Unacceptable system update and shelf design

Find a different fridge if you are looking for a great fridge, I don't recommend you get this. after a year the hub will be updated and the functions you were using will no longer work. the part that is most annoying is just cleaning the glass shelf on top of the vegetable crisper. when it gets dirty, it's difficult to first detach the shelf from the fridge, and even more difficult to separate the glass from the shelf. i mean whoever designed this did not make it easy for consumers because it's so poorly designed.

i love the refrigerator but it has some issues with the bixby, the other day it repeated the morning update 5 times until i turned if off. and the door accidently rubbed up against our pantry the the black stainless come off in 3 spots, now i have to find touch up paint, very disappointing

horrible refrigerator have had it for about 5-6 weeks and mold is being formed everywhere, and samsung does not care, technicians from samsung had said the feidge needs to be replaced and samsung said " no its an external issue" and now must make a request to the department of health and jump through hoops to get a replacement when samsung always makes these over priced refrigerators, just to break after a few weeks, better to go with kenmore or lg at this point!

Easy to Organize

I love the added features to easily organize my cooking ingredients. As someone who has cooked for over 50 years it's nice to rearrange the shelves in a second from ingredients to the finished tray, cooking pot or tall dessert. Additionally as a Computer Engineer Technologist twenty five years ago with Windows 95 brand new myself and a small group of friends tried to design a refrigerator that work like the life hub. The times we not ready for us. There were no smart phones and the internet was still a novelty. Now with this refrigerator I can do more than we even imagine then and am looking forward to the adventure I get with my new appliances

I absolutely love the refrigerator. The space inside is well worth it. The apps are endless, the ease of use is great. Only 2 complaints which makes me give a 4 and not 5. 1- the ice maker is very slow to produce cubes. 2- the speakers are staticy if the volume is too high for the music. But overall the refrigerator itself is amazing.

i purchased the black stainless steel version. i love everything about the fridge; the space, the technology etc. i don't like the fact that i purchased the whole kitchen suite of appliance and they don't all match. the other appliances are all black stainless steel, but they are matte. the fridge is shiny and it stands out. i am a little disappointed. :(

I recently purchased this refrigerator. I love it. It is spacious. The middle drawer really comes in handy, for meats/cheeses and a few vegetables. The freezer is quite spacious, for a single guy. I have a lot of frozen veggies and meats. Not a ton on room for boxed frozen items. Then, there is the Family Hub. It is amazing I have owned this model for a few months, and still have yet to figure out all of its options. I play around with it almost daily. The things the Hub can do are amazing. The expiring soon food item is one of my favorite things. I highly recommend this item .

Bought this fridge at Costco and even though shipping took forever due to the whole covid situation. It was totally worth the wait! Every time someone comes over they never fail to compliment the fridge. I love that you can link it to your phone and know EXACTLY what's inside using the built in cameras inside the fridge. Only downside is that you can't watch Netflix or Hulu on the screen but YouTube works just fine! Great buy I definitely recommended!!

first off, we purchased this fridge through costco which is the best route to go with for warranty. this fridge is like going from a '93 toyota paseo to a tesla. the technology inside this is phenomenal. the cameras inside not only take account of what you buy and the expiration dates, but i'm sure it let's my personally assigned fbi agent know that i'm eating my fruits and veggies. there are pre-installed apps which has a meal planner with meal inspirations that has really pushed me to try new meals, which is a godsend when quarantine has killed every meal you enjoyed and you're craving something new. all our appliances are samsung and they've been top quality so far, so getting a fridge from them was the logical next step. it looms great in the kitchen!

we love the refrigerator but hate the ice maker. we have had nothing but trouble with the ice maker since we bought it in 2015. during that time we have had it "repaired" at least six or seven times. every time they did something different and it worked fine for a while then acted up again. samsung doesn't seem to want to make this right or they would have replaced it a long time ago. our extended warranty has run out and it's leaking water again. i guess when the wife gets mad again it'll go to the junk yard where it belongs.

I like the features of this fridge. The deli drawer is handy and the water dispenser is nice. However, the screen repeatedly gets an error message, with an accompanying shrill alarm, that can only be stopped by pulling out the fridge and unplugging it.

Not as open a platform as I hoped. Samsung forces Bixby on you and then locks down the apps you can interact with. Don't use Ring for your doorbell, tough. Don't use Samsung reminders/calendars/notes, tough. Sad, this could be a great product.

We have had our refrigerator for a few months. We love it but boy, it's going to take some time to learn how to use all of its features. We did get a few error messages about low voltage we need to have checked out. Also the computer screen froze up on us twice and was displaying two different times on the main screen. We had a technician come out but he didn't know how to operate the computer either. We had a repairman come for our stove and he was AMAZING. He kindly gave me a little tutorial and it was much appreciated. Overall it is amazing and I am sure once we learn all of its features we will love it even more!

I purchased this fridge 4 months ago and it's simply amazing. I love everything about it, I can play music and display pictures on it. The fridge is big, has plenty of room for just about anything. It looks great as well. Highly recommend.

Great looking refrigerator

We just bought a new house and have all white cabinets and countertops. We wanted a fridge with nice contrast so we went with the black chrome. It looks great! Very sleek design and the oversized screen is a nice addition. We paired our Ring to it which is a great feature, we can be standing in the kitchen and see who is at the door just looking at the fridge.

I was very excited with the features on this refrigerator. I can create a shopping list right on the fridge and view it on my phone while shopping. It separates the list out itself from meats to condiments which is helpful when trying to get in and out of the grocery store. The calendar feature is nice to put in work schedules and doctors appointments. You can communicate actions by using Bixby including pulling up google to search the internet right from your refrigerator. Being able to add photos of your family and friends to your screen is a great feature. It also has an inside view of your fridge that you can view on your phone. I love the fact that it will show you the temperature and weather conditions and usually shows a picture that matches the weather conditions outside, for instance if it's raining then it may show rain falling on tree tops or if its cloudy you may see a picture of rolling clouds. So far I'm not disappointed in the least with my purchase. The only changes I would make is the drawer size in the doors.

I bought this at end of June and didn't get it until the end of July. Unfortunately a big reason I bought the family hub was for the idea of having the ring doorbell connected so I can see the door when I am in the kitchen. Still can't get some of the apps working because it says I don't have the right browser. Frustrating.
