noisy wall oven

i have had this oven for almost a year have had the appliance people out they replaced the fans but it is extremely noisy at times i have never heard a oven this noisy very annoying I'm ready for them to just replace it

User friendly control panel, beautiful design

Bought as part of a total kitchen remodel with other KitchenAid appliances. It looks and performs very well. Love the heavy duty slideout shelf and the room! Also, the control panel provides very useful feedback in helping us set and use the oven's features.

A scratch of a disaster!

A brand new product and a big disappointment. The new oven was scratched. 4 service trips later and we have other problems. The door can't be replaced. Each part that makes the door must be ordered. Also, these come built. So new parts don't line up properly with the pre built over. Make sure all the packaging comes off. The scratch was hidden beneath tape. Hum??? Have the delivery person open and check it out before leaving! Love the color. Hope to love the oven, but not there yet. Waiting for a new oven to be delivered.

Bought the Kitchenaid KOSE500ebs and found perefction. I was new to the "convection" table and thought there would be a great learning curve. No... not in the least. The "Even-Heat True Convection" was simple and easy to use and understand and the results speak and taste for themselves You hit a homerun with this one.

Kitchenaid isn't the same

We have a Kitchenaid mixer that we purchased about 25 years ago. We had to have some parts replaced a few years ago but otherwise a great mixer! Based on the Kitchenaid rep, we purchased this oven and a Kitchenaid french door frig for our new home in 2018. I have had a repairman out no less than 4 times for both appliances! They can't seem to figure out why the frig keeps freezing food in the back and the convection fan in the oven was so loud when cooling down it had to be replaced. SO disapppointing! I will think twice about Kitchenaid in the future.

Oven has never reached baking temperature

The oven has never reached baking temperature in spite of a 350 degree readout. Tech was out this morning for second visit and he replaced the broiler element. He said that is Whirlpool's directive. He said the oven was working, but after he left we let the oven cool down from his broiler test. Then we put the bake on at 350 degrees and waited for it to reach level temperature, which was pretty quickly, at least for the readout. We then put a Pirex baking bowl with water in the oven. The readout maintained 350, but the oven was never close. After two hours the water was still not boiling. Experiment was terminated. Have now contacted authorized repair company to return to figure out what is wrong. These appliances are now at four months after delivery and we still have not been able to use the oven.

Uneven baking

Have had this oven for about three weeks and I find that for precise baking the temps are too uneven. The owners manual says to trust the temp as displayed but for something like popovers the temp could not have been anywhere near the 425 displayed. If I upped the calibration it got better for twenty minutes then down again I used an oven thermometer. With the fan going on and off on regular bake the popovers did not have the consistent high heat needed. For two grand I expect better.

Advanced features in a great looking oven.

I've had this oven for a few weeks now and I am very pleased with it so far. Having replaced a very good 20-year old Jenn Air, it's taking a little while to learn the advanced capabilities of this unit. I have used the convection modes and the probe feature and they are very effective and impressive. This oven makes it a lot easier to get great results with less attention and worry.

We just remodeled our kitchen and chose all KitchenAid appliances. This microwave has a great look inside and out. I love the large window in the door. It is very easy to see anything in the oven. I have not tried many of the features on this unit yet including the convection "Recipe Conversion" feature but have been happy with the results so far. I do like the "roller glide" shelf which is very handy for working with items without having to take them out of the oven. The biggest concern I have about these appliances is scratches. I would love to be able to find "Black Stainless" touch-up paint or a touch-up pen as I have already found a few very small nicks/scratches in some of the appliances after only 3 weeks.

Doesn't keep a set temperature, EVER!

I have never ever hated an appliance like this oven. If I set it at 425 degrees, and it signals it is ready. Without opening the door, I cancel, push bake, and 425. Tonight it said 395. This is when the actual digital number said 425. I have had this thing for 6 months. I used to enjoy baking so much for family, but I can not depend on this $2,299. oven. I bake cookies for 5 minutes, check the temperature. It is saying 350 on the digital read, but it I cancel, bake and 350, it comes up that it's actually 295. The person who said it took two hours for a baked potato is not exaggerating. I am so disappointed in this oven. We saved 2 years to get this horrible oven.

poorly insulated; the paint is bubbling next to the oven

I bought this oven a year ago and am not happy with it. I rarely use it in the summer time as it emits so much heat into the kitchen. The wall next to the oven of the newly painted kitchen is beginning to bubble from the heat. Obviously there is little to no insulation; at the price I paid I should not be experiencing this problem! I will never buy Kitchenaid again.

Poor Performance

we got this from Sears outlet about a year and a half ago. fantastic price for what looked like a new unit. right off the bat my wife, who is a good cook, started complaining about under cooked in the middle and overcooked top on items she was cooking. she has struggled ever sence to get a good uniform cook on her cakes, casseroles, and other baked goods. now, in the last month I have burned up two thermal fuses. not sure what is going on there.

Shattered glass

This is absolutely unacceptable! We had four kitchen aid appliances delivered on May 1, 2017 and there has been something wrong with each one!! This is crazy....shattered inside glass....I have small grandchildren....sure glad that didn't come over earlier! It is a big mess!

Not as expected

Very disappointed. I do not like the heat that is blown into the kitchen. Also does not cook evenly. Had to add 15 minutes to my time while baking a pie. Finally raised temperature and added 5 minutes. Ended up burning. Looks beautiful from the outside. I am stuck so will have to learn to use it. Should have researched more ovens. Really wanted the black stainless.
