Poor Freezer Door Gasket Sealing

So far so good. Freezer and refrigerator are at prescribed temperatures. But the freezer door is very easily left open as either the gasket suction or the magnets are weak (or Both-not sure). Came out to garage to an open door this am. Much food defrosted. Ugh!

Love our new refrigerator. Extremely spacious in both the freezer and refrigerator section. It was a replacement for and old GE freezer on the bottom and it's has twice the space in the freezer! It is for our garage and it fits perfectly without taking up as much room as the old one.

This is the only model I could find with divided shelves in the door, which I love but fridge is very noisy. It runs high 80% of the time. Manual said it would if fridge is opened frequently. I live alone. I do not open the door frequently. It's very annoying.

My old refrigerator was 26 years old so it was time to replace it even though it worked fine. I wanted a basic black refrigerator that was a little bigger than what I had and this was just about the only refrigerator available. I am disappointed that the freezer compartment at the highest setting isn't as cold as I think it should be. I am also disappointed with some shelf space; for example, you can only fit a stick of butter in the butter compartment, not a tub of butter, which is what I buy. Also the meat compartment and fruit and vegetable bins are smaller than in my old refrigerator.

We are so far extremely satisfied with our Top Freezer GE Refrigerator. Our experience in purchasing this item could not have gone any better. Shout out to our dealer that sold us this item! Lytton's Appliance in Wichita, Ks. Bob was the best customer service person. I called and purchased this product site unseen. He listened to all my needs, concerns, measurements, color and availability to be delivered immediately. The item was delivered & installed the next day and our old refrigerator was hauled off all in less than 30 min. It looks great and so far is functioning perfectly! My only disappointment is that there is not a light in the freezer. We love the look & size. It appears to be replacing our old one perfectly in the area built for our refrigerator. We hope it lasts as long as our last one-25 years!

The biggest issue is that the fan in freezer continues to make a loud nosie as vibrating. we've had two appointments and third one scheduled. i have to say the compartment for fan looks cheaply made and seems grommets continue to come loose. otherwise, its fine. Oh, yes and the freezer door pops open and closes after u close fridge door. another poor design
