Got this to match our LG washer great features love the WI FI quiet. Only feature I have turned off is the energy saver reason is it runs with just air no heat at first takes longer obviously using more electricity we have a gas dryer so far the gas is less expensive than gas with that off drys great you can even have Alexa announce to you when the cycle is finished.

Cant really go wrong with an LG Appliance

Like most modern appliances this dryer has what seems to be an overly complex control panel. Is it really necessary to have a wi-fi enabled clothes dryer? Apart from that the dryer is very quiet and does a good job drying clothes. I really like the dual action door that can swing fully to the side for easy unloading or partially open vertically for easy loading from the washer. Nice.

The first day my husband connected the dryer we had an issue with the door sensor called Lg the person was extremely rude learned me to send proof that an electrician check the outlets first in order to send a technician when I kept telling her the washer was working fine and explained how when we hold the door the dryer worked fine.

They offer free installation for Gas dryer however they delivered it we have propane gas. Their RXO delivery team informed us they dont install propane. After 30+ calls I now have to return or pay myself for plumber to hook up. Never again

I bought this about 2 weeks ago and found features that the unit I replaced it with did not. A glass front door a light in the drum and a door that opens forward aways so that one could add something without opening the whole door.

My only complaint....And its minor...is that the door doesnt open downward all the way. I used to be able to fold some clothes on the door work my old machine but even though this door opens both to the side and down it doesnt go all the way down. Other than that its great

Needed to replace our 14 year old washer and dryer

We purchase appliances exclusively at Warners Stellian. We needed to replace our 14 year old washer/dryer setup and headed for WS. The sales person was very helpful and steered us to the LG dryer with the dual motion door. Were very happy with the dryer save the inability to read the operating panel options with out the use of a flashlight.

Easy to work controls. The washer shakes a bit during the rinse cycle Love the large capacity and the dual opening door on dryer. The dup came with $100 memorial rebate which has been extremely difficult to get since the desker has its own model numbers on receipt vs. the LG model numbers actually on the machines and are part of the rebate. That had not been a good experience

I bought a matching pair of LG washer and dryer. Ordered in March and took about 4-weeks to arrive. It was worth the wait. Just like my matching Washer all the controls are easy to understand and well laid out and runs very quiet. I have both appliances in my lower level but these could easily be put in a firsl floor laundry room without any added nois factor when running.

VERY DISAPPOINTED

I bought this dryer in January and am very disappointed. 1. The sensor drying determines a load to be dry when it is still damp 2. The drum light comes on when load completed and turns off when I open the door so the inside of dryer is dark when removing clothes 3. The dryer signal is set to high and I can barely hear it if at all when dryer completes its cycle 4. The door opens down yes but only half way so its difficult to reach clothes in back of dryer opening to the side is the wrong side and 5. THE WORST AND UNSAFE -- is if I use any of the sensoring settings energy saver or permanent press the gas going into the dryer goes on and off and leaves a residual smell of gas in the dryer when the door is opened. How to dispose of it is my question.

Love the top loader washer and dryer

Ive washed 14 loads in 12 days and am very happy with the washer and dryer. I had front loaders before and liked their convenience but because the washer had a tendency to smell I had to use powdered detergent and dryer sheets. Now I can use fabric softener and liquid detergent. I didnt think Id use the wifi monitoring but it comes in handy. So far Im liking the washer with no agitator lots of room and also lots of agitation without the agitator in the center of the washer. I was concerned Id have a difficult time getting the clothes out of the washer because the washer is deep but at 52 Ive had no problem.

Poor LG Company response

I bought my dryer two months ago and it would go off during drying. Called Geek Squad and fix was to turn off energy saver really? Dryer started to work better BUT PANEL LIGHT AND INSIDE LIGHT HAS GONE ON RANDOMLY SINCE I BOUGHT IT. I have at least 20 pics of different days and times. GEEK said to call LG since they have a one year mfg warranty and after several calls to them they continue to refuse to send an LG man to see the problem. Today GEEk is now coming to replace sensor and see if that works. Saving grace is that dryer works well. TERRIBLE LG CUSTOMER SERVICE. Im told this is made by Sears too bad they didnt take the Sears customer service training course. LG anybody listening?

I bought the washer and dryer. I connected the washer to Wi-Fi without a problem. I couldnt the dryer. I called and they asked why I didnt go back to the seller. I told them that we needed to hike up to propane. We hired a guy to do it because we didnt want to mess with it. He said that we would trouble shoot. He stated to go through the connection procedure and asked me about our Wi-Fi. I said I connected the washer. He then proceeded to say he couldnt help and they would charge me to send someone out. We just bought it two weeks ago. What a racket

Overall I really like this dryer Pros: the size is great It can fit a large load without any problems. Drys well especially if you use very dry or higher. Cons: The time dry button is a little touchy and you have to press the button a few times for it to react. A repair man came out and it got slightly better not perfect. I wish it would save my preferences from the last time I used a setting. For example every time I select normal I need to change the level of dryness from normal to very dry. Also area for the dryer vent is bulky. We did switch out the hose for a different type to take up less space.

I researched for best overall performance. And it can handle a big load. Rather than it senses when clothes are dry you chose the time. This is another step in starting the process. It has an easy to use cleaning filter that I really like. There are lots of featers that I have not yet used but probably will enjoy having them.
