Good but not the best

Questionable Quality

The steam function hasnt worked since purchased and it is not the result of installation or the water supply line. Also having a difficult time getting warranty service. As for the warranty claim process it is horrible. Also notice little difference between heat settings. All are hot except for the lowest and there isnt an air only setting. Lastly a substantial amount of lint gets past the lint tray and is very difficult to clean out where it accumulates under the tray. On a positive note it is nice looking

Two years old and already having problems

Its only a two year old unit and had damage to it that wasnt covered by the manufactures warranty. LG has also conveniently discontinued producing the unit I bought so parts for it dont exist anymore. This company was not helpful when I needed help with a problem and eventually needed to replace a part. It doesnt help that there isnt anyone in my area that can service this brands machines.

Great Dryer

I bought this dryer as a floor model at Lowes. I got a good deal on it. Dryers are pretty basic machines. Your clothing goes in and flop around in hot air until the moister sensor or timer tell it to stop. Its the steam and smart features that make this a great machine. I like that it talks with the washing machine to get the right setting after a load is done. I also like the steam function which I use to freshen up clothes that really dont need to be washed. I have the machine connected to Alexa so it announces when the drying is done. That really helps keep the washing and drying production moving. The back pressure sensor is very sensitive and notified me my vents were clogged. After I cleaned the vent piping it still told me my vent was still partially blocked. After doing a better inspection I found the roof vent was clogged shut with lint. Thats pretty sensitive calibration on that machine. The app is also great at reminding you to clean the screen and gives you load counts plus energy consumption. The audio diagnostics is great too. No more looking up codes after pushing a series of buttons.

Faulty board and switch after just a year.

We purchased this just over a year ago and had the board and door switch go bad. The drum would spin non-stop until breaker was shut off or the dryer was physically unplugged. I called support and was told the dryer was out of warranty. We were quoted $99 for a diagnostic fee then parts/labor would be on top of that diagnostic fee. If you buy one make sure you get an extended warranty because it will likely fail shortly after a year. Aside from that it does an ok job of drying clothes. Some clothes need 2 cycles. Some wrinkle pretty heavily. I would not purchase again myself.

We bought this dryer as a set with the matching washer. The connectivity between the two machines is amazing and the dryer presets the settings based on what you washed in the washing machine. Also we are able to get notices on Alexa and our phones when the cycle is done so we can move loads along quicker. Having a large family with lots of laundry to do makes this feature amazing.

Purchased top of the line front end washer and dryer. The dryer was not working properly after installation. This failure could have possibly damaged the dryer due to excessive heat build up in the dryer. Your tech person Samuel repaired the dryer preventing a possible fire in the unit. I love my LG clothes dryer. There is such a variety of options depending upon the type of load I have so I can fine tune exactly how long and how hot I am drying. Since I purchased it Ive laundered my king-sized comforter and quilt which the dryer handled very well. I was impressed by how quiet the machine is. It makes it possible for me to do laundry in the evening without disturbing others I live in a condo building. I know I am going to enjoy it for many years to come. In additiion to the drying features I really love the black steel finish. It is very modern looking and it definitely does not show fingerprints. I wish all my other appliances had this finish.

The steam feature isnt actually steam. It sprays a mist on the clothes. When you take the clothes out of the dryer they are wet you will need to allow time for the clothes to finish drying.

Large Capacity and Quiet

Ive had this dryer for a few months now and have utilized several of the settings. I really like the built-in intelligence Thin-Q and ability to start remotely. I have not tried that feature yet. The Thin-Q notifies me when a cycle is finished. This is my 3rd LG dryer and they have not disappointed. I have an LG wash tower in our 2nd laundry in the basement and I absolutely love the integrated tower.

I love this dryer

Ive had my new dryer for 2 months now and I love it. The capacity is so big I can dry two wash loads in one dryer load. That saves me time and money. I love everything about it with one exception--the light inside the dryer only comes on when you first turn it on and when it signals it is done. I wish it came on and stayed on the whole time the door was open. Other than that one small thing its perfect.

I bought this dryer in September but because of the demanding I have to wait for over a month Id like the large capacity and smart wi-fi the Wi-Fi well note me when the cloths is dry and big capacity will allow me to to dry a big blanket

Great Front Load Dryer

This is my first front load dryer and its great has many drying features for different types of drying needs. So glad I read the Consumer Report reviews and selected this LG model. When clothes are dry the smart sensor shuts the dryer off in order not to waste electricity. Awesome
