The ice maker was leaking water 5 months after purchase. We somehow fixed it and cancelled the appliance store warranty service. I wouldn™€™t have expected such an issue still in the first 6 months of purchase, hard to say how it will stand up to long term use.

I have had my eye on the French door refrigerator for about a year ! Finally after a year and for my birthday I was told to go get it! It is just what I expected.. roomy with places for everything, the middle door is a game changer for us!! It has the best ice cubes & is very quiet! There are tons of room in the freezer too!! It is just a great refrigerator with a great price point as well!!

Had a Samsung fridge go out over weekend and was given advise that Frigidaire was a better brand. Like the fridge so far, however the middle drawer is freezing everything even after setting to the warmest temp.

So far it's been a great buy. We love everything about it. They only issue is the loudness of the icemaker when it's making ice and dropping it into the internal ice holder. It's not horrible but it can be startling if you are not expecting it.

From the lighting to the Crushed Ice, - We love the new French Door Refrigerator. The self closing doors are great, as we were always setting off the door alarm on the old one. There is also more room for the milk in the right door. The crisper are cool - or whatever temp you want, and there is tons of room in the freezer.

We replaced our 1995 model GE refrigerator with this model. I wish we had done it when the kids still lived at home because all the extra space for snacks is amazing. It is very quiet which is nice too. Can™€™t wait to see how much this saves me on my energy bill.

We've only had this fridge for about two weeks, but are happy with it so far. I had to place two chats to Frigidaire, for questions not address in the scanty owner's materials provided. Both questions were answered promptly - so I am please with the company's support. The 'called for' temperature on the door panel, and the actual temp inside are off by about 4 degrees, so you will want to place an ACCURATE thermometer inside to check those temps. I'm hoping this unit lasts longer than the six years of my last one, another brand, which did not make my Life Good.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE!

THIS REVIEW IS FOR AN AN 18 CU. FT. REFRIGERATOR WITH WITH A TOP FREEZER. IT WAS DELIVERED TO MY TENANTS WITH A DENT ON THE DOOR, AND A WAVY IMPERFECTION FROM THE FACTORY ON THE LEFT SIDE. THE DENT WAS NOT DONE BY THE DELIVERY CREW, (WHO INCIDENTALLY DID A GREAT JOB), BECAUSE THE DENT WAS THERE FROM THE FACTORY. BOUGHT THE REFRIGERATOR FROM LOWES IN DERBY, CT., PURCHASED AN EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM LOWES, AND CONTACTED THE WARRANTY COMPANY WITHIN THE 48HR WINDOW. THEY DID NOT HONOR THE EXTENDED WARRANTY BECAUSE THEY SAID IT WAS AN ISSUE THAT SHOULD BE HANDLED BY FRIGIDAIRE. I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT THEY WOULD NOT TAKE IT BACK BECAUSE I DID NOT PURCHASE IT WITH A LOWE'S CARD. CONTACTED FRIGIDAIRE AND THEY DIDN'T DO ANYTHING BECAUSE THEY SAID THE MODEL WAS DISCONTINUED. THEY SAID TO CALL LOWE'S!! CALLED LOWE'S IN DERBY AND SPOKE TO A RUDE ASSOCIATE WHO SAID A MANAGER WOULD RETURN MY CALL, BUT NO ONE CALLED ME. I WAS OFFERED A MEASLY $50 LOWES GIFT CARD. I CANCELLED THE EXTENDED WARRANTY AND KEPT THE REFRIGERATOR BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO INCONVENIENCE MY TENANTS ANY FURTHER. I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM A COMPANY AS LARGE AS LOWE'S. I'VE HEARD COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE COMPANY, BUT THOUGHT THEY WERE ISOLATED INCIDENTS. OBVIOUSLY THE COMPANY CULTURE NEEDS AN OVERHAUL, AND THEY CAN START WITH THE DERBY, CT STORE!

This replaced a LG that had the faulty compressor. We finally decided it was time for a replacement. We settled on this model due to the design being one of the more reliable for one with a freezer drawer. Our LG took 24 hrs almost to get cold after turning on the first time, this one was cold within a couple hours! It™€™s been great so far, everything seems of solid build quality.

Our previous refrigerator suddenly went bad on us around 1am. Water was leaking all over the kitchen and dining room floor. Tech came out noon that day and said it was shot, The computer system had failed. It took a week to have this delivered, but well worth the wait. It is so big and versatile for everyday needs and party time. The water tastes clean, it's so quiet, and the temps in all areas are perfect. It is stunning to see when you go into the kitchen. I also love that you don't see fingerprints. Big timesaver! We highly recommend this model .

I love the water and ice feature and all the shelving and storage. The only thing I would change is the depth of the cheese, cold cut drawers. They aren™€™t quite deep enough for wedges of cheese. However, there is the pull out drawer below that can be a freezer or refrigerator drawer, so I use that! Overall a terrific refrigerator!

Having that extra drawer is awesome and I don't know why I didn't get French doors before but they make a world of difference. A great fridge ruined by early leaking and poor customer service

Has been leaking water out of the ice machine since 6 months after purchase. Spent a few iterations trying the self help remediation steps which resolved the issue temporarily, but then reccured after about a month. After spending cycles doing self repairs, I finally tried to file a warranty claim after 14 months of owning the product but customer support was very strict. Certainly understand the policy, but would have hopes there would have been an exception for an issue that started after 6 months. Shame that a small issue is ruining an otherwise great fridge but that the manufacturer will not stand behind their product.

Compared to the competition, this model has some unique features. The crisper compartments have filters that prolong the life of produce. Shelves and drawers seem to be constructed to last and the ice maker always produces ice on demand. It doesn™€™t go overboard with fancy wireless technology, just the useful features that I hope will result in many years of worry-free service.

After 21 years our previous refrigerator finally quit working and we found ourselves back in the market looking for a reliable yet hardy refrigerator that could functional yet appealing and we found it! My wife and I are no strangers to Fridgidaire and their quality products. When we found our current model we were not only amazed at the room inside for food storage but the other amenities that it offered such as an air filtration system as well as a water filter. The ease of temperature control is incredible and easy from the console on the front of the refrigerator, we can regulate all three zones (refrigerator, custom flex temp drawer, and freezer) to our desired cooling level. The refrigerator smells great inside every time we open it, no more stale smells or ghostly smelly remnants of meals past are present in our current Frigidaire refrigerator! Furthermore, the water filtration system has it™€™s perks as well, we live in Chicago, Illinois where the Lake Michigan water is our source of sustenance. The water I have tasted leaves no ™€œaftertaste™€ of chemicals used in the purification of our city water every time I fill a glass from the convenient water dispenser on the front of the refrigerator and the lockout feature to prevent little children from playing with the dispenser is invaluable for preventing ™€œaccidents™€ and unnecessary cleanup on the floor.
