Fabulous Washer

This washer replaced a 34 year old machine and the Electrolux has been absolutely fabulous. It's a water-saver model and Energy Star, which was very important to me. The machine is very quiet operating and cleans clothing and blankets efficiently. I have enjoyed the different features of the machine, including wash time variations and spin cycle variations.

You get what you pay for. Bought 3 months ago and already worried that the front door is leaking. Soap dispenser difficult to open and does not empty properly - it is full of water after each load.

Yet another washer

The drum went on my 5 year old Samsung and the service person (that took almost 2 months to come)said it would be almost cheaper to get a new one then fix the old. So off shopping I went. I initially replaced it with another Samsung ( a dryer was stacked on top). After 8 weeks I finally had a new one After 2 loads it started making violent screaming sounds..so I had to call the Samsung support. What an ordeal..I™€™m sure English was their 4th language and the hold time was crazy (68 minutes). Long story short..the new washers drum was never even bolted in place and after another 6 weeks I finally got a refund check. The Appliance Store recommended this brand..excellent price with great service if needed. Buy this time the dryer also died so I needed another whole set. I™€™ve been pleased thus far but it lacks lots of the bells and whistles my other had at the same price. It™€™s difficult to know how much detergent to put in as there is no fill line and you never know what cycle it™€™s on. It™€™s sounds like a jet going off and shakes when it starts up the spin cycle..but man it sure get those clothes spun dry ( which means less drying time). I only wish that it came in colors..white is so boring..I miss my maroon colored set. It does an excellent job of cleaning which is why people buy them. Would recommend to others just looking for a reliable ™€œPlain Jane™€

I have never owned a front load washing machine before and I was very hesitant to purchase one. However, I am pleasantly surprised at how well this cleans clothes. This is also my first Electrolux product, and I am very pleased. The only caution I can extend to a buyer is that the machine has a greater depth than a top loader because of the door - I didn™€™t consider this before purchasing. It just fit in my space. If you are considering purchasing, and you have a small laundry room as I do, be sure to measure all dimensions.

We have had our washing machine for about 3 months and have no complaints at all. I was reluctant to shop for a new machine because I had a Maytag that had lasted 19 years. I thought I wouldn't like the features of a new machine but I was wrong. It is easy to use,the various wash options are useful and most of the cycles take less time than my old machine. I am drying out the soap dispenser and the rubber seal after almost every wash in order to avoid the mold build-up that happens with most front loaders. So far, so good!

My apartments renovated and put this washer along with the dryer in our units, I love the fact we now have a washer and dryer but for the love of god I can not get the mold out of the rubber ring in the washer, I leave the door open after washing, I™€™ve wiped it, sprayed it , bleached it . I™€™ve tried every thing and it still gets mold built up.

The E set fit our space needs, has all the cycles we need, is quiet, and was the most reasonably priced. Oh - and is MADE in the USA!!!

I have only had my washer for about 3 weeks. It's the right size for my loads. It is quiet. I wish that the spin cycle wrung out more water. Even at the highest spin cycle, clothes are still pretty damp, requiring more drying time, compared to my previous Kenmore.

In the four months I have had this, the machine has worked well without any problems. Does not have all the advanced setting options as the higher end versions, but gets the job done and has a solid capacity. I can't comment on value as this came with a new build, but I've overall been satisfied with the product without any major issues. I do wish it was the blue/gray version though.

This machine replaced a top load from another brand. I hated that machine. It didn't get clothes clean and left lint residue all over the clothes. This machine gets clothes clean, is faster and more efficient. I love it! It's easy to use, has the right amount of features for me. The only slight negative is that it is loud when spinning.

Laundry products dispenser

The laundry products dispenser fills up with water after every wash and I have to use a towel to soak up water or it will become musty, moldy. This is just an extra step I have to do after every wash. Since I don't have a sink in my laundry room, it takes up my time. It would be better to have a dispenser that would drain after the wash. I'm happy with my washer , except for the dispenser.

Problem: Laundry products dispenser

The only problem I have is with the laundry products dispenser, but that means every time I do a wash I have to stop and take a towel and soak up the water left in the bleach and softener part of the dispenser, then I have to hang the towel to dry until the next wash is done. I do not have a sink in my laundry room and this is just extra time added to each wash. If I do not soak up the water, it will stay and that level and start to cause orders, mildew, etc. I think it is a poor design. My washer operates fine except for the dispenser.

Unfortunately, we received our new washer, and after the first load, there was water all over my brand new wood floor. Washer arrived with the water valve missing a rubber gasket so now I have been without a washer for two weeks. Hoping it will be a good washer after it is fixed.
