I bought this dishwasher through Costco. It is just my husband and I so it doesnt get a lot of use. The floor plate will not stay on. For the last year the HE message has been coming in and the dishes are not drying. I ignored it but now it is a problem dishes arent coming clean and no heat. I wouldnt buy this again.

Never buying another LG

Dishwasher had issues within 2 years. Trying to get the appliance serviced was a nightmare. This is my 3rd LG appliance and 2nd experience with trying to schedule service. Wasnt worth my time to go through various customer service agents to properly diagnose and schedule service. I ended up replacing this appliance with a non LG appliance so it can be serviced by independent repair companies vs going through LG. A lot of independent repair companies will not repair LG.

Had to fix after 2 years

Rubber hose connector that pulls water to the upper two levels deformed after 2 years stopped supplying water up and prevented the lower arm to spin. We called LG support but they were useless. Googled ordered the piece and replaced ourselves. The machine started washing as normal Spent around $100 for the detail only. No idea why the hose connector deformed or when it happens again. the dishwasher is quiet spacious washes well until it doesnt.

I purchased the dishwasher online from LGs website. I paid for delivery and installation. When it was delivered the driver said they could not install the dishwasher as there was a small corner cabinet that increased the run from the dishwasher to the water and drain the standard size hoses they had were not long enough and they didnt carry any longer hoses on their truck. So they unboxed it and left in the garage. We had to get it installed elsewhere. It took weeks to get a refund of the delivery fee. 3 contacts with customer service numerous contacts with the social media team on X finally got my refund processed. I love the dishwasher but the installation issue which could have been avoided by just carrying the longer hoses on the truck overshadowed that.

When Quiet Counts

A couple of years ago my husband and I downsized and sold the home we raised our children in. We moved to a warmer climate and bought a condo half the size of the place we called home for over 30 years. The condo came with a perfectly working somewhat updated dishwasher. The first time we ran a load of dishes it sounded like jetliner engine and a locomotive all rolled into one. We knew right away that our first purchase had to be the Quietest dishwasher available. After some research my hubby said Get this LG and boom quick online order and viola peace and quiet in our 890 sq ft retirement nest. Thank-you LG oh and the dishes are really clean too and I keep track of everything through the online app. Great convenience and efficiency is our new Quiet dishwasher.

Poor design and poor dry feature

The bottom rack is so terrible designed. Its like a divider row is missing or something and dishes fall over without proper support. And it literally does NOT DRY. It will be days and still I will pull out dishes that are wet. This was an obviously brand new machine when we bought our house just 18 months ago and I cannot stand it.

Extremely Poor Customer Service

The motor failed on our dishwasher 5 weeks back. LG has done a very poor job with the customer service front. They keep punting to one of the appliance repair companies that they referred us to. The service tech that I have been able to communicate with tells me that LG did a poor job of providing the necessary information to get the part that needs repair. Bottom line after 5 weeks so far: our dishwasher still doesnt work the new motor was installed the service company ultimately had to order without LGs Letter of Authorization process the motor failing made the controller failed estimate to replace everything now is $1000+...still no resolution. Pretty horrible considering we paid $1800.00 on this dishwasher.

Not to Typical LG Standards

Weve had this dishwasher a little over a year. The first week we had it a wheel broke off the top rack the plastic piece completely broke in half so no fixing without replacing. Its been great since then until a lower spray arm broke off the bottom this past week. The parts seem cheaply made for what we paid for this dishwasher. We bought this dishwasher early 2022 from Lowes. We waited several months to be delivered received in August 2022. We bought all LG appliances for kitchen and laundry based on our previous experience with the brand. However the dishwasher is probably our least favorite. Im not sure we have a warranty as i had spinal surgery shortly after we received the dishwasher. Why we should even need a warranty to fix an appliance this new puzzles me. Stand by your products.

Nothing but problems with this machine. Heating element died 18months in. The water still gets hot but the drying feature doesnt work. Mildewed smelling dishes. Replaced the front control panel last month due to errors being placed after every wash. Drain feature works really well manually. Old water doesnt seem to get sucked all the way out after a cycle. Very disappointed.

To have the new features of interior lights quad wash and steam are significant upgrades to our last unit. Its also very Geoff to have so much flexibility when it comes to rack placement. Best Dishwasher We Ever Had

We purchased the LG SIGNATURE TOP CONTROL SMART WI-FI ENABLED DISHWASHER WITH TRUESTEAM AND QUADWASH as part of a home remodeling. It has many features that are concveneint and efficient plus it does a good job of actually cleaning dishes glasses kitchen utensils and silverware. The longer cycle helps and is something that needs to planned for ahaed of time. LG also offers a nice rebate when purchased with other appliances whoch helped reduce our overall budget. Unlike some rebate offers this was an easy process and payment arrived in a reasonbale amount of time

This is the best dishwasher I have ever had. It washes everything crystal clean. You need to use a rinse agent however. My daughter-in-law was skeptical about a crusty macaroni and cheese dish that I put in but it came out clean and bright. The wash cycle is longer than I am used to but not a big issue.

The dishwasher works really well My review is at the end of one year ownership. We had an issue where the dishwasher would not drain about 3 weeks before the manufacturer warranty expired and the LG Signature team came through. The service side of LG ownership is legit...parts are sent to your home prior to the appointment and the service technician was professional quick and couldnt tell he was there after he was done. Overall I think Im an LG customer for life.

Wash motor gave out after 1.5 year. Bought the unit almost day 1 after it was released. Disappointed that we had to call support and have someone come out twice to fix it. For being a Signature product I would hope for signature reliability.

When the repairman declared my top-of-the-line seriously quiet dishwasher as terminal I had to find something new because there was a 7-month wait to get the brand I had. After research I settled on the LG Signature. So glad I did. Not only is it just as quiet but it also washes so much better. Baked on casseroles that once required follow-up hand scrubbing now come out spotless. The capacity is amazing. Im not sure what more I could have hoped for.

I like the Layout and design that lets you modify drawers to accommodate different dishes easily. Its fairly quiet as well. The led buttons seem a little finicky. You are supposed to hold/touch for 3 seconds to get secondary features but the clean feature doesnt really tell you if its cleaning. The illumination of time and other things doesnt make it clear. Its not user friendly like that. Still it cleaned well and I didnt have to pre wash dishes. However it just stopped working one day. I have been patient because I understand supply chains arent what they were Pre-COVID but its now been over two months and the dishwasher isnt fixed. When I brought up the warranty the service person actually told me they were complying with the warrant because they are trying to fix it. Heres what happened. It broke. We called for service. A service person came and said ther was a bad master power board. He ordered the part and made an appointment to return about a week later. A week later there was no service person. The service techs are sub contracted. They didnt come because the part didnt come. But no one informed me. I just waited at home and eventually called first the sub contractor and then Lg to figure this out. Side note: No one cares how Many times you miss work for these appointments either. Over the course of a month I called three or 4 times to ask about the part. I was told an arrival date that didnt happen a total of 3 times.The 4th time a pert showed and the contractor came the next day to fix the dishwasher. But they had sent the wrong part. So they ordered the part again. A part came again 4 days later and a service tech showed. Wrong part. At this point we were over two months since the dishwasher broke. This is when I asked about just replacing the entire unit. Last night a third part came but the appointment I made with the subcontractor was cancelled. Found this out while sitting home waiting for them. Not sure why. So dishwasher has not been fixed and the question I asked about elevating the issues and getting a different resolution has not been responded to either. I bought this dishwasher as part of a package at Costco. Every single appliance has needed repairs the refrigerator was so broken I had to return the whole package and get a new one thanks to Costco standing by things the oven wouldnt clean and needed a new motor and not I have been without a dishwasher for over two months. Super Disappointed. This was a high end purchase and youd think youd get more from that. Will be very hard to convince me to ever buy LG appliances again. Like their TVs and wanted things to work In harmony for a connected house. But this has been so painful.

Astoundingly poor performance

Wow Who would think that a dishwasher that costs SO much would do such a terrible job? My dishes are uniformly greasy at the end of a cycle and to top it off there are horrible spots on the glasses. This is hands-down the worst dishwasher I have ever owned. SO DISAPPOINTED.

I bought this and received it a few weeks ago. Its a wonderful dishwasher with great features. The only problem I have is getting the touch sensor to accept start. For some reason it takes quite a few tries to get it to start.

I bought this a month ago. Not a super fan of LG but this was their Signature Series. So I gave it a chance. This dishwasher is pricier than a lot of the higher end brands. Reviews werent stellar. Due to Covid nobody out their has put a newly designed machine out since 2018-1019. To sum it up its just a dishwasher it however is the absolute most quiet dishwasher I and many others whove been to my home have heard. Cleans about the same as my 20 year old dishwasher I expected at this price point that LG had evolutionary made the next big advance. Nope. Average in every way except it uses bunches of soundproofing fabric to give that silence. In a nutshell. Maybe wait for a newer model. The super negative feature about this LG dishwasher is that it never dries the dishes completely.

Bought the unit in December 2021 and installed in January 2022. The wait was worth it. I like the features it has 3 adjustable racks for dishes and utensils steam and turbo washes. Its quiet while in use and the design matches the rest of my kitchen.

I bought this about a few months ago and I am not happy at all. Unless the food is wet it doesnt come off. If you had something with color in a white bowl the color stays on the bowl and you have to hand wash it to get it off. I have white dishes. The dishes always have to be dried when you open it no matter what setting it is put on. When it shows END the machine sounds like it is still running. I run my dishes at night and am not happy that in the morning it sounds like its still running. I am very unhappy as we paid top dollar for this machine thinking it would be wonderful and we have been VERY DISAPPOINTED

I purchased this to replace my 13 year old Kenmore Elite which I liked very much and at the time had the lowest Db rating available. This LG machine has a listed Db rating of 38 and indeed is very quiet. Installing the sound proofing materials was problematic due very poor instructions. Fortunately I found a You Tube video which clarified it. The machine does a fine job of cleaning my dishes and as I mentioned is very quiet. I also like the lighted tub. The rack system is very poorly designed. When attempting to load bowls or saucers on the middle rack the foldable tines constantly collapse and thus the dishes need to be gingerly reloaded. The silverware caddy has a large handle in the middle which is in the way of some of the silverware compartments and makes loading more of a hassle than it should be. I like the dishwasher but LG should redesign the racks.

We just renovated our kitchen and our old 25+ year old Kitchenaide dishwasher that still worked great did not fit in with the remodel. I decided to go with this LG model and we are amazed at how quiet it is. It took us a few washes to get the drying part to our liking. All in all we are very satisfied with this purchase.

LG Signature dishwasher

I had to replace my 12.5 year old LG steam dishwasher because the control display panel stopped working and the part was no longer available I was told parts are only made for 7 years. I wanted a quiet model and this one seemed to be rated as the quietest. Ive only used it a couple times. I like the bright interior light and the racks work great they are better designed than the previous model I had. Im not sure how well it cleans yet and need a few more times running it. So far it doesnt seem to clean better than my previous machine. There are special drying cycles my previous model didnt have. I like the fingerprint-resistant finish and integrated handle. It sticks out a little further than my other dishwasher did and Im not sure why because the specs seem to show the same depth. This seems to be the most expensive model and I probably would have gotten something less expensive if there was another model as quiet as this one. I dont need a Wi-Fi enabled machine.

We have always bought the top of the line Kenmore Dishwashers. The one we had still worked great after 15 years but we were remodeling the kitchen and the old one did not match. After looking at what seemed liked a hundred different dishwashers my wife said this was the one she wanted. I was afraid it would not live up to her expectations. I was wrong. She is so happy with the quietness and the results that you could not remove this dishwasher if you wanted to.

I bought this a couple of months ago and already had to have the repairman in to fix an issue that kept us from using it for 2 weeks. Also the other problem is that it does NOT get everything clean. So we have to prewash/rinse off most of the dishes and utensils before putting in dishwasher. We had an old 25 year + dishwasher in our other house and never had any problem with getting the dishes clean with NO rinsing. why cant newer products work the same.

We purchased this dish washer about a month ago. The price made us hesitate for a moment but after reading about all its features we decided it would be worth it. We have not been disappointed It is quiet dishes come out sparkling with little or no scraping or rinsing. We like the finish as fingerprints are much less visible than our previous stainless- finish dishwasher. We would definitely recommend the LG Signature

Very quiet dishwasher with interior tub LED lights

I purchased this LG Signature dishwasher in early January 2021 from Costco that replaced an 8-year old GE dishwasher. Delivery was relatively quick by the 3rd week in January. Its very quiet and I love the interior tub LED lights that are very bright that light up the inside of the dishwasher so I can easily see the dishes that are placed in there. All the previous dishwashers I had didnt have any interior lights so these lights really help me a lot. It has Wi-Fi connectivity that I linked to the LG ThinQ app on my cellphone that shows the settings and status such as how many minutes are remaining on the wash estimated time when it will be completed which is helpful so I dont need to come downstairs to check if the dishwasher is done washing. As for the installation of this new dishwasher Costco arranged with a company named Kepco to do the installation after the delivery. When the installer came 3 weeks after the delivery in early February 2021 he removed my old GE dishwasher installed the new LG and hauled away the old unit. He did a good job on the installation which took him around an hour and half to complete. I used the new dishwasher for the first time last night and all my dishes were sparkling clean cleaner than with my old GE dishwasher. Hopefully I will have many years of trouble-free use out of this LG dishwasher.

Truly quiet dishwasher

The dishwasher is very quiet and has a smudge-free stainless finish and clean lines. Dishes and glassware sparkle after cleaning. The real test was dried on canned cat food bowl. It always requires overnight soaking to come clean. The LG rendered it shiny and spotless with no soaking or scraping.
