ice dispenser shoots ice out in all directions so some doesn't get in the cup regardless of how wide. I'd like the freezer to open a bit more as well. It makes our food cold though, and the dual ice makers are convenient. We can fit all we need, and the lighting is good.

The refrigerator works well so far. It has only been 1 week. The black stainless is pretty. Looks more like a dark gray to me. My only complaint would be the ice cubes. They are small so they melt quickly.

Previous owners of the house left behind an old. stainless steel refrigerator. It looked huge and out of place in the kitchen. All our other appliances are black so getting a black stainless steel refrigerator that is counter depth transformed our kitchen. We are very pleased.

Black stainless steel scratches easily

We had specific requirements for the refrigerator that we were looking for. We were trying to match our black stainless steel appliances and we also needed counter depth. It would have been nice to have been able to get one without the ice and water dispenser, but they don't make too many of those anymore and they did not have one in black stainless steel that was counter depth. The other thing I would caution someone about if they are contemplating the black stainless steel appliances, is that it seems to scratch very easily. We had to send the first one back because there was a scratch on the front of the door. When they delivered the second one, there was a minor scratch on the side. We plan to be very careful with it. The other thing I would say about this particular model is that the shelves on the inside are very close together, so you can't stack things too high. There is also no specific area for a butter dish. We've only had it for about 2 weeks and it seems that it is freezing some of my produce that's not in the drawers. I buy large packages of spinach and it froze the spinach towards the back of the refrigerator. I'm going to try to make some adjustments.

It™€™s nice. The freezer storage could be a little bigger, even for a household of four people. We weren™€™t really given any instructions regarding the plastic pieces that can in the bag when it was delivered but thankfully we haven™€™t needed them. Other than that it™€™s pretty nice, even though we don™€™t have the water line set up yet so I cannot comment on that aspect. It would look a lot nicer if we could remove all the plastic packaging that™€™s stuck to it but that doesn™€™t affect how it works or anything. The only other thing is it randomly makes a really loud noise at the most inconvenient times (like when everyone is sleeping) and it™€™s not every day so we™€™re not sure why it™€™s doing that.

two (2) ice cube makers is one of the best features. Couple of issues, the plasticwrap that is placed on the metal is impossibly hard to take off that the installers gave up and the plastic is sticking out at lots of random places. The main fridge doors squeak, so i am going to have to get the wrenches out to adjust them (i don't do youtube videos so i can't add them to this review). The fridge setting was 37 degrees F and somehow the eggs and drinks were frozen, so i don't think the gauge was calibrated correctly.

The fridge is exactly what I wanted. A place for tall items inside, second ice maker, adjustable shelves and the overall design is excellent. Highly recommend. Just be aware that installation and removal of the old unit was not available.

Overall we really like the unit. Works well and love once again having an ice maker. I would have given it 5 stars, but the freezer capacity is less than our old Samsung. Would be better without the "bins" in the freezer. Other tan that, would recommend.
