I bought this installed in a new ground-up home had it serviced and have not run a successful load in it. Have spoken to four LG agents who have been unable to help. Two of the four have ended chat on me. LG refuses to send an agent and is unhelpful and unwilling to do anything useful. I want to return this item. Talk about buyers remorse.

We considered purchasing a stackable washer dryer but we ended up purchasing a side by side washer dryer. I have 7 living in my house hold so we do laundry almost everyday. We are finding during time has been reduced by at least 15 minutes and feel the performance beats our last dryer in every way. My only complaint is the dryer too dents very easily i barely leaned against it with my hand and it sank down at least 1/2. we only had it for 21/2 weeks before that happened so it left me a bit disappointed about the durability of this unit.

Thermal Regulator Fried

I purchased this dryer two years ago and it already needs service. When the LG affiliated and certified service man came to repair the machine he arrived with no parts and kept pushing out my appointment time. He also had the audacity to show up at my house without any notice to make the attempts to repair my machine. It is a cheap quality machine that is overpriced. Dont believe all the hype on the paid for internet reviews. This is my second machine in five years so shame on me for giving them another try.

Seems like it takes a long time to dry. Presently the appliance repairman is trying to get it to turn on. At first I got an error code eft1. He replaced the thermistor and circuit board. Now the cool ligjt blinks. They ordered a motor. I have been without a dryer for two weeks during the winter. The good news is I have the ABC Warehouse extended warranty and they will replace it but who knows how long it will take.

My dryer stopped working and I already had the LG washer so I went out looking for the mate to it. I have the LG 7900 steam series. I couldnt find it in the stores and most told me I would not be able to get it for months. Then I went on the LG site and it was delivered and installed within 3 days. Great service and a better price too. I love all the features. Drys great. No clothes still wet when it stops like my old one did.I love also that it has a two way door. Opens either a the top or side. It also is very quiet. I love the color too.

Lots of features questionable execution

I have been using this gas dryer for 5 months now and had hoped it would outperform my previous dryer not LG but it is been a let down. First off the NORMAL cycle never dries the clothes completely the first time even when when we turn off the default energy saver. Sometimes It requires 2 or 3 cycles to get the clothes dry. Secondly some of the drying cycles are excessively long 2+ hours. Thirdly the interior drum light will only come on right after the dryer shuts off 3 minute window otherwise it doesnt come on when you open the door. I called LG customer service about this issue. A Customer Service Representative tried to help me troubleshoot the problem and then finally said it is an energy saving feature what?. Another thing when the main burner comes on there is a like a thunderous roaring noise nothing excessive but our old dryer was quiet when the burner was on. I wish the door would open all the way down and not the clothes chute feature I dont find it at all convenient. One feature I was really looking forward to was the steam fresh. I was hoping the steam would remove wrinkles but its effectiveness against wrinkles is minimal. Overall my old dryer was a better appliance.

I purchased this dryer for the ease of operation and the steam option. I am so happy with the purchase. The ability to control dry temp load size and especially the refresh tumble and steam has been incredibly.

Very Thorough Machine

On the first day I used the machine it gave me the error message d80 err the error was not in the book anywhere so I looked it up on the internet and found out the machine was telling me that the lint pipe that leads outside was more than 80 blocked and that it could cause a fire. I appreciated that because as a new home owner I had no idea that I would need to clean that pipe out I thought it pretty much stays clean because it flies out. So I have had to order the kit to clean it out and so I have not had the opportunity to use the dryer more than once so far to see if it works really well. The only time it was used it worked really good. Everything fit and dried after about 45 minutes.

Great dryer I have had both the jumbo electric and the standard gas. Love that opens two ways and has steam cycles Only issue is sometimes presets still damp so I have to start another drying cycle .

Quiet with useful hamper door feature

It is very quiet. Despite having it a month there is still a lot to learn. It is currently humid summertime here in Louisiana so the more efficient normal cycle often doesnt quite get everything dry so we have had to throw some or all of the clothes back in and adjust the Dry level which means how damp the clothes are going in not coming out.

First week of use

After 7 loads everything looked and was going well until my shorts got caught wedge between the spinning drum and the door wall. Not happy with that situation. Expensive model gas dryer. I but the washer matching pair last year and I had wait until last month for the dryer. Good over all

This is a great dryer if you do mostly large loads. When doing small loads The sensors seem to turn the dryer off a bit soon requiring additional run time to complete the drying process.

Good Dryer

I bought this dryer a few weeks ago. So far its been fine. Im not pleased with the Energy Saver option that is the default for the Normal Cycle. While it doesnt use as much gas to dry the clothes it uses more the Air Dry function the dryer runs twice as long as consumes more electricity to run the cycle. Youre saving in one way but wasting in another.

Our top end LG dryer is 45 days old and already broke down the display panel does not work its been 3 weeks to get it repaired. You call for service and you cant speak to anyone. The first repair appointment was to determine the issue no repair parts on the service technicians truck. The follow-up repair appointment one week later the service company cancelled our appointment 6pm the night before the repair was to take place. No weekend appointments.

Seemed like my last dryer took many cycles to dry properly-this works great. Also like that you can open the door chute style. A feature I didnt know I needed was the app that can let me know when the load is done Awesome dryer

Purchasing this dryer one month ago I love it. I like the feature that tells how long the cycle will take. It has many selections to customize drying. I love the feature of the door being able to swing out or down i only wish the down was a liittle lower. Everything dries complely during the cycle. I would buy this again
