The stacking tower washer dryer seems to do a very nice job. Longevity will be the key. After reading reviews, this looked to be a winner. Compact and fits perfectly. I was drawn to the brand also because my grandfather sold Electrolux vacuums door to door in the 1920™€™s. I hope his spirit led me to a long running machine.

Bought Two New Gas Dryer Laundry Towers

We own a large Airbnb and needed additional laundry capability. We replaced a top load washer and electric dryer with two of these units. We changed to gas for speed and overall cost. The one downside to these units is that they are very large. They stick out from the wall a lot farther than the old units.

Main issue is the dryer i would of expected sensors to adjust time to get things dry for the price tag I'm disappointed in the dryer it never gets dry in 1 setting I'm always having to add time. Washer works good but a bit small. It's ok I don't think it's worth what I paid for it and in hindsight I should of gone with a different brand with more features for the same price.

I™€™m coming from a pretty old washer and dryer set so this is a massive upgrade. I seriously like the look of it, each of the modes, the location of the control panel, and the ease of use.Pros: Accurate drying and washing times, laundry capacity (I love that I could fit my heavy queen comforter in the washer and dryer. This is such an upgrade from having to take it to the cleaners like I did before), Washing machine is very efficient due to the Powerful spin cycle. Cons: The washing machine machines spin cycle can get pretty loud. I measured it around 71 dB but thankfully it only lasts for a short period of time and it really does do a good job of drying before putting it in the dryer. It does stick out much farther than my old unit. I really wish I had taken in the depths and the clearance depth into consideration, but maybe there are some ways to adjust this. And lastly, I™€™m very disappointed that there™€™s no official spot for pods in this model. When I had looked at a similar model in the store, it had a tray compartment for the pods and this one does not. This is very disappointing because I™€™ve always loved the convenience of the pods.

Best choice for our new laundry room

Built a new laundry room in our basement where minimal space needed to be maximized and the quality of the washer and dryer would not be compromised. Because of space, a stacking unit was the best approach. The Electrolux tower won out as it's quality of cleaning clothes is very high, the tower is an inch thinner than other competitors (yes, space was that challenged), and one of us is vertically challenged (5'2" tall) so if a standard stacking system was installed a footstool would have to be always at the ready so that the dryer controls could be reached. After seeing the tower, the midsection controls for both units makes so much sense i don't understand why this hasn't been adopted by all as the standard configuration. After months of use, we are very happy with the quality of the laundry process; easy to use, quiet and clothes are well cleaned and well dried.

Have used my new laundry tower for two months and am very satisfied. There are a wide array of settings for the washer and the dryer, so you can customize your laundering. I think my clothing is being washed more completely than my previous machine. The manufacturer recommends liquid detergent, which I use, and the detergent tray empties completely and stays clean, but it can also be removed and cleaned. I need only a small quantity of liquid concentrated detergent--a tablespoon--to get lightly soiled clothing clean. In DC, the water is hard, so I also use a liquid laundry rinse. The dryer lint tray has a fine mesh so it captures all lint and is easy to clean. The machine is very quiet. There are no inconvenient niches that would collect dirt. The manufacturer recommends running a clean cycle monthly. Because it is a front loader and I don't want mold, I dry the interior door seals with a paper towel after the weekly laundry is finished and leave the doors ajar so that the cylinders dry completely.

I have been very happy with the Electrolux 300 laundry tower. The washer and dryer are large capacity, but the overall size of the unit is manageable. Despite being large and heavy, the unit was pretty easy to move into place, and the initial setup was very easy as well. The controls are easy to use and efficient. The only negative would be some of the wash and dry cycles seem longer than other units I have used. Overall the clothes are clean and this seems to be a well designed product.

I really like the extra space you now have with the tower. Lots of great features. I really like the 15-Minute Fast Wash & 15-Minute Fast Dry feature. It helps me when I forget to wash the night before. I like the extra-large capacity the washer and dryer can hold. I like the reversable door feature, since we had to switch the door opening. The extended fresh is nice, because I tend to forget I threw a wash in.

The gas Electrolux Laundry Tower in white. It is beautiful and has stainless steel tubs. Can not get a better laundry space. It is not a stacked washer and dryer but rather one combined tower that offers a full-size washer and dryer. The tower is very stable. The steel tubs on both the washer and the dryer are very large and can easily hold a king size comforter and blankets with no problem. The laundry tower is a great concept as the controls are on a shared panel that is located between the washer and dryer. This is very helpful if you are vertically challenged as the controls are easily reachable. The washer unit is somewhat quiet and features multiple timed cycles for washes from quick washing or extra dirty and longer washing cycles. The dryer has more noise than the washer but it does dry quickly and efficiently. The Tower has multiple preset modes and are very easy to select and use for both the washer and the dryer. The refresh mode to remove the wrinkles in minutes is a great feature and works perfectly. The washer has a slide out plastic tray where the detergent, bleach and softeners are placed. It will take both liquid or powdered detergent and has a removeable dispenser when using the powder. The detergent wash tray is made of plastic and does seem to get stuck at times and will need extra effort in closing. The detergent tray does hold water after the wash cycles are complete and does not fully empty after each wash. Not sure if this will create any problems in the future but keeping an eye on it. The dryer has a very large lint trap and is very easy to remove and clean after each load. This Electrolux laundry Tower is game changing space save and will recommend. So easy to use and highly recommended.

I am happy with the washer dryer. It helps to save space because the dryer is on top of the washer. It is easy and simple to use. I'm able to fit a large amount of clothing in both the washer and dryer. It does a great job of quickly washing and drying clothes with the 15 minute fast wash and dry feature. Unlike my previous washer dryer, this one is ENERGY STAR Certified, so it helps me save money on my electricity bill every month. Additionally, this washer dryer set has an amazing feature called Extended Tumble that keeps my clothes tangle free. I would recommend this washer dryer set to others.

Clothes feel clean again

We recently got the Electrolux stacked laundry center to replace our almost 10 year old front load set. It finally seems like our clothes are getting clean again! The control panel is super simple and easy to use. If you make any adjustments to the preset cycles, it will even save those adjustments when you select that setting subsequent times (for example, if you change the water to ™€œcool™€ on the Normal cycle, the next time you go to select that cycle it will already be set on cool). However, I do wish there were a few more preset cycles on the washer, such as ™€œhand wash™€ or ™€œwool™€. The dryer spins out the clothes incredibly well to the point where the clothes are just barely damp to the touch. However, this comes at a cost as it is very loud and sounds like an airplane taking off. I was shocked that there was no washing machine filter to clean as there was in my old machine. This is convenient, one less thing to do, but I hope the machine doesn™€™t get moldy or stinky since it doesn™€™t have a filter. Overall this is a great space saving machine and seems to be priced well for what it offers.

My Electrolux 300 tower replaced an aging pair of stackables. The performance of the new set is stellar. I can wash and dry a small load in 30 minutes but it also packs the deep cleaning power to handle heavy blankets and cat beds. It is quiet and easy to use, has a great set of pre-set modes like quick wash (15 minutes) and refresh to get wrinkles out of clothes.Having all the controls centered in the middle of the machine rather than the traditional stackable design made life for my vertically challenged wife a lot better, no step stools required here.All in all, we love our new washer/dryer combo from Electrolux and plan on buying more from them in the future when the need arises.

Since moving into my house many years ago, I have always hated my laundry room. It literally only was wide enough for my washer and dryer. It's been my dream to have a stackable unit, but hard to find one that has a gas dryer. We finally decided to take make the splurge and buy the Electrolux 300 series Laundry Tower. I can't tell you how much we love it. The washer cleans so well at getting my clothes clean. With my old washer, my dark clothes would always have lint and other things left on them, but not any more. There are so many settings to choose from, and I love that it has a delayed start. The height of the dryer is perfect for moving the wet laundry into also! I just can't explain how much I love this combo. All the extra space in our laundry room has inspired us to remodel the whole room. As a side note, I was out to dinner with a girlfriend last week, and she was talking about things she wanted to get before she retired. First on her list was an Electrolux stackable washer and dryer. I couldn't believe it. I had her stop by after we got back to the neighborhood to look at mine. Now she is convinced and plans to get one by the end of the year!

I just received the laundry machine this weekend and it™€™s the second cycle of clothes that I am washing. Super easy to use.. you just select the temperature, the type of soil and the spinning cycle. There is option to use powder or liquid detergent, bleach and softener and also a stain treatment, each one goes in a separate compartment of the drawer. The normal cycle is only 45 minutes. There is option to do extra rinse or extended refresh. In the dryer, you can select level of temperature, dry level, dry time up to 75 min. There is also a wrinkle release feature or an extended tumble. There is also a dry boost feature. The machine is not noisy. So far, I am really satisfied with the laundry machine.
