I had another pair for only 3 years and the last year was a nightmare...not Electrolux. I researched and was surprised the highest marks were given to Electrolux. Since I am 81, my memory of this brand was only vacuums. I immediately bought the washer and dryer and I have been extremely pleased. Put the Start sheets in plastic and over the next few months I will have tried all the combos. Cats, gardener/landscaper husband and just Florida dirt/sand and you get the picture.

great dryer, works good and looks good and is quiet. only dissapointment was that it didnt have a drum light, we didn't think about it when we selected it. thought all front loading washers and dryers had them. one other issue that we have noticed is that the door doesn't close flush, looks like it is not completey closed.also bought the matching color pedestal for it and was suprised to find out after installer left that it doesn't come with dividers.

Our 3yr old Samsung couldn't finish a load - always out of balance...repairs were more than the cost of a new one. Saw this frontloader set in glacier blue and had to get. Not had too long, but so far works great. Love the quick wash for small loads. 18 -24 minutes.

This dryer is fantastic. It does even large heavy loads in record time. The lint trap is large and easy to empty. I love that there is an alert reminding you to clean out the lint.

I have never seen a prettier washing machine in my life. We also have a kid and two dogs so it is fabulous at keeping clothes clean too! I am just not used to the functions of a front loader. Customer service has been great about it.

Probably the best quality dryer I have ever had. I like the fact that on Standard setting it allows the laundry to tumble with no heat and then gradually increases heat. This results in better drying results, less lint and less wear on the laundry. Perfect!

Love everything about this dryer EXCEPT - no interior light (thought all dryers had one) and very long cold tumble on NORMAL cycle before heat comes on. I'm told this is normal operation to fluff and prevent wrinkling. I'd rather have NORMAL cycle dry load faster.

I have had the pair for a few days after replacing my 15 yr old Kenmore Elites. I like the easy to use digital on the machines. The washer washes really well, and the dryer is doing great too. I wish I could have purchased the pedestals. I use to have the 10" the current are 15" and do not fit under my shelves. Spouse built a strong platform because the set was too low on the ground.

This replaces a 10 year old Electrolux dryer that I was no longer able to get parts for. It seems cheaply made compared to the old one. And I can't believe a $1200 dryer doesn't have a light in the drum. If you look at the features on a mobile device, it does seem to say there's interior lighting, but there is not. I've dried a couple of loads of clothes and it does work, but it's a disappointment compared to the old one.
