I decided to purchase an Electrolux washer and dryer because I had had an Electrolux washer before and ended up giving it to my landlord at a rental property. The washer had multiple functions and I was always assured that I could properly wash whatever type of material and get it cleaned! It™€™s a solid machine in a disposable world. I am waiting for my new washer/dryer to be delivered with great anticipation.

Quality Control sub-standard

When removing the shipping package from the dryer, I noticed a large gap between the front control panel and the top metal cover. This was a bit disturbing because the past Electrolux dryer we had was perfect in assembly of the unit as well as the functionality. This basically tells me that the Quality Control is lacking as well as the manufacturing of parts. In order the the top to fit more closer to the front panel, I actually had to take the top panel off and bend the back flange slightly so that when I placed the panel back onto the top, the front portion of the panel would be closer to the front control panel. Luckily I'm mechanically inclined so I was able to make this adjustment. Also, the fact that these panels have excessive paint of some parts, it doesn't allow for a good assembly..

I love my new Electrolux washer and dryer set! The washer has a pod dispenser, so we don't find the pod sitting in the front loader door gap as we sometimes found with our previous washer (which was also an Electrolux that was sold with our previous home and was 14 years old and still working great). The washer and dryer both work great and have convenient automatic settings and many options to select for small or large loads.

My LG dryer started on fire due to a motherboard problem and needed to be replaced quickly. After doing dome research I headed out and found the Electrolux Steam dryer and fell in love with the look! The dry time is incredibly fast and there are options for the types of clothes to dry. From delicates to towels to a wrinkle release, we can do it all with this dryer! I am very happy with our purchase and will continue to by Electrolux products in the future because of the excellent quality!

Electrolux ELFE7537AW dryer. The dryer works great when it works so I give it three stars for that. However after the first couple of weeks it started throwing an error code and after looking it up online it states it is related to a wiring issue. Well if that is the actual case then after unplugging it and waiting a few minutes why would it restart? Why did it work perfectly for over 2 weeks before having the error code? Why would it only throw the code and have to be unplugged to be reset after working perfectly every couple of weeks or so? I would understand if anything at the outlet side was changed and I could not get it to even reset but nothing changed and the old dryer still operates without issue on the same outlet. When this first happened I had to finish drying a couple loads in the old dryer after the error codes locked the dryer and would not complete a load. I only noticed after going out to get the clothes only to find out nothing was dry since it completely stops the cycle. I know our power fluctuates from time to time so I thought maybe the dryer was more sensitive to those fluctuations and they did seem particularly bad at that time. After the power company finally corrected those recent issues the dryer seemed to work correctly for several weeks. Then again it started but unplugging the dryer seemed to work to reset it. These errors still happen from time to time so it seems I am going to have to keep the old dryer around as a backup since this new one seems to be way too sensitive for any power fluctuations however minor here in the heart of a large metropolitan city. Either that or the new dryer has a faulty part from the start. They will not send a tech to check until I spend the money to have a certified electrician check our home wiring which I do not see a need to do that when the old dryer never had this type of issue and still operates just fine in the same outlet. I will not be purchasing another Electrolux. Incidentally another major brand washer I had also just recently purchased prior to purchasing this dryer works perfectly from the same house breaker panel so again I don't believe the wiring here is the main problem.

Replacement for 23 year old Maytag Neptune. I like the Controls and options. The "Auto Dry" has not consistently fully dried any load. I use the Instant Refresh 10 minute cycle to finish or use the Time Dry options to ensure fully dry clothes. I may need to do more research. The dryer is louder than I thought it would be for a new machine. The installer said it may be loud for a couple of days but I have been using for two weeks and still loud.

I purchased the washing machine last year, and when my dryer went out, I knee I was not gonna go with anybody. Other than Electrolux. The customer service is excellent. The quality of the product is excellent. This is the best brand I have ever purchased and appliances. I've had this dryer for 3 months and have had service on it 3 times already, plus had the motor replaced. How does a NEW dryer have a motor replacement that quick? It's also SO loud that it sounds like a train is coming through the house. I was told it's just going to be that loud....now it squeaks and there's no fix for it...just told it would squeak....when you pay over $1000 for a dryer you expect top notch. I want a new dryer or a refund. This is ridiculous.

I love my new Electrolux dryer! It leaves my laundry incredibly soft. I am disappointed, though, that I cannot dry the clothes completely on auto when using the low heat setting and have to use the timed dry when drying on low. Overall, it is a wonderful product.

We previously had an Electrolux dryer and had no problem with it at all, until we moved, and unfortunately the vent tube was damaged. These machines were 11 years old and running great, so that inclined us to buy another set, and happy we did. The predictive dry works amazingly good, and love the style. Highly recommend for small or larger families. It will get the job done.

I can™€™t believe I waited so long to get a new washer and dryer. Compared to these, my old ones were awful. The clothes are spun to the point that they are almost dry versus having heavy wet clothes. So less dry time, shrinkage and energy.

Afrer Searching for over a week and reading the reviews I decided to choose the electrolux ELFE7537AW1 electric dryer. I also did not hook up the steam to the dryer. I have it incase I decide to install at a later date. What I worried about was, what if the washer leakes the water and something goes wrong. the water will leak into the dryer and I dont want to have that happen. I really like this dryer it is energy efficiant and it dries my close perfectly. I am so glad I chose this dryer instead of the one recommended . When I ordered this dryer I told the store if my dryer did not have this number it was going back. I find they will try to substitute another numer and say it is the same. IT IS NOT! The washer that pairs to this dryer is ELFW7537AW2 great washer.

Dryer is impressive and huge. Controls are easy, unit is quiet when running.Delivery from Home Depot was embarrassing. Took TWO MONTHS to get everything. Stickers on units and stack kit showed Electrolux delivered units to Home Depot™€™s a couple of days after ordering. Lost in warehouse. Entire delivery chain after that was a total joke. And the units were dented! Home Depot wound up crediting the card 45% of the purchase price.

Preset options hard to know if it adjusts the time

The dryer is good so far I have not had it a long time but I find the preset options most of them seem to have very long lengths to them and it isn™€™t clear to me if it adjusts the time down as it senses the dryness of the items.I hope it has durability and can last more than 8 years.
