4-door heaven!

I knew my back wouldn't stand up to bending over and rooting through freezer drawers, so when we needed to replace our old fridge and I saw this four-door, I was sold. I love the drawers and slide-out shelves in the two lower freezer sections (the flex-zone is nice, but it will always just be a freezer for me.) I don't need "chippies" (the second ice option), so I turned them off and commandeered that drawer for more storage space. The split half-shelf in the fridge has come in handy, as has having the entire fridge area be above waist level…I didn't realize how badly I wanted that convenience until I had it!! I do miss having a deli drawer, but plastic storage bins more than make up for it. A great benefit has been the even cooling: I can finally store anything in the very back of the fridge and IT WON'T FREEZE!!! Complaints: 1) I'd have liked more shelf-level options in the fridge. 2) It would have been nice to have been able to opt out of the in-door water pitcher so that door storage space could be maximized. 3) The split shelves were so hard to disconnect when we wanted to adjust them, that we were afraid they'd break; so, we called the installation tech to come back the day after delivery to do it for us. He showed us how to party finesse/partly force the shelves apart, but that really shouldn't have been necessary. 4) The sides and top of this fridge have the same black textured surface as my old fridge – great for hiding fingerprints – but the doors for this Samsung were only available in stainless steel. I'd ask why, but I know SS and other smooth surfaces are the current fashion…but it's a boldface lie to say ANY stainless-steel hides fingerprints!! Plus, the black stainless steel isn't as black as my other kitchen appliances (I'd call it charcoal) so it doesn't quite match. These are minor complaints having nothing to do with performance! I know I'll be wiping fingerprints off the doors of this fridge every day until I die, but I don't care – I love it and am so happy to have found it when I needed to replace the old one.

Extreme difficulty to find parts.

I bought this a month ago and my child dented one of the panels, it has been completely impossible to find where to purchase the panel or the door replacement. It is quite sad that Samsung forwards me toward a 3rd party vendor that they cant produce the part because they don't have part numbers. The smart things capability is not working either. I have tried everything and it doesn't connect.

I do not recommend this refrigerator. It quit working after 2 months. There are more details to my story but I'm told this is not the place for them. This was my first (and last) Samsung purchase.

Very roomy! Ice maker is the freezer section, makes both small cubes on one side and large cubes on the other. Auto fill pitcher in the inner door and is always filled to the top. I like the no show handles especially when you have a small kitchen. You can check settings from your phone and sends notification if door is open too long. Great buy and upgrade from what I had before.

Most Flexible Refrigerator I've Ever Owned!

I bought this refrigerator to fit in the remodel of my kitchen. It is absolutely beautiful! It is slightly larger than the old fridge but I can get so many more items into and still see what's in it without moving everything around. The right side freezer can be used 3 ways: freezer; sub freeze, very cold but not frozen; fridge. I love it! Foods stay at the temp I want them to be wherever I place them.

Unique Design, But Poor Quality Control

Quality Control. There was a small dent on one of the front doors that protruded outward. Since it is behind interior glued in insulation/shelving, this was damage caused in manufacturing. Any quality control inspector with a good attention span should have caught this. We would have seen it if all wrapping would have been removed before sign off. It will be a gamble over the next decade to see if something else got missed on the assembly line. Wifi Setup. The only option is to use 17 year old WPA2 if you want any security, which any good hacker can overcome with code published last year. This is not mentioned anywhere in the manual and since many wifi routers today use a higher level of security by default, most people will have difficulty maintaining a connection for this feature. It also means that your entire network then becomes compromised unless a separate network is set up specifically for the refrigerator. The majority of customers don't have that skill or initiative. Overall Rating. The Flex Zone feature to change the temperature usage of a compartment is absolutely the only thing causing us from returning this refrigerator. There are other details that I would like to mention, but am unable to due to the policy of what can be included.

Nothing is Perfect but this Fridge comes Close!

This review is built upon 2 months of ownership of the Smart 4-Door Flex. Other than the water pitcher not automatically refilling a few times (I remedied this by removing the cold water droplets off of the pitcher's sensor) the fridge has consistently maintained refrigeration and provided loads of ice. If you are afraid that this fridge has the capacity of WiFi due to a potential Terminator scenario, you should be pleased to know that this fridge doesn't need to be connected to the internet to function. If you do decide to connect it, you unlock cool perks like being able to receive a phone text notification if the fridges senses you left a fridge door open. Overall a solid purchase.

purchased the 29ft3 4-door flex and love the looks! unfortunately, the sleekness disappears with the first touch as any touch shows on the stainless. it hides nothing. i'm cleaning it every night. my frigidaire professional hid everything. i was concerned about not having a water and ice dispenser. i must say i love the constant fill water pitcher and find myself drinking more water. however, the ice maker is not as nice. it doesn't make very much ice and the ice it makes you push out the back when trying to get some. the flexibility of the fourth door is perfect for us. we have 3 chest freezers in the garage and needed more refrigerator space. this accomplishes it well. our refrigerator was always overflowing but not anymore. it's nice to see everything you have.

Dream Fridge

major buying points, smooth front for easy cleaning, no water dispenser we never use & no ice maker taking up space in the main compartment. i've been dreaming of this fridge. i like that there are two removable ice buckets for a party or opt to turn it off for more space. the flex zone is a must: have a party, use it as a drink fridge or like wine….chiller or use it for raw meats for colder safer temps and to reduce risk of cross contamination or use it for deli-meats and cheeses. we currently have a drawer but the space is limited to very specific sizes. the pitcher is genius. we cold brew tea every night which takes up a huge amount of space. with the pitcher all i have to do is toss a tea bag in overnight and the fridge will do the rest. i hope they never discontinue this design.

i love my new fridge. it has no wasted space. i like the convenience of cold water and ice but i was not willing to compromise on space inside. this design has the ice in the freezer and it was still easy to access. the inside fridge door has a pitcher that fills up on its own. i was concerned the small pitcher wouldn't hold enough water, but it fills up with cold water quickly. it holds enough for two or three glasses to be filled up. but i absolutely love this fridge! value was why i did not give it five stars. it is pretty pricey and i had to wait a very long time to receive it. and i see it is advertised on sale for almost a thousand dollars less than when i bought it.
