I love the washer and dryer. I™€™ve had issues with having the doors open correctly for my space. Also now the washer and dryer are off balance. I have to go to Lowe™€™s in Vestal NY to have someone come and balance them. I™€™ve called them regarding this and nothing done

Quiet and effective dryer

We replaced a 20+ year old Kenmore set with this dryer and the matching washer a few weeks ago, and it works great. It's quieter and a bit larger. I really like knowing how long the dry will take, but my favorite feature is the stream function for both removing static from the load and for doing a quick refresh, especially with sweaters that have been in storage.

We just purchased our new Electrolux washer and dryer to replace our previous Electrolux set that we had for over 17 years. The washer was still working, but the dryer was going. We would™€™ve kept our washer, but we wanted the set to match. I love the smaller footprint of the newer machines, and I love the design of the options across the front. It makes it so easy to go left to right and make your selections for each load, and the machine also auto selects the best fit for the wash type you were doing. Our old machine did not do that.

We just got these after our old Samsung finally gave up. So far the washer and dryer have been great! Our Samsung appliances we had nothing but problems and so far we have had no problems with these Electrolux. The steam feature works nicely to get the wrinkles out. I previously never used the auto feature because I never bothered reading the instructions. I always thought the auto never worked, HOWEVER after reading the Electrolux instructions I learned that you just have to change the settings (higher or lower to get it to the dry temp you need) when you put it on auto sense and then you can actually set it and forget it and it really does work! There's even a wrinkle release button to hit so the clothes stay fresh. So far we are loving our new washer & dryer!

I love this dryer! We purchased this when our old dryer died and it works great! It dries my clothes in half the time the old one did, has a large drum and can fit a king size comforter, and the lint trap is large size. We are a pet family and it actually gets all the pet hair of our clothes.

This washer does a great job cleaning clothes. Didn't think it would be better than my old LG, but clothes seem so much cleaner! Seems to be better on water consumption too. It's very quiet. Only nit is that the doors are now plastic vs real glass, but as long as the seal is good, it doesn't matter. Great product.

Damages clothing

This is a terrible machine. A defective moisture sensor has ruined hundreds of dollars of clothing and sheets. Electrolux sent a repair person that told us we were washing our clothes wrong (clearly misidentifying the problem), but it continued to happen. We finally had to work with an independent repair person who found the issue, but Electrolux will not reimburse for all the damage done. I completely regret this purchase and will never buy Electrolux again. I suggest you look elsewhere.

Like my washer, my 18 year old Kenmore dryer no longer had parts available and was beginning to malfunction. With all the complaints circulating about poor quality washers and dryers I hesitated to buy a new set. After careful research, I chose the Electrolux 400 series. I wanted something simple to operate but would meet my needs. This was definitely the right choice! No one in the area had any Electrolux on display, so I had to really ™€œtrust™€ and purchase sight unseen. I must say, I am impressed. The quality is definitely noticeable and the glacier blue color is gorgeous. Please consider adding a light to this dryer. I did call Electrolux prior to my purchase and was told yes there is a light in this dryer, but no there is not. Like the washer, the settings can be mixed and matched which makes them extremely versatile. Great choice!
