silence is golden

Our new bosch dishwasher replaced our 18 year old one which was flawless until it finally died. this one is also super quiet. It was easy to install with great installation instructions. The top cutlery shelf is great and saves space. Love the red light which shines onto the floor to indicate that it is on. The only issue experience was a problem with the control buttons. After calling customer service, I was immediately connected to a technician who promptly solved the problem and just had me do a reset on the machine--5 minutes and good to go. Good job Bosch!!!

Replacement for my 14 year old Bosch

I bought this as a replacement for my 14 year old Bosch which decided not to wash dishes anymore. While maybe slightly quieter than my old Bosch my old Bosch (SHX55M05UC) was better than this unit in every other way, from the wash options to the way dishes can be loaded in the racks and the overall solid feel. I bought this online, in hindsight I should have physically looked at the different models and spent more to get a better model. The dishwasher does clean everything perfectly though so it is worth keeping.

This dishwasher has not dried the dishes from day one. I tried to get in contact with Bosch with no luck. I was on hold for 45 minutes and finally just gave up. I bought it from Lowe's with an extended warranty. I called them and no luck there either. I would not recommend buying this dishwasher or any appliance from Lowe's ever. The customer service is horrible.

Well after fourty-seven years of home ownership, I bought the Bosch dish washer. Completely satisfied is how I view my purchase. It's quiet, versatile with it's three racks, and does an outstanding job of cleaning. All I can say is that it's about time that I own a Bosch appliance.

We like the 100 series dishwasher. We have only had it for a couple months but in general it has been a good machine. Hopefully it will last in the long term. Here are the pros and cons so far: Pro: - cleans well - quiet - has a lot of capacity - we like the top rack Con - does not dry very well - even on extra dry with products like jet dry. This mostly occurs with plastic items - The set-up of the racks is a little funky so it is hard to figure out how to fill the thing in the best way

We couldn't be more satisfied with our new Bosch dishwasher. Difference between night and day compared to our old, Brand X dishwasher. We installed it ourself with no problems, thanks to online videos. Our new Bosch dishwasher works so much quieter than our previous dishwasher. It also does a much better job cleaning the dishes and in a shorter amount of time.

Second one we've had. First in prior house but had only one year with it. This is our subsequent house to replace a noisier builders dishwasher Both are quiet but the silverware basket are too small. we reused the larger one from first unit but don't have one for the second unit.

So far, this new dishwasher is outperforming the old one. It consistently cleans all the dishes, it's relatively quiet, and it fits plenty to last a full day+ of cooking and eating. The design is sleek and simple, so it matches our other branded appliances. I've been unable to get the delay start function to work, despite videos and instruction manuals, which is disappointing, as I prefer to run it during off-peak hours.

Our plastic comes out soaking wet with pools of water even though we put it on sanirinse and heated dry settings and use a rinse aid. It is much worse than our old dishwasher that was 15 years old. Also, there's an awful smell if we don't open the dishwasher to air out when it's finished.

Got this dishwasher in December and we are loving it! Super quiet so the little red dot projected to the floor is great to see that it is running. The 3rd tray is very practical for silverware and other cooking utensils. Run time is great and it cleans our dishes very well - can really recommend!

We've only had the dishwasher for a little over a month. So far everything is fine. Need to make adjustments on loading from our old machine. Very much like the silverware rack. With the additon of the drying additive sample supplied, the dishes look great. Our old machine needed to have dried egg cleaned off plate. This one does a good job.

Bosch Dishwasher

I have had this appliance for two years. While it has 3 shelves and is large I still have excess water dripping from the top of the arm after running. There is no heating element to dry dishes so the water has to be hot to finish the job. Calling a service tomorrow to check connections.

Very quiet compared to the whirlpool that it replaced. The adjustable tines and racks make loading unusual sized pieces a plus. You can place plastic on the lower levels .

Cleans well, does not dry too well. The rinse agent must be added or there's always some pooling at various spots. Other than that, the washer does it job of washing the dishes well.

My wife and I purchased the Bosch SHXM4AY52N after much research.We are so pleased with all the control layouts,features and stylish looks that blended so well with our current kitchen appliances.Our dishes etc. come out so clean and we can barely hear this washer run.Also being made in U.S.A. means you can always get parts and service should it ever be needed.

God but E24 error code problem

Love machine for quiet running, easy to load and cleans well BUT the persistent E24 error code comes up about monthly no matter what we do. I have to pull out the wet/dry vac and suck out the drain pump at bottom and the air gap at the sink.

I was amazed at how quiet the diswasher is, doesnt distract while running. I was also skeptical about not rinsing dishes and silverware before placing in dishwasher. Even with dried egg yoke everything comes out super clean.

This machine works great, when I was ready to purchase a dishwasher I read all the reviews out there and ordered this one. I like the 3 racks the only thing I would change is the bottom rack configuration it is a little difficult to arrange some of the larger items because the tines are too close and at an angle.
