Incomplete installation

The third-party service used by LG has shown incompetence and their customer support reflects this. There have been several cancellations and misleading texts indicating upcoming cancellations followed by a confirmation text two hours later. When the technician arrived they did not have all the necessary accessories to install the equipment properly. I have contacted both LG and ROXO multiple times to complete the installation I paid for. Based on this experience I am reconsidering future online purchases from them.

Avoid at all costs Super loud out of the box

This is the worst big purchase Ive ever made. I regret purchasing all LG Appliances for my home specifically because of this clunky loud piece of garbage dryer. Customer service is an absolute joke and the repair companies are even worse. Its like to add that my unit is less than 2 months old and had issues out of the box and LG refuses to address them. Stay away from this dryer unless you want a loud heartbeat thump of a drum that you can hear through the whole house. LG claims the thumping is normal- must be a new feature for the LG dryers because weve never experienced this on older models. Straight trash.

I purchased on 11/20/24 and it was delivered 11/30/25 shipping and delivery was pretty fast. The items delivered to my new house and because I was out of state my brother meet them and accepted deliver. The deliver company set them up only to find out I ordered the wrong pedestals. When I got the new pedestals about 30 days later after I finished my move I had to install them. Upon moving the dryer it was discovered that the washers Right rear corner had major damage to the panel. There is no way the delivery guys did not see it and made sure my brother did not either. Lg said it was passed my 14 days and was out of luck.

Ive had it a few weeks. So far its drying adequately and I was pleased with the bedding setting that allowed me to get my comforter dried in much less time than my previous dryer. I wish the light would come on whenever I opened the door. Ill never need or use most of the high tech features.

Incomplete install. missing parts bad support...

Not installed correctly. It is missing all accessories and the door doesnt shut tight. Now we had to schedule another date to finish bringing some of the missing accessories and hooking the dryer up for steam. Its the only date he would give me but we have to leave by noon. So according to the asociate Ill have to reschedule if we cross paths that day. The door is also loose by almost inch even when it runs. The chat person didnt even care to address that. Its a thousand dollar appliance and we get treated better at Good Will...

The delivery process was terrible. The company changed my delivery date without my knowledge. I waited two different days and nothing. Finally a week later it was delivered and the delivery company refused to change the side of the dryer door the way the dryer opens in my laundry room is wrong. They said I have to contact LG for service. There is no direct number or email for service so its been 4 weeks now and its hard to use the dryer.

Horrible service and install safety concerns

Ordered on 9/11 and promised delivery on 9/17. Was not delivered and multiple times later it was installed on 9/29 with missing parts used old appliance parts. Spent 3-5 hours on the phone with no resolution to the issues. Unclear if the appliance is reliable or not since we just received it. However what ever future service or repairs we might need I fear will be the same horrible experience so far. I should have read all the horrible customer service stories before purchasing. Be warned

Dryer works well. Screw to reverse door swing was cross-threaded at factory and cannot be loosened to change the door. Getting the run--around from customer service to have them send someone out. Such a simple thing ruining the customer experience.

Install/Delivery: The support during the purchase was great However once the delivery/install started that changed quickly. When the delivery/installation company arrived they were nice however they refused to install the stacking kit that was on the same order as the washer and dryer due to it being shipped directly too me instead of to them. I had a long and frustrating call LG customer service while the delivery company was still here and the resolution was to re-dispatch the delivery company over2 weeks later to stack the units this work has not yet been completed. I then noticed that my steam dryer is not connected to the water line. I checked the manual and sure enough it requires a connection to the water line in order to be a steam dryer and use all of the cycles. I then called LG customer service again to let them know the installers did not complete the install and asked that it be added to the work order for stacking the units. This lead to me speaking to an 2 agents a supervisor and a promised but never made return call from a manger at LG customer support. While they did agree that per the description of the dryer installation that the hardware/parts and connection to the water line are included their internal process does not allow them to honor it. These are my first LG major appliances and looks like they will also be my last given the issues right of from the start. Dryer function: Currently I can not comment on the steam dryer functions see above but I can say that due to that issue some of the cycles can not be used on my machine. Another thing to be aware of is that there are limited changes that you can make per predefined cycle level of dryness and temperature mainly. Some of the cycles can cant change either setting ands one you can change one of the a little maybe of the 5 heat settings you can change between 2 on one cycle other all 5. I typically use low heat so right now it looks like Delicates and speed dry will be used most of the time. For me this will negate most of preset cycles of the dryer but I do realize that I may be the minority on this setting so I encourage others to compare the settings in the manual to the way they use their current unit. I can say that the one load that I have done so far seemed to come out dry when using delicate. If I am able to provide updates/edits I will do so on the usage and customer service issues.

We bought the LG Dryer earlier this month. We did not consider any other manufacture as we have always purchased the LG brand. All our appliances in our home are LG. The new dryer is great and so mart very easy to use. Its neat to use it from my phone I like how it updates on its progress.

Do NOT order lg.com. They use RXO warehouse and delivery. They did not plug in my appliance because they have no plugs. They forced me to call LG myself. RXO no showed. $3K out and have no working appliance. Overseas customer service doesnt do anything but point fingers

We do a lot of laundry in our house and I am pleasantly suprised at how efficient and quick the unit dries. The smart feature is awesome Im alerted when there is an issue had a clogged exhaust pipe as well as when cycle is done.

This worked for 10-11 months after I purchased it. Then it unexpectedly shut off with time still left on the dry cycle. I called LG to schedule a service call as it was still under the one year manufacturers warrantee. A week later the service technician came to diagnose the problem. He determined the motor was blown and the control panel acting strange. He then ordered those parts which he installed a week following the first visit. Neither one of those parts solved the problem. At this point LG supplied more parts and labor than what I purchased the machine for. The technician spoke to LG and suggested I call and ask for a replacement or a refund as he could not find the issue. After yet another call to LG customer support they told me I could not request a replacement or refund until a technician came a third time. Another part was ordered and I was told I would have to wait another two weeks from the last visit for the technician to visit for the third time. This process has been ongoing for nearly a month Customer service is taking me in circles while Im having to leave work on short notice for their service appointments as well as having to pay to do my laundry elsewhere while this product is still under warrantee. It is utterly ridiculous and inexcusable to conduct a warrantee program in this way. I will NEVER be buying any LG appliances again and recommend everybody avoid this brands appliances.

I bought this lg product electric dryer at brandsmart Miami A year went by and the computer on the dryer got damaged I had to get a new computer $320.00 dollars My washer machine is LG my freezer LG I hope nothing goes bad with the other machines

I purchased the dryer in early July. It hasnt worked yet after almost eight weeks. Warranty claim sent out twice. Last time tech came out was almost three weeks ago. Now dealing with Presidential Lison Team which yielded several texts and no action in over a week. Eight weeks without a dryer or resolution

I have used this washer dryer pair for about three weeks now no issues. I am surprised that the dryer runs cool about halfway through the dry cycle when clothes are still wet but have been told this is normal and part of the energy saving feature. Hum... that doesnt make sense to me so I have switched off energy save and started using the timed dry feature and this gets my clothes dryer faster without over drying.
