Poor quality poor support and a bad company

Do not buy this dishwasher We bought from the official website and had it installed this year August. At the time they installed it the installer left my floor multiple long scratches and they refused to acknowledge that and refuse to take responsibility. About two months later it stops draining we called the support and they basically just transferred you to different departments back and forth and refused to send people to come to check it out. One technician in the end told us he literally said that this dishwasher cannot handle store bought detergent pods we bought them in Costco so it stuck there and it couldnt drain It cannot perform basic dish washing it is just a nightmare. At the time it stopped draining we are about to go on a vacation and a week later it started working again. But now four months later after we bought it it stopped working again completely the technician finally came and told us that the panel is dead They had to order a new panel for us then can come to install it and to see if this would work. Now is Thanksgiving and we have no working dishwasher This is such a nightmare especially when this is all the big meals happen Poor quality poor customer support and a company that refuse to take responsibility of scratching my floor

Great Features - Flexible Interior

I love the top rack for silverware. It allowed me to removed the bottom utensil basket so I could fit larger rectangle baking items for that slot. Its been reliable and its relatively quiet. The middle rack is adjustable up and down so that made it get stuck so the door wouldnt close. LG sent a replacement drawer. My only complaint is I have to refill the rinse aid almost every time. Perhaps the app which alerts me to refill the rinse aid is the issue and not the dishwasher itself.

Absolute headache

Doesnt work out of the box. Ive placed 4 calls and each time Im requested to do something new before hey will send out a technician. It is ridiculous to have to jump through so many hoops with no resolution. I wish I could just return it and get something else.

Still not repaired. This dishwasher has had a malfunctioning heater element which is covered under warranty. Almost two weeks after making a claim no progress has been made by LG.

We love our LG dishwasher. It actually cleans the dishes unlike our previous dishwasher The well thought out features. like the large utensil basket that holds each piece of silverware separately helps to get all the silverware pieces clean. We love the pull out tray up top for larger utensils and knives or smaller items. Its been a great purchase for us. Thank you

Excellent Washer

Excellent product so far. Cleaning is excellent dishes are perfectly dried using the boost feature. Excellent design. I like the dish separators that fold down to accommodate large items like pots and pans. Also like the third tray for small items like knives chop stickes etc. Features are great. I especially like the one hour wash which I use often. However I have only been using it for a couple of months now so I cant comment of the durability of the product.

Better features than Bosch 800 but a tad louder

My wife and I compaired this model with a Bosch 800 series model SHP78CM5N. LG: sturdy ball bearing shelves deep top rack to hold spatualas jar lids water bottle and coffee mug lids more wash options than Bosch better warrenty can do delay start without an app led lights are cool Bosch: can only do delay start with the home connect wifi app top rack is not deep and cannot hold coffee cup lids the reviews state people remove the rack sine it is useless the tines in the bottom rack are too narrow for any dishes except thin corellware plates the drawers are rickedy. Less wash cycles than LG. After 3 hours fitting dishes in the store we bought the LG with a 5 year warrenty for the price of Bosch with no warrenty. We have had 3 bosch dishwashers and the new design of the racks do not work well unless you have tiny bowles and thin plates. I installed it and installed the sound insulation kit follow youtube video because instructions are useless. The LG is lounder than the 3 previous bosches I have owned. You can hear the water going in the dischwasher and you can hear the wash cycle. It does not bother us but if you want a silent dishwasher dont get an LG. The drying is a tad bit better than the bosh but we run it on the 1 hour wash and when it is done we open the doors and the water evaporates off the dishes quickly. Overall the staff at North Coast Appliance in mckinleyville CA are awesome to work with than other appliance stores in Humboldt County and the features of this dishwasher far outway the poor design and a tad bit quieter Bosch. Get the 5 year warrenty for $200 if you dont use it in 5 years you get $100 back. I give it 4 stars because the website said it has 40dba while the Bosch is 42dba our previous Bosch was a 45dba and this one is clearly louder that our previous Bosch.
