No surprise its massive discount. Had this fridge for 2 years then it crapped out on us but was showing problems often throughout. Many times it did not make ice and had issues with temperature. Then at 2 years old it completely broke down on us with the F and EE error code. It ruined all of our food in both freezer and cooler section and we had to call for a repair technician to come out and fix it costing us $450. Insane on a 2 year old product. Never buying LG again.

Purchased 1 month ago. Holds temperature within a couple degrees of display. Temperature is near uniform within cabinet and door shelving. No indication of ice buildup on either freezer drawer as some have experienced. Cabinet interior is basic and does feel inexpensive with little adjustability. Only complaint to date is that the door shelves need taller sides and/or movable dividers as tall items fall over when you close the doors. Ice maker is slow to fill bin but does hold more ice than an in door ice maker. Having a 4th door allows easier access to ice than having to open a large lower freezer drawer but does limit total freezer capacity. Overall I am satisfied with purchase.

My 2-year-old LG fridges condenser fan started making screeching noises and failed. I contacted support three times about the issue and each time they told me it was not under warranty. When I explained that the condenser parts and labor had a 5-year warranty and shared the documents to prove it they insisted it wasnt covered and that the repair would cost $500. It wasnt until I posted the a video noise and on X/Twitter that I was able to get in touch with someone else. Once again I had to explain and show my warranty documents before they finally admitted it was covered. I am convinced they make this process so difficultperhaps to discourage people from reporting issues allowing them to claim they are the most reliable brand. The technician came but it has now been three weeks without a fridge due to delays in customer support and the time it takes to order a part. This all happen during Thanksgiving thankful it was not my turn to host this year.

I purchased this refrigerator from Costco 3 years ago with a 2-year warranty. I have made three calls for warranty repair. The top door over center closer that keeps the door closed broke. The top metal cross bar on the top freezer drawer rusted. Finally both upper and lower freezer drawers seals had to be replaced. The design and utility of this unit is very nice The double freezer drawers make it easy to get at items tucked away. An improvement in quality materials would make this a great product. If it wasnt for the 2-year warranty Costco provides I would have purchased another refrigerator. 3 repairs in three years is not a good track record for what could be a great product.

The old LG bait and beer refrigerator bit the dust in a 10 foot storm surge Helene. We decided to get a bigger fridge to hold food for outdoor dining house is on 17 foot pilings. Found this one on sale for not much more than the old one cost. Love the space and trust LGs reliability. Icemaker is slow but we have a separate machine to make ice.

Great service I called customer service on a Friday to report a squeaking condenser fan. The CS agent was very courteous and got me scheduled for the following Tuesday. I received text messages and emails regarding the service call. The only issue was that the part did not come in in time for the Tuesday service call. However the serviceman came by anyway to see if he could get me running until the part arrived. The service call was rescheduled for two days later Thursday. The serviceman arrived on time Thursday after calling me that he was on his way. He completed the repair very quickly. Great job

I needed a new fridge to replace my old one that was leaking water. I also needed counter depth. I got both with this new fridge It fits so nicely now in the space. I love the two drawer freezer. The french doors hold a lot of things. The ice maker works great. I like the water dispenser inside however I wish the button to press for water was a little bigger. Changing the water filter was a breeze. Overall I love this fridge Would highly recommend

This is a replacement for an identical model that could not be repaired in spite of numerous attempts. This replacement is having a similar problem with condensation and ice building up on the top of the lower freezer drawer. A part was ordered and installed but condensation continues to form on the top of the bottom drawer.

Nice product that has issues. First issue: The refrigerator is advertised as a SMART device. I contacted LG and worked with them and they gave me another number to call for ThinQ devices. We will see where that goes. Second issue: the ice maker dumped its first ice in tray last Friday. Three days have gone by and that is the only ice it has dumped. Another call. Glad I purchased this through Costco

Freon leak within the first two years. The warranty was really hard to get it fixed. Love the fridge and features but otherwise I would probably not buy again knowing what I know about their warranty side of the house. The tech no showed no calls more than twice. Left messages and his voicemail was full. He only contacted us once and left a message. .

I bought And paid for this in April 2023. I didnt get it until June because the first one was scratched. Well July 15 2024 it broke. It was making such a horrible loud noise. I couldnt even hear the TV. Call the service center and it was the $350 later. I had my refrigerator back. Very very unhappy with this LG refrigerator I thought it was a good product and I bought my stove microwave and dishwasher as well.

I bought this refrigerator a month ago and I had a few hiccups with the handles not being delivered but once I got the handles it has been great. The refrigerator features so far have been good I havent hooked up the new water line as of yet. It keeps it cool and I love the sleek look of everything. The only down side I would say is the freezer sections are smaller than anticipated but with proper reorganizing it works good.

We just got this refrigerator 3 days ago. Have run at least 6 gallons of water thru the water dispenser it still tastes BAD The ice on the other hand is fine??? Anyway we purchased the extended warranty called 800 243 0000 spoke with Mann. She told us our problem was with our copper line which has been fine prior to this new refrigerator I was then transferred to her supervisor Kate. Kate was extremely rude wouldnt listen to us kept talking over us when we were trying to explain that the problem is with their refrigerator. Then we called back talked to Zai. She wouldnt budge off the original phone call with Kate Mann. All we want is to have good tasting water. Why do we have good tasting ice but bad water both come out thru the exact same water line. Which LG wants us to totally replace all of our copper water line. Anyway Id never recommend LG AT ALL Terrible terrible customer service. At this point we havent gotten any satisfaction from LG

I bought this refrigerator in April 2022. There were ongoing issues with the freezer icing up frost build up and water and moisture accumulating on the top of the bottom freezer drawer. After several visits from the technician and numerous part replacements the refrigerator was replaced with the same model on September 25 2023. The new refrigerator has begun to exhibit the same problems. Now we have a new technician who has ordered new parts so here we go again. I would not recommend this product to anyone. In fact I have asked to have a replacement with a different model refrigerator and am awaiting a response to my request.

Purchased this French door refrigerator new in 2022. No energy savings compared to our 2005 model but at least it wasnt worse. Overall seemed acceptable until the freezer fan failed at 2yrs. Tried to schedule LG service via chat and phone. Took 9 people and 3hrs combined to schedule. Thats crazy and not in a good way. Earliest appointment was 1.5 weeks out which meant all the refrigerator contents needed to be tossed. Looked for the freezer fan part online at LG and it was out of stock for 4 weeks. Widely out of stock online but finally tracked one down at a 3rd party. Repaired the refrigerator the next day by myself. Overall I am very dissatisfied with LGs customer service. They have huge room for improvement.

I bought this 4 years ago and wish I didnt. Everything in freezer started defrosting. After MANY phone calls to LG and repair persons I had had it and was on the phone for one hour with LG trying to speak to a supervisor. Finally they reluctantly agreed to give me $200 for my food loss. I was promised an email to confirm BUT I never received it. Totally disgusted with LG. I did love this refrigerator when it was working. PS I did NOT receive this product free OR at a discounted price. It was over $2000

Wanted a French door counter type refrigerator like the LG one we had that died after 10 years. Considered all brands but only LG had the French door design we liked with no ice maker in the door instead in the freezer for greater reliability. That was a problem spot for us in our previous refrigerator. Reduced rating from 5 to 4 because the interior has been significantly cheapened from our old refrigerator.

Replaces a 10 yr old LG French Door with ice maker in door. Experienced lots of trouble with ice maker but still wanted a French Door. Looked at all brands but LG was one of the few that had a counter top French Door model with ice maker in freezer a simpler design than in the door. Layout and shelves are excellent but more flimsy than in our previous LG. Nevertheless provides lots of room and more space on the door without the ice maker. Initially had problem making ice. Called LG and they sent an excellent repairman to fix it. Cause was original installer Costco pinched the water hose behind the refrigerator.

Have had the fridge for almost 3 years now. It works great and I like the quick ice option that it has. Unfortunately a few weeks ago the compressor went out and we had to wait nearly a week to get a technician out to look at it. We had to get rid of some food in there thankfully we did not have a full refrigerator. I thought it was awful quick for a key piece of the refrigerator to go out in less than 3 years. I do like it. The door style and when it is working is perfect for me and my family. I gave it a 4 due to that.

Was good for FOUR years. Failing now and NO help from LG even though under Warranty. They tout 24-7 Service? They cant get Anyone out here until 11 days later I was told to put food in Coolers? Until service? I have shrimp scallops filet mignons in freezer that are slowly defrosting. I was told by Numerous repair persons that it is NOT worth even touching due to the poor compressors LG installed AND that the repair would be costly. Plus numerous people reported that the same problem occurred AFTER the repair. Disgusted with LG and I am telling people in stores to NOT BUY their refrigerators. Sorry LG but you have NO compassion for a 75 year old customer who is in a quandary about what to do. REIMBURSE me for my trouble and aggravation.

Never buy an LG Refrigerator

Had the refrigerator for less than five years. Never really kept the freezer below zero. Hear a pop noise and smelled something electrical burning. Called repair service. They said the main computer panel was bad. Ordered replacement. Took a week to get it and in the mean time we spent hundreds on dry ice and purchasing another small refrigerator for 200 bucks to keep the food from going bad and thawing. Repairman came a week later replaced the computer board. The refrigerator worked ed for about five minutes and the board went out again. Repairman said the compressor was shorting out and not working. Our last refrigerator was a GE and lasted 30 years with no problems. This LG was a disaster from the start. Never again. Even though the five year warranty is still good on the compressor we have decided just to chuck this piece of garbage and get an American made product.

Great fridge unreliable ice maker

I like the design of the fridge. It has lots of room and many compartments. I like having two freezer drawers. The fridge will also beep and alert sound of you leave the doors ajar. My ice machine stopped working after 6 months. I could not figure out how to get it to work again. It randomly starts working now. However its not consistent. It would cost a minimum of $400 to have someone come out and look at it so I passed on that.

Condensation freezing between the drawers

The height and depth are perfect. The water and ice is great The fridge keeps stuff cold and the freezers keep stuff frozen... BUT - the seal between the two drawers has constantly caused problems. We had a tech come during the warranty time and all he did was use a air dryer to warm up the seal. I cant even find the part numbers to replace the torn center seal. I have hesitated to even call another tech because I hate to pay to have them do the same fix. Suggestions for where to find a replacement seal?

Bought the new french door refrigerator and had it deliverd and installed by Costco. Looks good and is in my opinion very quiet when running. Great job of initial cooling as it was jammed full of all the items removed from the old fridge One glitch only and that was the ice maker not making ice. Called LG and had a new replacement ice maker installed by LG direct in only three days. Has very easy to see temp controls which are also easy to adjust. Love this new fridge. I should mention I am an amateur chef and therefore I use equipment much more intensely than most folks.

I got this LG Refrigerator in November 2023 and could not be happier. It is very well laid out with generous space well beyond what I typically think a 23 cubic foot refrigerator would be. It replaced a larger capacity high end Samsung that just could not store as much in. I also really like the double drawer freezer it is so much more convenient to use than a single drawer. I rate this product high because it is well thought out and suits my needs perfectly.

Way too tough to get real help the automated system is useless. When I finally got a human on the phone they told me it would be around $500 to have someone show up plus plus plus. I called a local appliance repair guy and he came for $125 and fixed my fridge.

We have had some challenges. The layout is fine we like the freezer on the bottom but our experience with other similar models seems to indicate moving the cold from bottom to top compartments is a problem in the long run. If buying a 2d fridge I recommend a simpler top freezer model. This model is about 2 degrees warmer than we have set the temp for in the upper compartment verified with 2 different temp gauges. We opted to forgo the ice delivery in the door- more room and less things to go wrong. If we want cold water we have a water cooler and that is all it does.
