I have had my LG DISHWASHER for less than a month. Just an hour ago my daughter was observing the manual and apprised me of how smart the dishwasher is and it truly is smart. It scans the dishes for how dirty they are plus it saves you on your electricity. Cant go wrong with that at all. And its quiet.

Nice dishwasher but...

I received my dishwasher a few weeks ago. The buttons are on the outside instead of the top making it very easy to lean against the dishwasher and start the unit. I find I have to put a cloth between the doors to keep it from going off. So basically if the door is closed and you lean up against it very easy to do since it is on the side of the kitchen counter the unit will go on. It takes about a minute to start and will only do so if you press the START button but it still waits for you to start the button. If you do not press it within that time it will stop on its own so it never actually goes on unless you press the second button but still annoying to have to press the stop button or wait for it to stop on its own.

I bought this dishwasher about two months ago on sale. Overall Im satisfied with it. It cleans pretty well. However it is not quiet. The dry setting doesnt work well. Ive had issues with the rollers popping off the bottom rack making it difficult to slide the rack in and out.

I hate it Like another reviewer said if you lean over the counter and accidentally press a button it messes everything up. Not good for organizing dishes everything falls over. Worst of all my dishes are never clean. Ive tried every setting recommended and they are still dirty. My dishes are always wet. The heated dry doesnt dry well at all. I may as well wash by hand and dry if Im doing that anyway.

Terrible to organize dishes

This is the worst dishwasher for organizing your dishes. Top shelf doesnt raise and the bottom rack has holder that you can raise up and down to accommodate for dishes but its still not very functional. They always fall. Silverware has a huge handle in the way and makes it difficult to take silverware in and out. A man designed this. It cleans well though. This was installed in my new home so its brand new but I need it replaced. oh and if your dishwasher is running and you lean on it and accidentally turn it off you have to turn it on and start all over

This dishwasher does a pretty good job cleaning even old dried plates. Once in a while have to rerun some of the silverware. The major complaint is that my dishes are drenched aand I have to open the door to air dry after finishing. Large puddles of water and dishes completely drenched but better than me washing by hand.

I bought this dish-washer and it broke down on me three times. I have the manufacturers warranty as well as the Best Buy Geek squad protection plan. The dishwasher tub rusted and eventually a got a whole on it that lead to a leak and the dishwasher being irreplaceable. I reached out to LGs support and it was the worst costumer service experience ever All the employees were actively ignoring me being very dismissive and even ghosted my phone calls. I received NO help from LG I am NEVER buying another LG product or appliance. Its been two months of my dishwasher being broken and they washed off their hands from any responsibility. For costumers do not buy this awful appliance. For LG get better costumer service at the end of the day without happy costumers you dont have much.

I was very picky when it was time to replace my old dishwasher. After reading through a ton of review I ended up going with this LG. I am extremely happy that I did. It is aesthetically very pleasing the installation was seamless and it operates like a dream. I am very happy with how clean the dishes are but I am also quite impressed with how quiet the unit is. Motor is going out and no customer service

We bought this dishwasher from Best Buy in September 2021 and even though there is supposed to be a 10 year warranty on the drive motor it is going out 1.5 years later My husband and I contacted a private repair company to set up repair but he recommended we contact LG. We contacted LG multiple times and they were supposed to contact our repair technician but it has been over a month and we still have yet to hear anything or have the issue resolved. Very unhappy with customer service at this point and would not recommend another LG product to any family or friends.

This machine came pre-installed in the home I purchased. Ive been using it for over a month now and it has to be one of the quietest machines ive ever used or been around. It cleans dishes quite well I havent yet noticed any funky odors coming from it. I could be sitting in my kitchen when its running and hardly notice it working just the occassional running water noise but easy to carry a conversation over it without raising your voice. Great for those spaces where the living room and kitchen arent separated and it needs to run.

Excluding issues with the delivery and installation the dishwasher works as expected. The only issue is that it turns on if you lean against it when doing something else at the counter or cabinet above it. Stomach starting the dishwasher comparable to butt dialing your phone. One also tends to forget about the maintenance to clean the filter periodically.

This dishwasher is 10x better than any dishwasher Ive previously used. For the price point Im thoroughly surprised at the feature set and how nice the unit looks. My house uses well water and because of this Ive had to periodically check for buildup on the sprayer heads and near the drain. All parts have been very easy to disassemble clean and then assemble again.

Touchy control panel

My review first the dishwasher is a 5 OTHER than the fact that the touch pads are WAAAYYY too touchy. The slightest of brushes against it turns it on and off mid cycle. Needs to be a touch for 2-3 seconds or something like the LG washers and dryers. Way too touchy

Quite honestly this was installed a few weeks ago and the dishes never dry. They can stay in the washer after being washed for over a day - and there is still water on the dishes. I have never had to dry dishes with a towel after removing them from a dishwasher. The LG Service line was not helpful - just told me to read the manual which I did - no help.

Dishwasher has been installed for about 3 weeks. Absolutely cannot be run during the night. This is the loudest dishwasher I have ever heard. Additionally every time we pull the bottom rack out the rack comes off the track. Expected better from LG. Does clean well.

I love my dishwasher It works great on cleaning the dishes silverware and glasses. It even cleans the pots and pans. The only problem is there really isnt much room for the pots and pans once you put the plates and bowls in. I wish the racks were made for more cookware. Still a great machine for the price

This machine was installed 1 day ago. I dont know who designed the electronics and what he was smoking at the time. Why do you need to read a book just to start and stop the machine. Also the book is wrong. when the cycle says END the book says until the door is opened. You cannot open the door until the power button is pressed. This machine . is a joke . It is over designed.

I wanted a dishwasher that was quiet and didnt have a 3rd rack LG was my pick. I like the large continuous line of dish racks so I can put in 14 place settings without any problem. The upper rack is also well thought out and can be adjusted if necessary. A good working piece of equipment.
