Non working Dryer

Ive replace my old lag dryer with this one only to find out that it is not working. After going through all the hassle of taking off the old one and installing the new one on top of my washer. Still waiting for lg service to come and fix it. The service came after weeks of setting the appointment only to just take a look at the non working dryer and telling me that they will have to order all the possible parts that might have failed do I will have to wait several more weeks for them to get the parts and come back they didnt even open the dryer to test what part was not working. All a waste of time and hassle not having a working dryer so I have to pay to wash my clothes.

I bought this gas dryer from Best Buy. After Ive sold my old lg dryer and installing this new dryer it didnt work. The burner doesnt turn on. Ive been waiting for the service to come fix it for a month now.

Nice features and functioned as promised for first 15 months. Then the drum pulley system created a loud screeching noise whenever run. LG said even though it was related to the drum it was out of the 12 month warranty and would cost $350 for a repair man to fix. The rep reassured me that they would use genuine LG parts without acknowledging the irony of that statement. Likely it is a roller come loose but accessing those components requires disassembling nearly the entire unit. Wouldnt it be nice if they engineered the parts that are built to fail in an accessible area? Ultimately the fancy dial and sleek design mask the fact that its a poorly constructed and engineered unit that will work no better than the cheapest model they offer which comes with genuine LG parts for what thats worth.

RUINING MY LAUNDRY

I bought this dryer a little over 6 months ago. It worked great for about 4 months but then it started ruining my clothes There are deposits of black residue that seem to be melted onto all clothing towels blankets sheets etc that come out of that dryer. This residue is like a hard melted plastic or metal material that is sharp scratches the skin. The steam fresh cycle also is not great as it leaves wet areas on the clothing when the cycle ends. Very disappointing for such an expensive appliance

This washer and dryer combo has been over engineered to the point that it doesnt wash the clothes with so little water and the grill in the dryer gets black and puts a honeycomb print on all our clothes and blankets even when filled at 50.

Love everything about it the AI function is great because it solves figuring out what the best setting is for each load. The app is also great it reminds me to put the wash into the dryer if I forget and I always forget. The large capacity is nice and its very quite totally worth it

Dryer was damaged not LG fault. Replacement was on a 45 day delay. Had to return Washer + damaged Dryer and order a rival product that was available Light should go on when opening the doors. I shouldnt have to go through 3 or 4 steps to turn it on. Thats it.

The dryers settings are easy to navigate. Most things come out dry without having to do additional time. Im not crazy about the song it plays at the end of the cycle but I havent researched it to see if I can change that song.

Horrendous product and customer service

I bought the dryer in July and it stopped working by the beginning of December. Was still under manufactures warranty but they wont honor it. Technician came out multiple times orderd parts ect. Then says it is un-repairable. But LG wont replace it. I paid a ton of money for brand new LG equipment that doesnt work and LG just yanks you around. Ive been drying my clothes at other peoples houses for a month now after working a full day then taking care of kids so drying at other peoples house from 9 pm - 10 pm each night. Which is completely inconvenient and exhausting not to mention should be totally unacceptable.. All because LG wont honor what technician has said or the manufacturer warranty.
