Never again will we buy an LG

Our LG under warranty refrigerator stopped working on Christmas Eve last year. A repair guy was sent out three weeks later parts were ordered but the repair guy said he couldnt get back for two to four weeks. We complained numerous times and LG agreed to send a replacement which was not delivered until Feb. 6th. The water on the new appliance would not dispense and the delivery people said there was nothing they could do. We started calling LG and was able to get a repair guy 2 weeks later he ordered parts 2 weeks later he installed the parts but not only would water not dispense but now no ice. He ordered more parts came back two weeks later and same story no change and after consulting with LG said they would send a new door and other parts. Again two weeks fourth service call later the new door was installed and other parts. Guess what no change
The repair guy sent a message to LG and they called him back this time the repair guy left his phone on speaker. He informed LG that after installing the door and parts no change. The LG representative told the service rep the unit was not repairable and he would issue an RA. The service guy had me sign the bill and had written not repairable. I called LG and they said they had to wait to get the report from the repair guy. A few days later I called LG and was told they still had not received the report. I called the service company and was told they had sent it but tghe wolud send it again. Two days later I called LG and was told the case was closed applianced repaired and working. I couldnt believe it finally talked to a supervisor who asked me to send him a copy of the service report which I did. He told me LG had miscoded the case and he would reopen and send for approval to resolve. Also said someone would call me in 24 to 48 hours no one did.
I sent a message to the LG President from their website someone called me back quickly. She said her records show the case resolved after a heated exchange she said that only LG can deem a unit not repairable I argued again that I heard the LG rep on the phone She said LG was aware this was an issue with their refrigerators and a part could take care of it. She also said she would get another service rep to our house
In closing a fifth service call for a problem that LG was aware of is coming to our house next week Sorry for the long story but this is our second LG refrigerator that has not operated properly for three months and they cant get it right
