We bought this dryer when our old one died because it was the largest capacity one I could find. The size and the fact that it dries are pretty much the best things about it. There are several frustrations though that keep me from recommending it. - Even when set to max dry it often doesnt get my clothes dried all the way. I have to follow up with a timed cycle. - The options for the pre-programmed and downloadable cycles are pointlessly limited. Sometimes you can change the temp sometimes not sometimes you can change the dry level sometimes not etc. This would be OK except... - There is no way to create and save your own cycle. I usually dry my clothes on medium low heat max dry level wrinkle care on. There is no way for me to preset this. Even my old dumb dryer would keep the previous settings until I changed them. It seems like a small thing but a dryer with this much tech built in should at least let me keep my settings. - Theres no drying rack to air dry without tumbling. Small thing but it is good to have and should be included with a dryer at this price. I cant recommend this dryer. Unless you really need the size and cant find anything else I would keep looking.

I received my LG turbo Steam dryer a month ago. I love the large capacity and the customized dry times are great and it is easy to use. I have yet to use the Wi-Fi feature but I am looking forward to trying it out. The sleek design is also nice

Pros: They look nice. They clean/dry well and are quiet. Cons: Drum light only comes on when you hit the power button not when opening the doors. Light button only works during a load. Front panel wording is off-white not backlit hard to see. Dial starts off on Normal but cant choose options you have to turn it again to Normal if using that setting to be able to adjust water temp spin etc. Settings dont save you have to adjust for every load even if you same loads back to back. I WOULD NOT BUY THESE AGAIN

The dryer operationally is very good. I like the total stainless steel tub large capacity multiple drying cycles and ease of use. However we needed to reverse the dryer door the repairmen could not get it done broken and stripped screws and ended up having replacement screws sent to us and my husband having to reverse the door.

Generally ok but disappointing that it doesnt store laundry detergent even though it has EZ Dispense. LG has too many models and terrible explanation of their real features. And their support is terrible. Also the 1st one came broken and now this one is leaking maybe an install problem. Took them 10 days to schedule a time to come.

I am disappointed with the dryer. While it does an excellent job drying there are several factors that bother me. Several things explained in the manual do not happen as advertised. Also the finish seems to be easily scratched. The installation was also done very poorly resulting in a second wasted day waiting for another crew to come out to fix the original installation problems.

Lots of room it takes a full load of king size bedding with no problem without being stuffed it has ample air to dry without the need for additional cycles . And the normal cycle with everyday clothing works the same these are really nice units with lots of options.

Ok I dont understand why you dont have it so I can dry my clothes on low a lot of clothes are supposed to be dry on low and sheets and comforters it should be a choice. So I have to use time dry on most things.

Weve had this ThinQ 9 cu ft dryer for 3 weeks it is stacked on and synced with an LG 5.2 ThinQ Washer . The Dryer is quite for its size and with all the room inside it drys very well as the clothes have air space instead of being over stuffed from a large load . Lots of drying choices plus Extra options when you sync your phone with the ThinQ app and it sends notifications when its done plus you can see how much time is left on the app. It also has a very good light inside and pleasant tone when it is done.

The dryer was delivered in an excellent condition and the installers were professional and efficient. One small inconvenience though I thought for Steam drying I could just pour water into an internal tank in the Dryer and not have to plumb in an external water line. Ok I really like my dryer. It takes less time to dry clothes. The hooking it up to the internet has been nothing but trouble I have yet to get it to work and the support number sent me to a different number and I got tired waiting for someone to answer.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this washer dryer I have a second home that I have had this washer dryer in for 11 years and it is still going strong. I was waiting for my old washer dryer to die in this house so I could replace them with the same LG washer dryer. The size is perfect...fits any large bedding you have and can handle multiple bathrooms of towels at the same time. Dries well runs quiet and is the most reliable washer dryer I have EVER had. The dryer works amazingly well. The only thing weve found so far thats an issue is that if theres one item inside the dryer thats still a little damp itll continue to increase the drying time of the entire load which causes us to think our clothes may start shrinking.

I have enjoyed the washer and dryer however you need to tell people about the eneregy saver on normal on the dryer. Even the repair man didnt know why it wasnt heating up on that cycle and was on others. What a waste of time and money having a repair man come out. It wasnt written in the start up book either. It was pretty upsetting to me and caused a lot of heart ache for nothing. The repair man had to call LG I was already upset the delivery person scratched the top and then this

Washer has a cracked washer basket. First load it leaked all over. Spent over 8 hours on the phone over the next week trying to get help from Lowes and LG. I have submitted information to them several times and now I must submit everything again to another department. Seems they could pass my information along as they pass me along. No offer to replace but they will refund my money back.

I like my new dryer. Its fast efficient and easy. Im not pleased that I cant use WI-FI Ive tried several time to connect without success. Im planning to work with the LG support team. I took 1 star because IMO connecting to WI-FI should be very easy.

We purchased this dryer along with the matching washer about a year ago and its been a great experience so far. It does a thorough job of drying even the largest loads of towels or large bulky items such as blankets. I havent had to use the steam feature yet because I havent had any problems with clothes being wrinkled after drying. Hands down my favorite feature is the LG Thin Q mobile app where I can see how much time I have left until my load is done. All of the appliances in my home are LG and I couldnt be happier with the look and performance of this brand.

I bought this after my divorce and my ex took everything including the appliances. I have 2 kids and needed something they called uber dryer. I love the extra capacity size perfect for larger items like comforters and blankets there is a feature to keep clothes wrinkle free after drying is comple and a steam feature that works great for freshening up clothes or for dry cleaning only. Its amazing and energy efficient. I am so happy that i found the perfect unit for my family cant say enough about this unit if you have the room it is a great investment and the price was reasonable for all its amenities.
