Brand new washer and the water valve leaks by. The drum will fill with water when unattended. LG took over a week to come look at it to order a new valve another 2 weeks to come install it and it was the wrong valve. Now 3 more weeks to get the correct valve and install it.

I dont have the appliances yet and already am completely frustrated. I selected installation which is free/included with the machine but this was lost in the purchase process and now the installer wants to charge me to install it. I have tried 5 times today to contact customer service to fix the problem and after 2+ hours of people who cant even find my order they finally blame me. I doubted my decision to buy direct and now I regret it. I will buy from a retailer from now on.

We purchased this unit along with the dual inverter ductless dryer. They look great. Thats about it. This washer was purchased and installed directly by LG. The unit was in our house for a week before we stopped all activity due to a heavy water leak. We have a new build home and thought there was a plumbing issue within our walls. Found out the washer was leaking underneath not at any connection point. The washer was placed in a leak pan but they broke the pan during installation we were unaware. The plumber had to cut out drywall on the opposite wall and ceiling downstairs to remove the damage. I have asked LG to take this product and bring me a new one along with damage repair. They processed a tech to come out two weeks later without communicating to us. Thats two weeks no means to clean clothes new home ripped apart from flooding and no urgency from LG to make this right after giving them nearly $3000 just a week earlier. Their reasoning in not replacing the unit is because they need someone to open up the unit and attempt a repair before they replace the machine. Again this unit was less than 5 days old and LG cares more about saving money than putting their customer first.

This washer with matching dryer was delivered 10 days ago and its all that I have an older LG front-load washer/dryer at another home that is probably 10+ years old and has been such a workhorse with no issues that choosing a new LG was a no-brainer. Direct-drive motor and stainless steel tub are musts for me. The only hiccup was connecting the washer to the home internet. It was excessively difficult and only completed after I did research on YouTube that showed how to make the initial connection using TWO cellphones and upgrading the software. Yes it was just that convoluted. But once connected its been flawless. I have done more than 20 loads in 10 days so adequate usage to feel confident that we made an excellent choice.

I called for leak from bottom of the washer and they were asking about leakage location and proof of the leakvideo or picture. Well it was happen around noon time. I didnt think about taking proof but instead started cleaning because this is my brand NEW houseabout 7 month. Who would think that LG will ask for proof. They guy on phone told me that if they send someone it will be chargeable and I was shocked. After talking with manager he stated that he can send me some cleaning material which I have to run through tub clean cycle and if the issue re-occur I have to take videoproof to show them and also to book on site person appointment without cost. Finally we agreed and they sent me a free tub clean solution which used one. So far no leak BUT my point is if they would have send someone to check the leak could have help to figured out the root cause and also give me piece of mind once the site guy open the washer and check everything inside.

I ordered a washer and dryer stacking unit and haul away service. The items came the following week but the dryer came damaged which they did not tell me until they had already uninstalled my other unit that was still functional. Horrible customer / replacement service. I called on Wednesday Friday and now I am on the following Monday. I dont have a ship date or delivery date. They called today and asked what needed to be replaced so they could get it expedited and I am beyond frustrated. I asked to speak to a manager and they had to put in a request for one to call me back in the next 24 to 48 hours. If I could give a zero I would.

Love this LG washer and dryer

I washed 6 loads after receiving my washer and dryer and getting them hooked up. The washes does not use a lot of water so no waste there. This is a good feature since it will help to keep my water bill more manageable. My clothes smelled fresh and clean and any stains were removed with just a regular wash cycle. I have not yet tried the steam clean option but looking forward to using that option also. My clothes all came out with very few wrinkles and were so dry that they did not need to stay in the dryer for very long. The spin cycle does a great job of getting the water out of my clothes sheets and comforters.

Zero stars for product zero stars for service. Worst purchase I have ever made. Stopped working in less than a year. The warranty service and customer service was just awful. Communication was non existent was left in the dark several times wondering whats was happening with my warranty repair. Took over a month to get a repair person to show up. They upgraded the status to of our warranty to presidential like they were taking it more seriously. That is just a lie in my opinion to try to make you feel better like they are taking your claim more seriously. The service never changed it was still terrible communication was still terrible. After the repair was complete they tried to tell us it was in working order but it literally was doing the exact same thing the day the repair technician left. The machine does not even power on most of the time or it does and the display just blinks and glitches. When I told them it is still not working they asked if I wanted to have them send the repair technician again. I said yes and just like before no communication its been several days and I have not heard back. You have to go well out of your way and reach out to them multiple times wasting hours on the phone to get anything moving along. My family has not been able to do laundry for two months. I will never purchase an lg product again. Literally the worst experience with a product and company I have ever had. Zero stars for product zero stars for service.

Ive owned the machine for about a month. A very long month. Ive used every cycle and cant find ONE that works as advertised. 1 load takes anywhere from 5 to 7 hours to wash and dry. Even after it finally stops I usually have to run just the dry cycle for an additional 30-60 mins more to finish drying. Forget about washing a comforter that wash and dry started at 8:30 pm and when I woke at 6am it was still running. I removed it and completed drying it at my sons house. Id give it NO stars but that wasnt an option.

The new house has a arc breaker and it pops all the time. Electrician has been over 3 times and replaced it. He told me its because when covid happened companies started using old parts or reusable parts to build these. Very very very unhappy about all this

I bought this washing machine a few months ago. It only uses a small amount of detergent and has excellent features and options for washing clothes. It also washes the clothes faster than my previous LG. The only problem I found is once a month I need to run a tub clean a couple of times because the drum has a smell to it Ive never had to do this before and Ive had other LG washers. After running the tub clean twice it works great for another month or so. We used detergent with no fragrance in it so I dont know why this is happening.

Purchased LG Washer and dryer from LG.com Delivery servoxe unhooked my appliances tjst worked and then uncrated the new ones only to find the dryer was damaged I asked tjw delivery servoce to rehook my existimg dryer whuxh they refused citing liabilty issues So i had to pay a third party to reinstall while LG redelivered new dryer Second delivery i would not let Delivery service unhook my dryer until thwy uncrsted new dryer----only tonfindnthe replacement drywr also damaged The delivery service tols mentje damagenis from LG usimg a forklift that squeezes tje dryernto lift it causing tje damage No one from LG has contacted me about a third replacement but i am not hopeful it alsomwont be damaged I paid over $2600 to LG and i still dont have a dryer after a month plusninhas to pay to reconnect Horrible service and policy to unhook existimg appliances before ensurimg new ones are damaged I have been a loyal LG fan for years but will think twice tje next time

Great washer except door opening direction

Had washer for about a year and it has performed flawlessly. Washing cycles very efficient and quick. Its very quiet direct drive motor is a great advantage. Would give it 5 stars except for the door is not reversible- my washer has to go on the right side of my LG washer-dryer pair because of dryer vent duct location so doors open to the middle making laundry transfer from washer to dryer very awkward. Would be great if LG offered an option for door opening direction.

Damaged products not replaced

Ordered LG washer dryer and two pedestals on November 15 2023 through The Home Depot. On four attempts they have delivered damages items and/or failed to deliver undamaged replacement items. As of January 8 2024 they have yet to deliver all of the items that I ordered in an undamaged condition. I am currently waiting on a response from The Home Depot. My understanding is that product replacements must be approved by LG. I currently have not been told when or if the damaged products will be replaced. LG can you do better?

Strongly recommend avoiding LG appliances. Had a 4 year old washing machine that broke down had an LG tech come out only to tell me the part is discontinued and Im out of luck. LG Customer Services solution to this was to buy another LG washing machine and theyll give me 15 off worse than any basic retail sale which they would not negotiate. Adding insult to injury they charged me the full amount for the repair that never happened and told me I have to wait 4-6 weeks to be reimbursed.
