Worst install instructions and support

The absolute worst install instructions. Says its convertible to be a recirculating hood. All you have to do is secure the wall diverter plate and purchase charcoal filters. I have spent the past two days looking up what the wall diverter plate is and the part number for the charcoal filter. NOTHING Absolutely nothing anywhere on the entire internet that tells you what the wall diverter plate is and the charcoal filter model #. This is ridiculous Customer service is not helpful. They keep directing me back to the user manual. Which says see page 10 for charcoal filter parts info. Nope. Nothing there. No explanation or diagram on what the wall diverted plate is either. And dont respond to me with your automated message of contact us here on our social media. You have my email. You contact me. If I dont get resolution I will be returning this product. Help me change this 1 star review to a 5 star review

We purchased an entire suite of LG appliances in July 2022. A gas range range hood refrigerator microwave and dishwasher. The range hood has proven to be the most unsatisfactory of all. Even in light of the Black Stainless finish peeling off of the refrigerator. First it refuses to respond to any attempt to turn on the fan or light if your fingers are at all damp or if you try using any other part of your hand. A real drag when youve just rinsed them and the skillet starts smoking. Most recently however it has completely outdone itself. One day when I noticed the light was on I attempted to turn it off. My hands were dry but I guess my fingers mustve been too cold because it wouldnt turn off. Oh well I thought at least it will be on when I need it next. Later I noticed that it was off. I didnt remember turning it off so I tried to turn it on again. No response. No response to any other efforts either. The unit is now completely dead. The next day May 13 2024 after several attempts I was able to reach a human being Arman at LG who was very helpful. He gave me another number to call which put me in touch with Rick who assigned me a reference number CNN240513112581 and told me that I would receive a call back within 48 hours to schedule a service visit. I got that call and scheduled service on May 16 2024. On May 16 the service technician found a bug in one of the circuits but after replacing that one and several others he was unable to solve the problem. He promised to return early the next week but called then to inform that the parts had not arrived. A few days later he did return but once again after replacing everything he was able to replace the range hood was still unresponsive. He told me he would order a complete replacement and that I should hear something the next week. On May 29 2024 I received a text message from Tyeshia a Presidential Liaison with LG asking for the FULL pages sic of my proof of purchase so that she could see where it was purchased and the price and sales tax information. I sent her copies of all 6 pages. Next day May 30 not having gotten a response I sent her a text asking for confirmation of receipt of the documents she had requested. Later I sent a 2nd request no response to either. Today May 30 I sent Tayeshia another text. Not surprisingly no response. So I called customer service at 888-865-3026 and waited 32 minutes before hanging up. I have no idea what to do next. My advice at the very least DO NOT PURCHASE AN LG RANGE HOOD

I had this hood installed in our new home recently and it has absolutely no suction power. When I contacted LG to have a service technician inspect it I was given a number for a company that no longer services hoods. Additionally LG tried to blame the malfunction of the hood on the installation even though the installers had already confirmed that it was an issue with the hood itself. Very poor quality appliance and even more disappointed with the lack of customer service.
