Great Fridge with few flaws

Love the fridge so much space. The adjustable shelves are a bit weird on the door I ended up 3D printing some parts to better accommodate our needs. The only negative I can mention is the ice maker the ice is smelly and weve only had the fridge for 6-7 months. The fridge doesnt smell and the freezer doesnt smell. As a test I put an ice cube tray in the freezer and made ice it never smells. There is definitely something with the ice maker that I need to address.

The Convert Drawer is something I didnt know I needed until I had it. I can put cases of soda cand directly in the drawer or put soda bottles in loose. I wish the shelves had more adjustments in height.

In July of 2024 we purchased an LG French Door Refrigerator with a flex drawer. This is a great refrigerator/freezer. If the doors or drawers are left open too long theres a dinging sound to alert the owner that the refrigerator is not secure. We can find items easily and it does not matter which refrigerator door is closed first

We bought this refrigerator about 6 weeks ago so weve had a bit of time to assess it. Pros: It is a great frig with plenty of room. The app is okay but doesnt do that much actually but is nice to see the temperature status. Unfortunately the actual temperature isnt display only whether its reached the setpoint. Cons: The refrigerator was delivered with a dent in the Stainless steel full convert drawer-we call it the deli drawer. I called after 4 days and expected a new drawer within 7-10 a month later and many many calls with 2 separate deliveries of not the drawer but the plastic inside tray for the drawer. We ended up speaking to our local Home Depot and traded the drawer for one from the display refrigerator they had on hand. We appliance manager and myself got tired of trying to communicate and not getting the information across to LG support. The problem: language barrier It was brutal trying to understand the person on the other side of the line. Still we love the refrigerator

I really like my refrigerator. From time to time the middle drawer doesnt slide smoothly. And I wish someone would have told me to peel off the exterior shipping film. I thought the fingerprint protection coating was coming off. Otherwise its a good fridge.

I have had the LG30S8210S for 3 days - and cannot determine how the icemaker works. Sometimes I press the button for cubed ice and nothing happens. At other times I press the button and actually get ice The ice plus feature does nothing. The icemaker seems to have a mind of its own. What is the trick to getting ice when I want it.

I love my new fridge Ive had it for a couple of months and it works just like I hoped. I chose to skip the outside dispenser for more room inside. My food is lasting longer. Im using the middle drawer for things we grab during the day like drinks snacks and dog food. The filtered water is cold when refilling my bottle. The freezer is well lit with lots of room. I found it on sale at the price I was hoping to pay black Friday.

Bought this refrigerator March 13 2024. Fridge quit working mid July. Tech came out July 19th said we needed new cooling seal system. Another tech installed new sealed system on July 30th. we were without unit for 2 weeks. Unit went out again Sept 24th. Still waiting on parts on October 21. The repair company scheduled 3 times to come out each time cancelling because the parts are not in. Since new March 13th unit has been down 6 weeks. Total junk. I dont meet the requirements for a buy-back but they wont tell me what those are.

I couldnt find this model in stores to check certain measurements for myself. Like most we have a very specific space. The doors require quite a few inches of extra width to open them all the way. Huge amounts of storage Love the convertible drawer. However it has slots for 4 dividers and only comes with 1. AND you cant buy more??? Why wont you sell me an overpriced piece of plastic? I alsonwushed this model could be optioned with the collapsible shelf for tall items. Granted the door shelves have a massive amount of storage. Its been a good appliance in the couple of months Ive had it. It arrived with dented doors. Not the fridges fault. LG service was quick to replace them. Takes a bit to get used to no handles but once you do its nice. Easy to keep clean and sleek looking. There isnt an inch of space wasted anywhere. Shes a big girl

Weve this unit for about a month now. Seems so much bigger than the old fridge also a 30 cubic foot LG that lasted 15 years. A little hard to get used to the no handles but we have figured it out. Using the middle drawer as extra fridge space as the freezer is more than adequate.

I LOVE this fridge There is so much space. The drawers can fit so much and the pockets on the doors can hold a lot I love the clean look of the front with no handles. We are using the convertible drawer as a place for cold snacks so the doors of the fridge do not have to be opened as much.

This fridge is vast and well designed so that it uses the space well. I moved almost everything over from my previous super-full fridge and there is still so much space. It looks empty I like the shelf design and the freezer opens and closes with ease. Plenty of freezer space as well. I have cheese and butter in extra drawer but Im glad it can be used to chill wine for a party or as a freezer - it would be great for freezing portioned cookie dough or berries prior to bagging.

Its so beautiful and works exactly as it should. It came with scratches on all the doors when we pulled the film off but its being taken care of. Just waiting to schedule a date to replace them. The fridge is so big and very easy to configure all the big items with loving shelves to suit you. The freezer is perfect and both temps run smoothly. I used to move the temp back and forth on my other fridge. The stainless is fingerprint proof and and easy to clean. It is an adjustment to use the bottom handles but you get used to it. Im so pleased with it overall and cannot wait until they replace my scratched doors.

Followed LG spec sheet for this refrigerator and literally measured our space few times to be sure. We had plenty of clearance - more than called for on the spec sheet so ordered the fridge. Installed. Not enough room for the doors to open on the left side. Turns out the hinges and size of these doors actually require a few inch larger space than on the spec sheet. Now I am stuck with a fridge and doors on one side are not able to open. Called Customer Service. They were supposed to call me to discuss options. Still waiting since June 11...

Weve had this refrigerator for 2 months now and we love it Storage is perfect for our family. I thought I wouldnt like the water dispense inside but its great With our old fridge the water dispenser was on the outside. The water residue and clean up was a nightmare Having the optional climate control drawer is cool too. The only issue we have with the refrigerator is the vegetable drawer. Its more of a user error I think. We notice some vegetables start to wilt faster than others. I think whats happening is the coldness in the veg drawer is sucking the moister out to fast so things like broccoli and parsley wilt faster. Bought some green bags and problem is solved Ill have to send an email to LG customer service to see what setting I should use so this doesnt happen. I still gave this LG refrigerator 5 stars because the whole family loves it and we have been very satisfied with it Thanks LG

DONT BUY AN LG REFRIGERATOR

We bought an LG model LF30S8210S.ASTCNA0 serial #308KRKSL3797 from Costco at the beginning of the year six months ago. The unit was fine in the beginning but would shut itself off occasionally. That began within a month of buying the unit. Id check the breaker and it was fine. Id unplugged the fridge and plugged it back in and it would work. The fridge self powering down was happening more and more. Then one day it began to blow the breaker. I followed the instructions of the LG people and noted you could hear a sizzling sound from the plug when it was plugged in. That began in month three of ownership. I called for service. Service number one happened and the guy told me it was my outlet. We called our electrician and they checked the wiring. This is a dedicated refrigerator circuit put in by these guys one of the top electrical companies in our area. The electricians changed out the breaker and outlet at my request and my cost. Result the sizzling was still there and the circuit would blow. Service number. I received a board at my house and the LG techs showed up to replace it. They went through a litany of tests and called a senior tech at LG during the service call. It was on speaker phone and I could hear the whole thing. They couldnt figure it out and told me it was the electrical system in my building. I called the electricians back and they have no idea what LG is talking about. Everything looks and tests out perfectly. At this point the fridge doesnt respond at all even with the new board and LG is insisting its my buildings fault. The only solution according to the Costco Warranty provider is to keep sending out technicians that cant fix it. I want my money back.

Good Refrigerator/Broken Icemaker

Overall the refrigerator is quite nice. However it came with a cracked fitting on the icemaker. Contacted Customer Service and after several minutes with the virtual assistant they ordered the part to be shipped to me for me to install. Part came in a week later and ...wrong part. Got back on Virtual Assistant and they assured me they would send the right part. Have not received an email notifying me of part shipping 5 days later. So Ive had the refrigerator 1 month and Im expected to replace the bad part myself if it ever gets here and I still have no functioning icemaker. I have had and still have several LG products. This is the first one Ive had issues with.

LG has been an Awful experience the door was damaged upon delivery and they told me if i keep the fridge they would send me another door. Three weeks later they still will not respond on the request for a new door. I sent them every pic and receipt that they asked for. Home depot is now trying to contact them and help but still no response.

We just bought this refrigerator. We like that there is nothing on the doors the amount of room inside is great. There are just a couple of things I would like to see adjustability of the door bins more than 1 divider for the convertible drawer and that the ice bin/top freezer shelf comes out with the main drawer when you open the drawer afterall 90 of the time youre going in for ice anyway. It could be as simple as a notch that the wheels drop into.

Review might be misleading. The refrigerator is better than good but it had a problem with the convert drawer. The drawer was difficult to pull out or push in. However LG responded to a national alert about the drawer and a fix was quickly resolved. Refrigerator is huge makes great ice and is very stylish.
