We purchased this washer/dryer combo in April 2024 and were initially pleased with its performance. For the first several months, it operated efficiently and met our laundry needs quite well. However, after about nine months, we began to experience some issues.The dryer started taking longer than expected to dry even small loads, despite trying various settings. Since the unit was still covered under warranty, we reached out for service. Over the course of three months, technicians visited our home three times. While we appreciated their efforts and noticed some minor improvements, the overall performance remained inconsistent, leading us to adapt rather than pursue additional repairs.To safeguard our investment, we opted for an extended warranty, which we are glad we chose. Unfortunately, last Sunday the washer completely ceased operation, accompanied by a burnt-motor smell in the laundry room. Upon contacting customer service the following day, we learned that no service agents were available in our area, but we were assured that someone would reach out within 3 business days. They also indicated that, should we not receive updates, they would begin processing a full replacement based on the error code (E35) and our previous issues.Regrettably, we did not receive any calls, so we followed up again today. Fortunately, they are now arranging a replacement for us, which we expect to receive within 7-10 days. We anticipate it will be the same model and sincerely hope to avoid any recurring issues.Overall, while the washer/dryer combo's initial performance was commendable, the subsequent challenges have been somewhat frustrating. We are grateful for the service team's dedication, but the unit's reliability still has room for improvement. We remain hopeful that the replacement unit will fare better. I am assigning 3 stars instead of 2 to acknowledge the customer service efforts, as I believe they are worth highlighting.
