Installation was not an issue for me as an aircraft technician, but the plastic wrap is a chore to remove. It's covered by the edges of inner liners or seals, requiring meticulous cutting with an exacto knife to avoid damage to any visible part of the black stainless. The front "Anti-tip legs were not helpful since the were almost flush with the floor even when fully raised. I had to modify the plastic feet to give them some space to allow leveling the unit. Yes, I did leave a tiny bit of rearward lean to aid in the doors closing themselves. The hull insulation foam leaked out of many places around the seams of the plastic inner body panels. I had to clean up a number of areas. They just looked sloppy and I can see voids of insulating foam between the liners and outer shell. Makes me question what I can't see. There was a scrape and dent on the side body near the rear midway up. Unsure where this occurred since the delivery guys unboxed it prior to bringing it in the house. I asked them to just drop off so I could assemble and install to allow me a good look at it. Luckily the dent is hidden by cabinets. The front fascia has a fisheye on the dye coating applied to the stainless (I have the black stainless model) right about midway up each French door at the edges across from each other. They are the only two blemishes to be found but happen to be right in the line of sight where you grab the handles to open the doors. I looks like the tinted lacquer did not adhere due to some contamination on the stainless. I've reached out to Nebraska Furniture Mart but have not heard back from them yet.The air distribution vent at the top will freeze foods if placed too close, forcing you to leave some unusable space unless it's a solid product. Yogurt, cottage cheese, liquids have frozen. My unit is set at 37 degrees. I'll try 38 but don't want to go up much more because I want my stuff chilled. Seems to be good everywhere else though.Freezer is nice and big but the second ice maker didn't start producing ice for 2 days. I was about to call for a replacement when they finally started dropping. Took 3 days to fill the freezer ice tray. Granted it's huge which is not an issue for me but I don't understand why the delay? The fridge ice maker/dispenser began after about 6 hours and was not very quick either. Took 2 days to fill the bucket with minimal use of ice, only because we were used to not having any after our previous fridge broke and we waited a week for the new one, using a standby in the garage that did not have a working ice maker. We like it for the most part, just some of these 'beginning' issues made us a bit disgruntled. Still want some compensation for the dent, scrape, and the imperfections on the front doors though. Dent/scrape would be the point of purchase, the imperfections would be on Frigidaire. So, what can you do for me?
