Worst fridge ever

Great working unit

This is a solid unit. it keeps my food cold and has very little maintenance. If you are looking for a bit smaller unit for an apartment or studio then this is the unit for you. Oh, it also comes with the option of an ice maker or not. I don't use much ice so I opted for the unit without so I could have more space.

Never buying GE again

My landlords purchased new for my apartment in June of 2019, 2 years and 2 months later I had to defrost because the freezer stopped cooling. The fridge worked for 6 months more and again stopped cooling. I am sick of losing food, money and time on this $1000 faulty appliance. Product is heading for landfill and will not be purching another GE product ever. Model # GPE12FGKCWW. Do not waste your time folks, try another brand.

A small but sufficient refrigerator. It only uses around $35.00 worth of electricity a year, according to the paperwork, which is very efficient, to say the least. It keeps the temperature at 38 degrees which is good. It doesn't need to run that long either, it cools down fast. Let me please add, I became a genuine Christian around 2 years ago so let me say, Jesus died for us on the cross to pay for our sins.

This refrigerator is perfect for small apartment living. It fits in my small kitchen but is roomy enough on the inside to keep food for guests and visitors. It is easy to clean and maintain with the easy to remove glass shelves.

Freezer is not working properly.

This freezer is not working properly. Ice cream and bread remain soft after having refrigerator for less than a month. When I called the appliance store where I bought it, the customer service rep said it will take 4 weeks to get repairman. I spoke with store manager who said she would exchange the refrigerator for anew one. When the new one was delivered, the knob or roller to level the refrigerator was broken and delivery men could not fix it. I am still using the original refrigerator which has a freezer that doesn't freeze very well.

Great Refrigerator

This is a wonderful refrigerator for a small Manhattan kitchen. I've had it for 2 weeks and so far no issues. It's whisper quiet and keeps everything nice and cold. My last GE model lasted 23 years. The freezer is quite large. However, I would have preferred that the shelve in freezer was even and didn't dip down on one side. It takes away an inch of width space on top layer of the shelve. I also have to bend down a little more to reach into the refrigerator, since newer models are made this way. You also have to be sure that items on the bottom shelve are pushed all the way in, since the middle storage bin on the door will prevent the door from closing all the way. I've been a GE fan for a long time and hope to get many years out of this model.

Bigger then it looks

Has a lot more room then you would think by it's cubic feet. Extra room in the doors is nice. Gave it 4 stars because of the price. A lot of money for a smaller then average no frills frig. We ordered this one because it is more narrow then most.

This one seems to work. The first one was defective and not cooling well. This will cycle on and off. When off the temp in the frig is 41 and when cool temp 37/38. I liked the Profile I had. The door shelves are clear plastic and they will scratch easily. The freezer is fine. I don't lije the draw/bibs. They are not on a track or anything so when fillec with produce and you pull it out it tips and that is very disconcerting. Also, the shelves are glass. There are no wire shelves. I imagine with this glass set up the cold air doesn't circulate that much.
