I have only had the machine for a couple of weeks but have been very happy. I have had front loads before but had mixed feelings about them. I did not like the small openings. This one has a large opening making it easier to load and unload laundry. Clothes feel cleaner than when using the old top load which was included in the purchase of our house.

Takes longer to dry than our previous dryer but we can shorten the time by adjusting the matching washer with a faster spin RPM. Really love the larger capacity of both the washer and dryer which reduces the amount of loads per week.

Before buying my new Electrolux washer/dryer combo, I did a lot of reading to try to find the best machine. Ultimately, I™€™m satisfied with my choice. However, I would say that dry times are longer than with my old, trusty Kenmore, which was still working fine after 15 years when I replaced it (the washer, unfortunately, was another story). I™€™m also unimpressed with the automatic dry sensor. Most of my loads have come out pretty damp and needed a 2nd cycle to get them dry, which decreases the efficiency and almost doubles the time it takes to finish a load. Hopefully, this will happen less often as I get more used to the different settings, or I may just start going with the timed drying feature.

If I could give it 0 stars, I would..We had the first dryer for 3 months (another 3 months sitting in a garage waiting for our new house to be finished). Immediately had a very loud metal-against-metal scratching noise when we finally first used it. Those 3 whole months were spent trying to get someone to fix it, bc apparently the drum was egg-shaped. Serviceman who came to fix it tried ordering new parts 4 different times and those parts either came damaged as well, or never came on time before my service date was rescheduled. I™€™d rescheduled 6 times! Finally called HQ and they told me to reschedule service again. Eliza with customer service (the manager) hang up on me without any further assistance. Was only able to get a replacement dryer after some back channels were used.. and this! is my replacement dryer. You tell me if this is fixed and resolved. This machine replaced one basically just like it that I had had for many years. That machine was great. Right now it appears that this machine will finction as well as the previous machine. I am pleased with the functions and how it works. There are a few items that are improved. This pedestal is easy to open and does not have the push lock on it. That lock broke on my washer and therefore does not stay closed. This pedestal closes completely and stays closed. The time function on the rotating know is very easy to read. It dries well, just like the previous machine.

We bought this model because we didn't need an App to use it .... it would have been one more thing to go wrong! The only disappointing aspect of this purchase? Pausing Dryer

I bought both the washing machine and matching dryer. I absolutely love the washing machine, but my dryer is defective. I have owned the dryer for approximately one month, and it has paused on most loads since I purchased it. I contacted Electrolux, and they scheduled a service appointment for me. The repairman/technician came out and ran tests on the dryer. It failed a heat test and had a door error code internally so a control board and dryer switch were replaced. The dryer continued to pause. I contacted Electrolux again, and another service appointment was scheduled. This time, the repairman was very thorough, but decided the harness needs to be replaced which is more invasive. I feel like I have paid for a refurbished dryer. Do not try to call Electrolux™€™s customer service line. You will not be able to get past their ™€œcommercials™€ and speak to an actual representative. The text is more responsive, but you are not able to speak with a supervisor or manager. When my load does complete, there is much less static electricity. I think I would love the dryer if I did not get a defective one. I am hoping Electrolux will stand by their warranty and replace the dryer because they are clearly testing the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Because something is clearly glitching, I am not sure it is safe.

Auto dry isn't quite enough

It is a good dryer and has lots of nice features. However, I have been disappointed in the auto dry feature that is supposed to sense the moisture level and adjust the dry time to not over use energy and be more gentle on your clothes. I have found small damp spots on some clothes after using the auto dry. It is a new dryer, so hopefully I can do some research on it and find a setting that fixes that issue. Also, the wrinkle release does very little help. I was expecting more out of that feature.

After having my Kenmore dryer for 20 years, it was hard to make a decision on new dryer. The Electrolux does do a better job of drying on the first run (My Kenmore dry sensor must have been off). I do love the lint trap design - folded, with the air being pushed in between. Its much better than the older designs where half the lint falls back into the dryer. I do wish it was wake up when I turn the knob (the way my washer does), but over all its simple to use and does a nice job. {We did not hook up the steam}
