I bought a warranty through the seller and my dryer igniter went out. Called the seller and they couldnt get a tech out for almost 3 weekscalled LG customer service because I was still under warranty and they sent some out in two days and it was fixed. Customer service is incredible communicative and pleasant. You get to talk to a real person with a sense of humor too Im crabby I got the warranty through the seller.

Newer Dryer Not Improved

Had this dryer for about 7 months and its definitely not as good as my last LG Dryer. I had a company come and clean my dryer vent out to make sure there were no issues there. The drying times are longer than my last dryer and clothes sometimes do not get fully dried. For example I did a load of clothes yesterday on Normal setting. It runs an astounding 1 hour and 3 minutes on the Normal setting. Half of the clothes were not fully dry so I had to hang them up on hairs and hangers until dry. My Gas bill is higher since I bought this Dryer and the associated Washer.

The finish on the top of this dryer has scratched up in a few months of use for 2 adults. It looks like a 15 year old dryer. Called LG and was told there is not a warranty for cosmetic issues. The finish is obviously poor quality. LG wants me to call the store where it was purchased and the store says to call LG. Runaround Save yourself the trouble and do not buy

AWFUL

This dry and washer combo are THE WORST They dont clean OR dry. The washer doesnt add enough water to cover the clothes it doesnt move the clothes around enough to clean them. The dryer doesnt fit a comforter although the washer claims to wash one it doesnt get it clean. 80 of the time the clothes are still damp even after troubleshooting according to the manual. The wi-fi shut down after a month of using it and the drum broke after 1 year. DONT BUY Three different family members all bought this because of the amazing reviews and they all hate it. I cant get rid of it fast enough. I HATE it and have had it for 2.5 years.

No dryer for the holidays

Horrible customer service and terrible appliance. My dryer broke down December 5 2023 and its still not fixed. They said the parts on back order. Today is December 202023 and we still have no dryer and a house full of guests coming in two days to stay here over the holidays How will I do this with out a dryer??? LG doesnt care neither does Home Depot. Who knows when Ill get my dryer fixed. Bumming for the holidays.
